The speckles are supposed to be like, the nutmeg/cinnamon some people sprinkle on the top of eggnog, plus I literally just took the color code of eggnog, so. I'll be doing a better version later tonight that kind of blends the speckles better. ^^'

I realize that's what they're supposed to be haha, it just looks a little weird... on a lion? xD I think maybe the leg speckles overdo it a bit? The tail looks ok, but maybe just a small cluster on the tip of the back, besides that. (Sorry I'm so picky, this is just my opinion) It's a harsh color like I said so too much of it just looks... sparkly

Yeah, I was just dotting and at that point I had so many dots on it that photoshop didn't want to crtl+z them all off XD It'll probably be an exaggerated thing. O'm planning on doing one more mock up, I think I'll put the specks on and lower their opacity.

They look a lot like those Chocolate markings that were introduced on NCLs during... the - I want to say April events. The one that introduces NCL markings for Explore NCLs after that tier is opened. It could be February now that i think about it.. lol. Which ever.. I like the milky/light cream base with those speckles.. although I likely wouldn't want them so prominent on just the legs and back/head. Maybe scatter them out through the body. I like the tail-tip counter shading though.

I think it'd look good if you took the color for the speckles and put it on just the edges
Base of the tail, around the feet and up the backs of the legs, just the line of the back, not all the way to the belly, and the top of the head and ears?

The second is a nutmeg color code, but I can see how they look like the chocolate ones. I may switch to the back of the cinnamon color of the first one, I dunno.

I do like that idea, Calcifer, I'll see what I'm able to do since my coloring game is terrible.

Hm. I like it on the male lion, the only thing I dislike are the speckles. Maybe blend them in a bit more, and make them much smaller.

If you made the spots smaller, added more of them, and blended them out more I think it would be a very beautiful addition to lioden. Have to say, though, I love the tail tip!
