Talonpaw || 8 Moons || Apprentice || Mentions: Timberpaw, everyone fighting He gasped for air as the rogue shook him off and threw him to the ground, hissing and crouching. It was a she-cat, he saw, not much older than twenty moons judging by her size and the fact that he had managed to harm her some before she could fight back. A born rogue. Talonpaw hissed and pushed himself back to his feet as she approached him, disgust showing clearly in her eyes. "Been a very bad kitten, now haven't you? Gone against your commands? Starclan doesn't like unruly apprentices," she smirked, and his eyes widened. If she was a born rogue, how did she know so much? "Y-yeah, bet they kicked you out for that," he spat back. Her face contorted with anger and she lunged at him, and he only had time to lift his paw to aim before he was batted over and teeth grabbed the scruff of his neck. "Wha- let me go!" he hissed, kicking out with his hind legs. He twisted and turned, trying to catch the eye of a warrior, but everyone were caught up in battles of their own. Timberpaw was still lying, unmoving, on the ground. He kicked out again, but the rogue took no notice, however, and leaped into the undergrowth. He fell to the ground, air beaten out of him once again, as she dropped him and he yowled, but it was cut short when she batted his head with a paw and picked him up again, continuing further into the woods. 0 players like this post! Fernpaw Ω She-cat Ω Apprentice Ω Mentions: Talonpaw, Cloudstar, Nightstripe, etc. Fernpaw stared in horror as her brother got knocked out, forgetting about the she-cat that had pinned her down. She squeezed her eyes shut, ready to take the blow to her neck. But just then, she heard paws thumping against the ground. Suddenly, all weight was lifted off her. She opened her eyes to see Nightstripe battling fiercely with the other she-cat. When she'd taken care of her, she rounded up on Fernpaw. Her ears flattened. "It would've taken too long! And I wanted to help you." She meowed, scrambling to her paws. Her eyes widened when she saw Cloudstar, the leader of Shadowclan, burst through the undergrowth and fling herself into the battle, with a patrol of warriors at her heels. We have a chance of winning! Fernpaw thought in relief. Suddenly, she remembered her brother. She spun around and leaped towards him, gazing admiringly at Talonpaw as the small tom tussled with Timberpaw's attacker. She put her ear against his flank, sighing in relief when she felt his flanks heaving. She grabbed his scruff and dragged him to a nearby bush. Then her eyes landed on Talonpaw once again. He was getting dragged away into a bush by a she-cat. Fernpaw bounded after them, fury making her more determined. She let out an earsplitting battle cry and leaped into the air. She landed squarely on the she-cat's shoulders. She sank her claws into her flesh, hissing. But the she-cat was so big that she only staggered under her weight. "Help me!" She yowled to Talonpaw as she clung to the rogue like a burr as she bucked underneath her. Suddenly, the she-cat rolled over, crushing Fernpaw underneath her. She let out a screech of agony as the rogue raked her claws over her sides. Fernpaw batted at her, her blows becoming weak and clumsy because of exhaustion. She felt her skin tear open and blood spread out through her tabby fur. "Aw, the little apprentice is in deep trouble now." The she-cat growled, thrusting her nose up to Fernpaw's. The she-cat lifted her paw, aiming for the final blow. She swiped down, faster than a lightning. But just then, Fernpaw cocked her head down and grabbed her massive paw between her jaws. Biting down hard until she felt her teeth touch the bone and the she-cat screech in pain, she jerked her head back, unbalancing the great she-cat. Kicking up with her frontpaw at her chin, the she-cat fell onto her side. She sprang onto her paws and slashed at the she-cat with a flurry of claws, until her paws became crimson and the she-cat begged her to stop. "Leave, and I will not kill you." Fernpaw snapped, stepping away. The she-cat hissed at her as she staggered to her paws. "Thunderclan still teach their apprentices the pawhold, eh?" She muttered before turning around and limping away, her tail disappearing into the undergrowth. Fernpaw stared questioningly after that strange she-cat. How does she even know about all this. Wingshade Ω She-cat Ω Deputy Ω Mentions: Wingshade let out a fierce battlecry as she lunged at a large tom's scruff. But before her teeth met his scruff, he wriggled away, and her jaws snapped at nothing. She growled in frustration as he pelted away from her, but satisfaction rose in her chest when she saw him flee away, leaving behind scarlet trail. Suddenly, piercing pain shot through her. She spun around, hissing as she managed to free her tail from a black and white tom's grip. He growled at her, before lunging for her throat. Wingshade rolled neatly over and splayed her legs. The tom, hissing in frustration, leaped at her. But Wingshade was ready and fastened her claws in his shoulders and haunches, before rolling over and pinning the small tom down. He raked his claws over the soft flesh on her belly. She sprang off him, feeling blood gush out of the wound. Baring her teeth, she reared up onto her hindlegs. Her opponent was about to copy her, but as he pushed at the ground with his forepaws, she slammed her paws down at his head. As the tom lay unconscious on the ground, she leaped towards his hindquarters, snapped her teeth around his tail and dragged him to a nearby thorn bush. She spun around when she heard a furious yowling. But just as she did, a ginger crashed into her, sending her flying backwards. She grunted as she landed heavily. All breath blown out of her, she lay stunned on the ground. She scrambled to her paws as the ginger she-cat strode over to her, her claws glinting in the newleaf sun. She rolled away before the she-cat would hurt her even more. She sprang to her paws, getting her breath back. She reared up and the she-cat lunged towards her. Wingshade sidestepped and grabbed the ginger's flanks and rolled her onto her back before pinning her down. She yowled in triumph when she saw a flash of fear glinting in the she-cats eyes. She grabbed the back of her head with one paw, and placed her other paw on her cheek. Then, before the ginger could do anything, she snapped the head around, and heard a loud crack. Wingshade stepped off her, staring at the she-cat. She felt sadness rising in her chest, but this was her fault. The rogue had brought her to do this to her. The rogues were thinning out, almost everyone being chased away or being overpowered. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Talonpaw ||8 Moons || Apprentice || Mentions: Fernpaw He stared after the she-cat disappearing into the bushes, limping badly. when he was sure she was gone, he hurried over to Fernpaw as quick as he could, nudging her. "Are you okay? Can you stand? That was awesome," he said in awe. The picture of the fireceness she displayed while battling the huge she-cat was still fresh on her mind. He looked over her and saw half of her pelt smeared in scarlet liquid, and several scratches and patches of fur were torn out. "This'll be a mess if we don't get you cleaned up!" he exclaimed horrified as he started licking her wounds, hoping to get away as much dirt and grime as he could. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Cloudstar~F~Leader~Shadowclan~ "Care for the injured." I called to Bluebird as we got closer to the indistinguishable sounds of battle. I came to the scene next to the gorge, seeing a large amount of rogues attacking my clan and Thunderclan. I didn't have time to reac, so I threw myself at the nearest black tom. I barreled into him, sending him into a bush. It didn't take long for him to get up and launch a counter attack. I jumped back onto ny hind paws as he lashed out. I met his blows with some of my own. A good blow hitting on the side of the head as i felt his claw break skin behind me ear. I rammed into him full on, making him stumble back. I hit him with a heafty right blow that was quickly followed by a left one. He shook his head, scattering crimson drops on me and the near foilage. He launched at me again, and I stepped aside to miss it. He landed close to the edge of the gorge. I took my opportunity. I spun on my back paws and lunged forward at him. I delivered a strong blow from my left paw, and felt the victorious tearing of flesh under my paw as it met his pelt. The tom did as exactly planned and turned to the left. I quickly locked my front legs around his throat, before using all my strength to twist to the left, slamming the tom to the ground. I quickly used my pack right paw to pin his body his right side and turned his head up. I placed a paw at the top of his throat, where it met his skull, and looked down at the tom. "You move, and I won't hesitate to kill you." I growled lowly into it's ear, before briefly examining the scene in front of me. Most of the rogues had been dealt with, but a few, and even then they wouldn't be around much longer. I looked back down at the tom, and pressed my claws into his throat, so the tip of them was against his skin firmly. Shadowrunner~F~Warrior~Shadowclan~ The tom tackled me, and bit into my already sore shoulder. I yowled at him, before grabbing on to the nearest thing, his ear. I tugged and felt a pop in my mouth, and he yowled. I took the moment to slide under him and push up, toppling him over. I rounded and went to go for his belly, and got met with his back paws to the chest. I landed on my back paws and used the momentum to push me forward at tom. I sunk my teeth into the side of his neck and my back paws pinned his shoulder's down. Condorpaw~M~Apprentice~Shadowclan~ We followed after Cloudstar as she raced off. I couldn't help but get excited and a little nervous. I looked up at Shadestorm as I kept up with him, seeing if he had anything to say. 0 players like this post! Like? |

((Hello my name is Topaz and I'm awful at fight scenes xD)). Shadestorm gave Condorpaw a friendly nudge with his shoulder in the hopes of cheering up the young tom. "We all make mistakes Condorpaw. Don't let the little things get you down." The commotion in the distance already had the gray and black tom pausing before Cloudstar brought it up and took off, ordering the patrol to follow. He raced after her as fast as his body would allow. His large size made him slower than the slimmer cats and he was likely the last to arrive at the gorge. "Hazelpaw, stay close to your mentor and do whatever he tells you! Condorpaw..." He hesitated a moment, almost wanting to send the tortoiseshell tom back to camp where he'd hopefully be safer. "Stay with Bluebird and Hazelpaw. Help them with anything they need and protect them to the best of your ability. I know you can do this," he finally commanded before flinging himself across to join the battle. Boulder | Tom | 40 Moons | Warrior (Eventually) | ShadowClan As Leafstorm tussled on the ground with one rogue another lunged at her from behind. Boulder would be having none of that. He took a running start and sailed over Leafstorm's body, colliding with his opponent and crashing to the ground with him. The pale gray tom he now had pinned beneath him hissed in defiance before recognition lit up his green eyes. "Boulder? So this is where you've run off too. Living with the Clan cats?" He asked mockingly. "How typical of you." Boulder didn't respond with words, instead shoving the tom, who he knew as Jay, away from him so they could fight properly. Jay's tail lashed and face twisted into a sneer. "You really think you can beat me, Clan cat?" Boulder leaped at him again without giving an answer. He ripped his claws across Jay's muzzle much to the other tom's outrage before Jay began snapping at his legs in an attempt to trip him up. He growled as he felt teeth scrap through fur and backed off just in time to avoid Jay getting a firm hold on him. Jay made an attempt at jumping onto his back next, but Boulder jerked up onto his hind legs, broad head slamming into Jay's belly and causing the other tom to land on his side completely knocked of breath. "I don't think, I know I can beat you," Boulder finally answered. Jay gritted his fangs and glared at Boulder hatefully once he recovered before getting to his paws. He disappeared back into the undergrowth, hopefully to never be seen again. Nightstripe | She-Cat | 15 Moons | Warrior | ThunderClan Nightstripe had intended to stay and help the apprentices fight, but upon spotting Vultureflight tearing towards Talonpaw and Fernpaw with his ears flat against his skull and a wild look in his eyes she supposed he had it covered. She turned to find Wingshade grappling with a ginger she-cat and hurried to assist the Clan deputy. By the time she managed to slip around the battling cats she found Wingshade standing over the body of a now dead rogue. She stared at Wingshade with slightly widened eyes. A true warrior did not need to kill. That is what she had always been told. Did that rule only include fellow warriors? Was it justifiable to kill a rogue? Vultureflight | Tom | 24 Moons | Warrior | ThunderClan Vultureflight burst back onto the scene just as things were beginning to die down. He spotted Talonpaw and Fernpaw standing by a bush looking rather battered and started towards them when a white she-cat began sneaking up on them. He barreled toward her like a bullet, a crazed look on his face. Apparently it was enough to frighten the young she-cat without much of a fight because she let out a yowl of alarm before turning tail. Part of him still wanted to chase her. Taste her blood in his mouth. Vultureflight had never killed another cat before the rogue in the woods and found there was something oddly satisfying about seeing the life drain out of an enemy's eyes. He came to a stop beside Talonpaw, looking the gray apprentice over. "Are you both alright?" 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 09/11/15 @ 10:39:33 by Topaz (#33076) |

Talonpaw || 8 Moons || Apprentice || Mentions: Fernpaw, Timberpaw, Vultureflight He almost jumped out of his skin when a loud yowl cut through the air behind him, and he caught a glimpse of a white, fluffy tail vanishing between the bushes. turning around, he found the sorce of the rogue's distressed fleeing; Vulturepaw was walking towards them, a slightly wild look in his eyes, his fur ruffled and blood-smeared, but he still bore a look of slight concern. "Just a few scratches," he replied quietly, trying not to think of the throbbing in his legs and back. "Fernpaw and Timberpaw got the worst of it, i think- Timberpaw!" He bounded up to his feet and almost knocked into Fernpaw on his way as he wildly looked around for the fellow apprentice. The last time he had seen him, he had still been lying unconscious on the ground. "Where is he? Did he wake up? Did he go back with anyone? Is he okay?" he exclaimed in slight panic. The she-cat hadn't carried him far, but they were still a little away from the spot of the main fight. 0 players like this post! Like? Bluebird | Male | ShadowClan Medicine Cat Mentions: Cloudstar, Hazelpaw, Condorpaw, Talonpaw, etc "Yes, Cloudstar," Bluebird's voice was firm and lacked the hesitation he felt cascading through his body. He was entirely unprepared and caught off guard. He was entirely devoid of herbs and any knowledge of where he could find them in ThunderClan territory, which they now stood on. He growled to himself, before glancing back at his apprentice, "Oh, what a comforting thought! The clan will be pleased to know they're left in good hands once I croak. Focus, Hazelpaw!" He hissed sharply, enough to make both young cats jump in surprise. He normally didn't carry such a piercing tone. His blue eyes flashed around the clearing as he struggled to distinguish his own cats from ThunderClan's. He supposed it didn't matter at this point- as the only medic on the scene, he'd morally be responsible for both parties. He finally focused in on a group of ThunderClan cats, standing up and stretching his head forward to call towards them, "Hey! I'm here to help, I'm ShadowClan's medicine cat. Are you alright?" His words were angled towards Talonpaw and the cats he stood with, noticing them momentarily grouped together in an area that was, at least for the moment, free of rogues. Every cat was bleeding even slightly, but Bluebird knew better than to assume a small injury couldn't turn into something nearly fatal. Leafstorm | Female | ShadowClan Warrior Mentions: Boulder, Rogues Claws scored across the tabby she-cat's neck, causing her to stumble backwards ungracefully. She hadn't been expecting such a brutal blow, and she inwardly cursed. She had to quit letting herself be caught off guard. Leafstorm couldn't help but feel rather pleased when she caught a glimpse of Boulder only moments before. She had admittedly been curious of how he would react in the midst of these invaders, considering he had once been one of them. He proved himself trustworthy, as Leafstorm watched him treat his former colleague as a rightful clan cat should; as nothing more than an enemy. Turning her attention back to the feral, she lunged forward with the intention of pinning her opponent, and was grateful when her attack went smoothly and the rogue fell backwards, hissing in outrage as he ended up stuck in her grasp. Rage flashed within her and without much thought, she shot her neck forward like a snake striking it's prey and lodged her fangs in his throat. The familiar tang of salt greeted her senses, quite quickly pulling her back to reality, Don't kill. She flung her head back, and with it came small flecks of scarlet. Blood stained the bottom of her muzzle as she snarled down at the now terrified and bleeding rogue, "Leave now, or prepare to be skinned and made into a rug for my den!" That certainly didn't go over well with the rogue, who jumped up and sped away the second the spotted tabby released her hold of him even slightly. She watched him go with smoldering green eyes, becoming aware of how quiet the forest around her was now growing. The rogues were being defeated. 0 players like this post! Like? ~Condorpaw~M~Apprentice~Shadowclan~ I nodded at my instructions, before Shadestorm launched into the battle. I fell back to be by the two cats sides. I ignored Bluebird, probably something I shouldn't get in the habit of with older cats, as we walked into Thunderclan territory. It smelt and felt weird. It smelt of dried leaves and no wet reeds or mud. It made me even more worried to be on a different clan's territory. This is against the code.. I thought, but quickly pushed it away. They'll understand. I remarked, both about Thunderclan and Starclan. I was pulled from my thoughts as a bleeding tom came fleeing toward Hazlepaw. I launched at him, knocking him to the side and giving him a few blows to the face. His blood splattering, and soaking my paws. He backed away, and ran. He had no intention of fighting in him still. I didn't have time to think about it much, as I spun around and hurried over to Hazlepaw and Bluebird. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Talonpaw || 8 Moons || Apprentice || Tom || Thunderclan || Mentions: Timberpaw, Bluebird He saw the big cat approach them, but by the time the tom had gotten to their small gathering, Talonpaw had bounded through the undergrowth. He burst out headfirst and stopped beside Timberpaw, nudging the fellow apprentice. "Come on, don't just lie there, we gotta get back!" he hissed, the concern he was feeling for the cat he had shared dens with affecting him. "Timberpaw, wake up!" He nudged him, licking his fur and cleaning away dirt and grime. "Come on, we're not playing! Cats are damaged, it's serious!" he squealed. He cast a glance around himself; blood was splattered on the ground several places, small dark spots in the now kicked-up grass. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Fernpaw Ω She-cat Ω Apprentice Ω Mentions: Talonpaw, Bluebird and Vultureflight. Fernpaw gazed after the she-cat, her heart pounding. Then she turned around and gave Talonpaw a swift lick on the cheek. "I'm fine, thanks." She purred, although her wounds stung and burned like fire. She spun around and bared her teeth, hackles raised, when she heard someone coming through the undergrowth. She relaxed and straightened herself again when she saw that it was only Vultureflight. She nodded. "Yeah, I'm alright. You Talonpaw?" But before she could finish her sentence, Talonpaw had shot away. She flicked an ear before an image of her brother appeared in her mind. "Timberpaw." She whispered. She gave Vultureflight a worried glance before racing after the grey apprentice. Fernpaw skidded to halt beside the limp body of Timberpaw. She nudged him, fear rising up inside her. "Help!" She shrieked when Timberpaw wouldn't wake up. She spun around, looking for a warrior. Her eyes landed on the Shadowclan medicine cat. "Bluebird!" She yowled, sprinting up to him. "Please help my brother. He's wounded and he won't wake up!" She mewed urgently, looking back towards Talonpaw who was still trying to nudge her brother awake. Before Bluebird could answer, she bounded back towards the two apprentices. Wingshade Ω She-cat Ω Deputy Ω Mentions: Nightstripe, Cloudstar and Bluebird. Wingshade flicked an ear when she felt someone's gaze boring into her back. She slowly turned around to see Nightstripe staring at her. She shook her head and sat down. "I know what you're thinking, young one." She murmured, gazing down at the bloody body. "But this cat did not live by the warrior code, and she was a big threat to the clans along with her fellow rogues." She mewed with a sigh. "Sometimes, we have to challenge the warrior code to do what is best for the clan." She murmured before standing up and shaking her fur. "Come on, let's get back to camp." She mewed, stalking past the mottled she-cat. The thought of returning back to camp and having to have to tell her cats that Hawkstar was dead, filled her with dread. She nodded to Cloudstar as she gathered her warriors with a flick of her tail. "Is anyone wounded?" She yowled, her eyes scanning the clearing. Then she saw Fernpaw talking urgently to Bluebird, the Shadowclan medicine cat, before bounding back to Timberpaw, who lay on the ground. "No." Wingshade's single mew dropped like a stone into the hushed forest. She sprinted towards them and skidded to halt beside Talonpaw. She was no medicine cat, but she knew whether a cat was alive or not, and if a cat's state was dangerous. She placed her paw on his flank, and fear filled up inside her. He was barely breathing. His breathing coming in short, shallow gasps. "He's growing weaker." She growled in frustration. Where was Goldleaf when they needed him? Timberpaw's wounds were fatal. "Bluebird!" She yowled, trying to keep her fear under control. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Talonpaw || Tom || 8 Moons || Apprentice || Thunderclan || Mentions: Fernpaw, Bluebird, Timberpaw, Wingshade He looked questioning at Fernpaw as she meowed for Bluebird, and realized it must be the cat who had approached them just as he was dashing away to Timberpaw. He didn't get time to ask, though, because just then Wingshade appeared beside him. He moved away a little to give her more space, standing closer to Fernpaw instead. "Can we help in any way?" He gasped to Wingshade, feeling his hairs standing out and his body growing cold at her words. He shouldn't even have been here! he thought desperately. It could have been prevented! 0 players like this post! Like? |

Talonpaw || 8 Moons || Tom || Apprentice || Thunderclan "It's okay," he meowed, twitching his ear but not minding his mentor's sudden show of a more caring side. "You'd probably go back to doing what you used to do," he said, trying to keep a lighter tone. But his voice shook, and memories of sharp teeth piercing him, claws and paws batting at him and bushes being bushed aside behind him still haunted him. Then they were all pushed aside as Vultureflight's presence behind him vanished as he uttered a loud cry. Talonpaw spun around and saw his mentor leap over to a cat lying on the ground, blood colouring the dirt around him red. It was Buzzardtail! Casting a last glance behind himself at Fernpaw, Timberpaw, Wingshade and Nightstripe, he bounded over to Vultureflight and his brother, staring at the snowshoe tom lying limply on the ground with wide eyes. Vultureflight was hastily plastering cobwebs over some of the worse wounds, and Talonpaw nearly had to look away. It looked painful. He crouched down and attempted at cleaning Buzzardtail, hoping it would help some, at least. 0 players like this post! Like? |
