"Yes--she'd be perfect for them too. Looks to be about 3 weeks now. If implanted now, she'll grow into them and be fully mobile by a year." She paused for a moment, deep in thought, before his other comment caught her attention. "Yes, it seems they have. That took all of 5 minutes. I like this group." She grinned.

Jix--
"Pattern, pattern. What's the pattern? First, avoided Hex and Toby, then Zulu and Aurora. Then those two wolves acted dead." He looked at the cage next to them, were Rocky and Jade were on the ground whimpering. "Ah! The rats want a challenge--they're programmed to avoid the weak!" He coughed, whining, before falling to the ground.

"And--that's all." She pressed a series of buttons with her paw to let the humans know which cages came first. The two dogs and the one with the pup were default, the first ones to actually figure out the problem were the red wolf and the grey she-wolf.

The poodle smiled. "This will be perfect my dear sister." He said his black wings folding out to stretch.

Iris-

The wolf smiled and did the same as the other one in the cage.

Hex and Toby-

Toby woke up yawning. "What happened?" He asked Hex who just rolled her eyes at the greyhound. "Oh nothing just rat infested cages." She snapped. Toby nodded and went back to sleep.

Marco-

The wolf smiled to herself and watched Irea.

Irae-
The red wolf wagged his tail as the rats slowly cleared out of the room, driven by some force unseen and heard to the dogs.
The cage doors opened with a cling, and two poodles strode into the room. The snow-white one from before, and yet another one, nearly identical except for his dark brown fur and black wings.

Jix-
"So. What is it exactly that you hope to gain from us and these trials?" The brown dog strode up to the two poodles. The female, Lilith, fluttered her wings. "Follow us and we can answer your questions." They continued down the hallway to a now-open door.
Beyond the door was a large, open room, where the poodles immediately sat atop two chairs and gazed down at the canids as they slowly filed into the room.

Belle-
"Well, what is it now? Why have you brought us here?" The doberman didn't like that she was being forced to look up to these two fluff-dogs. She didn't like it one bit, the dominant dog that she was.

Kaaos-
The dark-furred wolf patiently sat. He may have looked calm, but he was listening. Listening for signs of weaknesses to exploit in the other canines. His lip curles at the dog Alpha's boisterous charge. Too headstrong and sure of herself.

Zulu-
The she-dog carried her adopted pup by the scruff of her neck into the new room. She worried a bit about where they were going to find food here, as Aura was already unhealthily skinny.

The brown poodle looked at his sister. "I can take the pup for some food we do want her to live sister." he barks in his fabulous Britsh, French accent. The poodle watched the pup thinking about slapping some wings on her. "Oh how rude of me. I'm Oliver and sister you say the rest I'm terrible and excplaining things." He adds a small doggy grin on his face.

Jade-
The wolf alpha followed uneasily walking over to her beta to make sure he was alright and then did the same to the rest of her pack sniffing them secretly not saying a word. She didn't trust these Dogs they looked to tame and perfect for her taste.

Rocky-

The snow dog almost running out of his cage followed the poodles. "Zulu." He barked happy to see his pack mate in good health. "She still looks beautiful." He whispered sighltently.

Marco-

The wolf stayed close to Irea so close there fur was almost touching. When Jade walked by and looked at them confused and a hint of disgust. Marco watched the poodles shrinking low to the ground they seemed powerful so she did what came natural to her.

Iris-

The wolf walked out of her cage and smiled slightly at Jix. "Thanks mutt." She whispered before following the poodles they seemed weak but stronge they were not the kind of breed you would see in the wild. Iris tried to remember what they where called "poodle." She whispered from her observing of dogs since she was a young dog she was told they were some of the smartest dogs ever and if these dogs were givin powers they most lickely were much smarter then the likes of her pack and the dogs.

Toby-

The grey greyhound followed with ease standing over most of the other dogs due to his height. The greyhound stayed in the shadows of the room as if trying to stay hidden as he watched these purbreeds speek to them as if they hadn't just been locked away by them.

Hex-

The small dog bounded up to Jix almost hugging him like one would do to a brother. "Jix I was so worried." She whispered looking up at the brown poodle as it spoke to them. "Why are we here?" She asked even though the poodle said his sister would answer she couldn't help herself.

Jix-
"I don't know." His eyes were narrowed and fixed on the poodles.

Lilith-
With a small smile across her muzzle, she spoke.
"You, my fine dogs and wolves, are one of the few chosen to be the defenders of mankind. You will be...upgraded on the genetic level and subjected to a series of tests that will narrow it down until only two of you remain. Your DNA will be combined to create a canine not unlike my brother and I here, with our own advancements. You will take part in the creation of whole new breed, ulrimately contributing to the breed that will fight alongside my kind in war." She paused for a moment, her color-transcendant eyes raking the gathered canines. "Of course, you will be rewarded for your efforts with freedom. Make no mistake, however--any cani purposefully trying to fail a trial in hopes of release will be exterminated. You will see the sky soon enough. Besides--you'll like it here."

Lover nodded with his sister walking around the dogs with a smile as he looked them up and down since he liked to bet on which dogs or wolves would make it to the finals.

Lilith-
"Now, as it seems, there was one group that figured out the rat trick before anyone else. The way this works is if you come in first on a trial, you will be upgraded. Will you." She made eye contact with Marco and Irae. "Follow me through this door, please. The rest of you will remain here and wait for the next trial to begin." Without missing a beat, Lilith trotted over to a dog door that unlovked with a 'click' as she neared.

Irae-
He let out a breath and followed after the strange winged dog.

Oliver-

"There is food on that table eat what you can. I want to see this." Oliver says with a grim. "Also don't worry they will most likely survive." Oliver says a little smirk on his muzzle as he followed his sister.

Marco-

The timber wolf walked next to Irea as she held her head high as she walked past Jade and Kaaos as if making fun of them for her winning the challenge. "I won't be an omega for long." She almost spat at Jade.

Jade-

The wolf let out a small growl. "You won't be if you survive Marco." Jade whispers which was the first time she had ever called Marco by her real name since she became and omega.

Z & A-
"Lets get you something to eat." The she-dog grabbed a piece of meat from the table, which contained mostly slightly cooked meats, and took the pup to settle down near Belle and Rocky. Belle already had selected a small, rodent-looking creature, one of the few raw things on the table.

Jix-
Cautiosly grabbing a hunk of flesh from the table, he begrudgingly brought it over to Iris. "Thanks for...not freaking out in the cage and getting us killed or anything." He shuffled his paws, ears flicked back, before grabbing a skinned rabbit to split with Hex.

Kaaos-
The wolf wasn't actually hungry for once, but still wanted to taste one of the strange things on the table. Kaaos bit into a piece of cowmeat that smelled like herbs, and was pleasantly surprised by the variety of tastes.

Jade-

Jade watched Irea walk away and then left to the table and got some strange meat that tasted like dear but tastier.

Hex & Iris-

Iris blushed slightly at Jix and smiled taking the food. "Thanks for putting up with me." She whispered sitting down and eating the food. Hex smiled looking up at Jix "thanks Jix." She barked wagging her stubby tail.

Rocky-

The snow dog smiled at Zulu watching her. 'Gosh that Zulu is just beautiful gosh I love her.' He thought to himself sighing as he left to get some food grabbing chicken meat from the table and chewing on it.

Toby-

The greyhound watched from the shadows not daring to move any loser to the food for some reason he felt uncomfortable around the others and then he stpotted the wolf from before that had stollen his food. Fire burned in the greyhounds body as he laid down to keep himself from jumping at the dog.

Marco-

After the stuff happened (in which you told me just not quite sure what to say) Marco felt a sudden pain and everything went black.

"Y' welcome." He said to his friend, smiling like a goofy idiot. He silently chastised himself, brushing the smile off his muzzle. He hated this wolf. Hated her. He couldn't be happy that she'd said thank you. Its not like he felt something for her...

Irae-
The wolf awoke next to Marco in a strange, bare room. He felt weird, from his skin to his stomach, it all felt hard and still. He stood shakily to his feet, shaking out his fur.

The she wolf ate alone she would usually eat with her fellow hunters but had no one at this point. So she thought to herself about the dog that she had been trapped with and then about her pack mates who could be dying right now or already dead. "What if there dead." She said out loud to anyone that maybe listening.

Marco-

The wolf stayed unmoving her fur on edge she felt waves of power moving through her but she could not get up or open her eyes. Was she dead? This could not be what death felt like.' She thought trying to listen for Irea. Hoping he was not dead then started to wonder what did they do to me? She asks her self trying to force her eyes open but with no avail.

Hex-

Hex laughed at Jix. "Your so weird Jix." Hex said laughing to herself. "Hey we should win the next chanllange I wonder how they are doing." She said not really talking to Jix but more to herself.

Irae-
"Marco? Marco!" He began to panic, nosing her still body. He placed a paw on her, shaking her slightly. "Marco?" He whispered.

Aurora-
The small pup walked over to Iris after eating her fill, her legs still a bit wobbly.
"The wolves will be all right. I know that. The nice poodle told us so. And they weren't acting like a cani about to die. They had their heads held high. When my mommy died, her head was low. When my sisters died, they didn't hold their heads up at all. So they're going to be okay." She reguarded Iris with a puzzled expression. "I know you, right? My name's Aurora."
Her guardian walked over to them. After seeing the pup's acceptance of Iris, she sat down next to them. "Zulu." She barked a brief greeting.

Iris-
The wolf smiled at the pup. "It's nice to meet you Aurora. I'm Iris." She barked softly bowing her head with a grin she liked this pup she seemed strong. "Take care of this pup Zulu is it she seems like a hardy breed then all of us." Iris said giving a quick grin to the pup before walking away.


Marco-

The wolfs eyes flew open as she jumped in the air sending a small shock through her body as she almost fell back to the ground. "Irea?" She asked looking at the wolf a small smile appearing on her face her eyes that where once a dark green color was now a electric blue with a few highlights of that same color on her fur. "What happened?" She asked looking at him trying to see if anything had happened to him.

"I don't know. We're in here now." He Noted the changes in her appearance. "Marco. Your fur." Choosing to ignore the changes that he now felt, he scanned the room on the search for the way out.

Zulu-
She dipped her head to the wolf. Aurora looked up at her and wagged her tail, her tongue lolling out of her mouth.
