Kamaria rolled her eyes. "Because the one who decides who joins the Guard, the King, is my father. Even if he would agree to it, my mother probably won't, and we all know that the only one in the Pride with more power than the King, is his wife." She gave a sigh, punctuated by a pouting sneer. Njau stepped off of the rocks, walking away from the rest of the group. "I believe, your Highness, that I shall be taking that walk now... If you'll excuse me." He walked toward the east border, which led into the distant desert and so was dry and covered in a mix of sand and sharp, dead shrubs.

Kamaria jabbed a paw at Izzikumba with a wink, pointing toward the massive male as he lumbered off, leaving behind paw prints the size of most lions' heads.

He smirked and padded forward, following the male. But before, he turned around to face Kamaria. -You comin'? this could be interesting- He questioned, waiting for an answer. He probably wouldnt dare to go on his own, since his shyness could probably make him get a heart attack the minute the male would look at him.

Kamaria padded silently after her friend, but kept a distance. "This is your mission, bro. I'll just be supporting you from back here." She snickered quietly, letting Izzi take the lead.

Njau, meanwhile, was just getting to the borderline, and he lifted his head as high as he could to see off into the distance. He couldn't see any other lions so far, just a couple of rhinos. Damn... He was hoping for a fight.

Fonso licked his muzzle, tasting some of the blood left on his mouth and started to lick his paws. "Everything seems so slow today- and I can't seem to find Kiarkiu so that means trouble." He chuckled, getting up and stretching his muscles and seeing the cub come over to Nia and laughed when he growled at her when she tried to put in back in place. Fonso started to walk back to his tree and placed his roots in a hidden branch, filled with herbs. 'I need more of these-and those, I'm running out of a lot of things.' Fonso jumped out of the tree, landing on his feet carefully and walked out to the edge of the territory to search for some herbs since they were more in frequency out of the pridelands.

Makusudi-Female

Makusudi sighed and, bored, got up to all fours, deciding that, if she had nothing to do, she might as well hunt. She bounded down the rock and headed onto the savanna, licking her chops and flicking her tail idly. Soon the familiar scent of a zebra came to her nose and she turned, following the scent until, in the heat, she saw a herd of the black and white beasts, grazing unaware. She crouched and slowly crept towards them, but it would be harder considering she didn't have any other lionesses to help her. Oh well, she could manage. As she crept forward, she locked her eyes on a target. Then, she sprung out from hiding, the chase was on! The zebras bolted, but she, keeping her eyes locked on her target, followed the one she had targeted. Luckily for her, she had managed to keep on the beasts heels and, pushing up on her front then hind legs, leapt, landing on it's hindquarters. Though the zebra kicked her, Maku held on and finally was able to drag it down, pinning it. When it was on the ground, she quickly locked her jaws on it's throat and, pressing down hard, suffocated it, killing it. She smiled with pride at her kill and, grabbing a hold of the leg, dragged it back to camp, setting it in the prey area when she arrived.

The brown eagle lifted his snowy white head, parting his beak open in a yawn. He quickly hopped to his feet, for he had been laying down, and flapped his wings, lifting his form into the air. Once he was in the air, he dived, heading towards Thakur.

Thakur had let Danso join the pride after what had happened to his sister and soon the African eagle was appointed Majordomo, considering he could not serve any other rank.

When he reached the ground where Thakur stood, he landed, his talons making a 'clk' sound on the stony floor. "Good morning your Highness" he said with a bow, reaching his head down and back, nuzzling his feathers. "How's the day going? And what do you want me to do?" he asked, stretching his wings out then retreating them to his sides. He looked around, //now where is Kamari and Motsumi ?// he wondered, for they were his charges as well. He returned his attention to the King, waiting for his response to his (1...2...) 3 questions.

Karie bounded about watching for danger, which fer her was everything. Playing with a desert butterfly,she batted at it as it flew in the air. She was unsupervised but didnt care, none of there lions were her mother anyway. But thinking this made her heart convulse painfully at the thought of her mother. She stopped, and looked down at her white fur, cursing it, and her mother who had the genes that made her this way. She sighed, cursing in her head wouldn't help anything, she layed her head in her paws and fell asleep int the sunlight.

Izzi let out a chuckled and walked further, hoping to reach the lion. He kind of started to shake as he got closer to his side. ((Flufftextahead)) The breeze ruffled the begginings of his mane and made it shake along the wind. His heart pounding faster for no reason, he looked back to see if Kamaria still followed him. After making sure she did, he took a faster step until he reached for the older lion, until he was almost at his side. He stopped just behind him, hoping that he would notice his pressence (he was too shy to call for his attention). "Damn, Kam. Help me out here!" He tought, hoping that his friend would get the message.

Kamaria hid her silver pelt as well as she could, leaning nonchalantly against an acacia tree, careful to avoid the sharp thorns and branches around her. She watched her friend, grinning. "Come on, Izz... man up... say something!" She sent him a hard stare, trying to send her thoughts to him in return.

Njau flicked an ear, making his mane rustle slightly with the movement. A slight shift in the breeze sent the other lion's scent right to his nose. "Ah, Izzikumba. Did you wish to speak to me about something?" He hadn't turned to look at the other, much smaller and younger male. His deep crimson eyes stared forward into the distance, as if trying to summon an enemy out of the heat waves.

Khumba gave a step forward. -U-Uhm...yeah! I was wondering if...if...- He freezed the moment he turned down to look at Njau's well formed muscles, he lost his mind for a few seconds. He was hipnotized, probably not noticing that he was just standing there, blushing madly while looking at the older male.
