She was orphaned at birth from her mother passing at birth and her father being shot by a peacekeeper, since then she's been tossed around from family to family most can't support her for more than a year. She is essentially given all that she needs to survive and much more. Her luxurious life in the capitol seems to be perfect until one day she gets robbed. Instead of calling for help, she rushes after the thieves but they assault her before she can confront them. They are two individuals from the districts: Serena, from district 8, and Cato, from district 2. She bargains with them and eventually convinces Cato to release her. We can have them take her back to the district and Sora can see what is truly going on in the districts and feel pretty bad about the way she has been living. We can allow them to all get to know each other better and we can have them all be summoned into the games. Sora is scared for her friends going into the arena so she becomes the first ever person from the capitol to enter. What will happen? Will any of them make it out? Sora Fox - 14 Sora started thinking about weapons she would use in the games. "We'll need to try to get me either a sword or a dagger if I'm gonna be able to fight" she mumbled. "I wouldn't mind a bow, since I took lessons when I was 10, but my aim might be a little off..." she trailed off as she continued thinking. "I can set traps for people and animals since my dad took me hunting in the forest when I was 7, and he taught me how to set a snare... Huh. "All men are useless," Cato commented, "Except for me of course." He held a genuine smirk upon his lips. "And Serena is good with a bow. Best I've ever seen actually." Rumors were passed around about what happened there. Some said that's where the children learned to hate the Districts. Others thought its where they trained their Peacekeepers. Sora Fox - 14 "Well, at school there are teachers that teach kids stuff like math and other subjects" Sora began explaining. "Everyone knows math is the only thing you have to know when you're older, though" she said with a smile. No one payed attention in any other subjects except math, except everyone resented math. "Some teachers are really strict though, and set many classroom rules" Sora said as she thought about her math teacher. Maple Maple's tie on the train was short and sweet, she spent most of her time after the first meal sitting in her room evaluating her competitors. Aster had tried to talk to her about allying but Maple made it clear, she was her own ally and would accept no one else. Maple often refused to come out for meals and got her food hand delivered by an avox to her. District nine's coaches were two old as dirt people who hardly showed any interest in anything except their meals. "Sora Fox!" The bubbly lady on the T.V. yelled. The name rung through the silent capitol and hung in the air. Maple stretched and stared at the screen, watching the blond capitol girl hurry up onto the stage. The capitol girl would have loads of sponsors of course, assuming she lasted through the first night. "Maple dah-ling we're here!" Aqua squealed from outside Maple's compartment. Maple dragged her feet as she left the room purposely leaving her T.V. on to annoy Aqua. The mocking jay whistle made her freeze and Maple glanced back over at the Television. A different, pretty blond girl was on the district 8 stage. Maple pried her eyes away from the screen and walked out of the door of her compartment to Aqua. She was led into the capitol. Aqua dragged Aster with one hand and Maple with the other past the bright capitol buildings into the place they'd be staying. Aqua pushed, quiet rudely, Maple and Aster into the elevator and then joined them. Maple stared at her feet and didn't speak for the entire elevator trip. Aqua led her and Aster to separate rooms. "Training tomorrow at 9 o' clock! Don't be late!" She spat to both of them. "Your seamstresses have already created outfits for you two, top draw on the left of your wardrobe!" Aqua clomped down the hall in obnoxious high heels. "Come to dinner in fifteen minutes, and find something better to wear!" She said as the elevator doors opened, then she was gone. "I know you've already said no but..." Aster started. "I AM NOT ALLYING WITH YOU I WORK ALONE! LEAVE ME ALONE FOR ONCE!" Maple whisper shouted. Aster glared back at Maple reproachfully. "JUST WAIT UNTIL THE GAMES! YOU'LL BE BEGGING FOR AN ALLY BY THAT TIME!" He yelled back, then he turned around and slammed the door of his room behind him. Maple went into her compartment, changed into a pretty green dress with a white sash, then watched the clock until it was time for dinner. 0 players like this post! "Huh," Cato said looking down, "We didn't have that stuff. We were trained for our jobs." His eyes hardened slightly as he kept his eyes on the ground. "I was supposed to start training to be a Peacekeeper," he added quietly with a hint of shame in his voice. It was a new thing for District 2 that the Capitol wanted to test out. Most of his District was loyal to the Capitol and so they were rewarded and given better living quality. They chose the strongest and the fastest of the younger children to begin training and Cato had been one of them. But he saw the evil that the Peacekeepers could accomplish and he wanted no part in it. 0 players like this post! Like? |

If Katsu's father stopped killing innocent District people, then Katsu would start training to be a Peacekeeper" Sora mumbled, remembering when Katsu had told her the deal. *Flashback* "You what!?" Sora had yelled at Katsu. "Katsu, you're such an idiot! Your father won't won't keep up his end of the deal and you know it!" she had yelled. Katsu had just stood there, letting her yell at him, then he began yelling back. "You and I both know how badly he wants me to follow in his footsteps!" Katsu had yelled. "I know he'll keep up his end of the deal, and then I'll keep up my end!" After that, Sora and Katsu didn't speak to each other for a couple days... *End of Flashback* (I love doing flashbacks, since it builds the pasts of my characters) 0 players like this post! Like? |

(Lol i enjoy reading them!) Cato shook his head as he got up. "I wouldn't trust him. Even if he was my father." He had heard the training to be a peacekeeper essentially hammered the humanity out of you. You didnt feel for the people you were beating anymore. They didnt really even see them as people.
