((as a note, I"m kinda new here, so I generally am refering to any method of selling items... be it trades OR branches or any other method I'm not yet aware of)) Let's say I have a lot of a single item--for example, Elephant calves. And I want to sell them. Obviously, I could set up lots of trades--maybe one group of 10, two groups of 5, five groups of 1 and micromanage them as people buy out my trades. But wouldn't it be easier if I could set up a type of trade where I can select, say, 25 of my 30 Elephant Calves, but them in a trade and set a price per item, and then allow users to come and buy as many as they would like. Easier for the user, easier for me, who only has to set up one trade, rather than try to guess what trade size people will want to buy, canceling trades, and reposting them etc etc etc. Bonus points if I can edit my trade later, to add more elephants to it :) |

Yes, full support! This is such a good idea! Would it only be if it was the same item. Like, for example, if you had a bunch of carcasses, but some had 2 uses and some had 6 uses and some were small carcasses and some were large, would you still be able do set each individual item a price? ![]() |

I feel this would be better to modify a branch to do this. Just thinking in terms of being less messy and simpler to code. For example it would be a piece of cake to put 20 zebra carcass' on my branch and them all to stack and then a user can select 'Buy X amount' from a little drop down menu. ![]() |

Thank you! Well, in my opinion, I would only allow carcasses of a single type -- elephant calves, or buffalos, or what have you... but then there WOULD be a problem if some were half eaten.. hmm... Another decent option there might be to go off of number of uses for food items -- but then, some foods fill you up more than others.... You COULD divide it into 'large foods' and 'small foods' and pay per 'number of uses'... ...though then yo'd have a problem if you'd have 2 carcasses with 6 uses, and someone wants to buy 9 uses, but I guess the game could just leave you with a half-eaten carcass.. Actually that might be a nice way of doing that? The carcasses are converted into numbers of uses, and the buyer recieves carcasses with uses equal to what they buy? Like.. I put in 6 buffalo with 2 uses each. That's 12 uses... Buyer buys 10 uses, and gets 2 buffalos, one with 6 uses, one with 4. Gah, that gets complicated though... On the other hand, it could be used also to jsut ensure that the buyer isn't going to get food that expires at rollover (by ensuring that everything rots in 5 days.) ... though that could be used to keep carcasses "alive" far past their expiration date... but I"m not sure how much of a problem that is considered to be? I dunno, it might just be easier to only allow full and unnibbled upon carcasses. :) ![]() |

It would also be a nifty way to modify a branch, I agree 100% (personally, I'm still new here and I do not yet know why one choses to use one trade system over another -- there is a reason I'm sure but I've yet to figure it out. :) ) ![]() |

I voted no support, sorry :c I think it's a better idea for branches. For me, trades are a one-time bulk thing, for whenyou'd like to sell a whole lot at once. Branch is for when you'd like to buy singular items. ![]() |

I think this is especially helpful because of all the people who complain when someone floods the trade center with a ton of individual trades for the same items, like broken drones, SB for GB, etc. ![]() |
