We are slowly making lioden more dynamic and alive, so why not get broodmother protection messages? The broodmother protects the cub/s from other lions, hyenas, large prey animals, environmental hazards ect. Or takes them on walks, teaches them new skills, spends the day cuddling them, things a nanny should do.

As a reward for being a good protector she could get an experience boost added to the normal experience gain, or a max of 5stats depending on what she did. The cubs on the other hand could gain +1st based on the adventure, if it was dangerous for them maybe a scar instead.

What's really cool about this is the fact it can all be based on interaction of the lions personalities, an adventurous or loner cub with a lazy or unreliable broodmother would have more chance at a scar because they are more likely to get minor injuries, where as an adventurous cub with a focused or spontaneous broodmother would be more likely to get a stat because she is more likely to teach the cubs
