So in the ember speckles thread I came up with and idea that a base could go along with the markings. So basically the base would be a really dark brown or black (not as dark as onyx, but not as light as the black base) anyway so where ever there are highlights on the lion, there would be firery colors like Crimson, a burntish orange, and a goldish yellow. Those colors wouldn't be blended in though, it's more like a stippling style. ( I can see it in my head but I can't type it out :P)

I think a good name for it would be like Coal or Firewood since the lion would look bit like burning coal or wood, and it could go along with a winter event or a summer event like for bonfires or forest fires. So yeah I'm just going out on a limb and if any of you would like to draw it go for it :)
