Flora: "Yeah. I used to be a 'kitty-pet', or a companion to some humans. Before that I was abandoned as a kit and put in a pound, so. I never really have been around cats. I've only been wandering for a couple weeks. And I must say, I can hunt pretty good for a pet," she purred. Flora blinked and fluffed up her neck fur while perking her ears to Treebark. Flora: She shrugged and glanced over to Dapplestar before slinking out of the camp after Treebark. Flora kept her head and tail low, pupils in slits and ears right up. She looked up ahead of her and Treebark and suddenly heard from rummaging in the bushes ahead. She looked to Treebark and grinned, wanting to impress him. Lowering herself down into a stalking position, Flora grazed past Treebark, grazing his side with hers. Her white belly fur barely touched the ground as she crept forward, and her hind legs were perfectly angled as she took careful steps. Ears flat against her head and eyes pinned on the body of a hare just through the thick bush in front of her, Flora stopped, and raised a paw. Her tail began to rise and she looked as still as a tree. Suddenly, the hare looked up, raising its ears, and with a sudden commotion Flora leapt up into the air in a massive pounce and came plummeting down on the hare, digging her unsheathed claws in the soft spots of its under arms and gripping her jaws around its neck. Flora's tail lashed out as she killed the hare, and she smiled to herself, knowing she did good. The calico stood up with the small hare in her jaws and she looked to Treebark, swiveling her ears. "You're turn," she mumbled through the fur of the hare. Despite her strange hunting tactic, it was proven to be effective. She learned this by carefully watching a fox hunt on her first day of being feral. She had practiced the pounce every day. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Treebark smirked and nodded. He was quite the good hunter himself to. He sniffed the air before scenting a squirrel. He lowered himself to the ground, careful not to make any noise. He stalked up as close as he could to the squirrel before tensing his muscles. He pounced in the air, barley making a sound. The squirrel didn't notice him until he was right above it. He landed his front paws- claws unsheathed- on the squirrel's back and bit into it's neck. The squirrel was dead within seconds. He turned around with the squirrel in his jaws and smiled at her. Since Spider is one of the older siblings and left as a paw, would Dew and his siblings even know that he existed?) A tannish tabby cat roamed around Minnowclan's territory. His scent was always scented in the territory, but he was often not found. Blue eyes shimmered as he looked around, licking his lips. "Ah." (Yeah, but he knew of them as he stalked the clan for a couple moons after he left, and that omg..lemme just...that was entertaining XD) Spider hummed quietly to himself and he padded closer to the stream, crouching down to lap up some of the icy cold water. Taking a few paw steps away from the stream, he looked at the spider on his should and sniffed at it "You ok buddy?" he murmured, but obviously received no response as the spider hid itself further into his fluff SilverRipple padded out of the warrior den streching and fluffing up her fur against the cold wind. She glanced back into the warriors den wondering who wasn't out on patrol. Spotting StarryNight she called to him softly, "Starrynight!", she backed her head out hoping he would come out and be in the mood to join her to go hunting.
