[Kill] (karma) (get: -5% hunger) You kill the foal, but there’s barely any food for you. Neutral A stranded wildebeest calf is trying to find its herd after a stampede. [Follow] (karma) You follow the foal, hoping it’d die eventually. chance% - get: -5% hunger When it finally died, you ate the remains. chance% - get: +2 SB You got tired of walking and took a nap crowned by two beetles. Evil You found an area covered with termite mounds! [Dig] (karma) You spend some time digging the mounds and bringing devastation to the little colonies. Cruel! [Climb] (karma) (get: 5 EXP) You decide to hop on one of the flatter mounds and gain a nice vantage point to spot interesting things above the tall grass. Any You spot a line of elephants in the distance. You stumble upon an Aardvark trying to open a termite mound. [Eat it] (karma) (get: +20% hunger) You catch and devour the creature. Yum. [Help digging] (karma) (get: 2SB)Aardvark watches you destroy the mound and happily eats panicking termites. You find a few beetles hidden in there as well! As you pass an acacia tree, a Zorilla emerges from a burrow. [Kill it] (karma) (get: Zorilla carcass, get: 5 SB) Polecat jumps back into the hole but after some dirt diving you manage to break its neck. [Push it back in] (karma) (get: EXP)You shove the polecat back into the hole. It pops out from another! You play a little whack-a-zorilla until it just stops showing up. [Give it beetles] (karma) (get: -5 SB, get: Small bird carcass) You share some of your beetles with the polecat. It noms thankfully and exchanges gifts! You hear a loud honking call and notice a Ground Hornbill looking for a mate. [Ambush!] (karma) (get: Hornbill feather, get: Hornbill skull, get: -5% hunger) You crouch in tall grass and when the bird passes you, you leap and kill it! Not much to eat tho. [Watch] (karma) (get: Hornbill feather) You watch behind a patch of grass as the majestic bird flies up to acacia tree nearby to start building a nest. Lucky for you, it drops a feather. [Honk!] (karma) (get: Hornbill feather) You mimic the sound, curious bird approaches you and suddenly screams in shock seeing a lion face! It flies away, dropping a feather. A tiny golden Bunting passes you with a spider in its beak. [wet only] A Black Stork wanders dampy grasslands looking for frogs. SEARCH - SHRUBLAND Good Very large Dama Gazelle is trying to find some water. [Lead] (karma) (get: +1% impression) You move to a spot to roar from, so gazelle would run away towards nearest waterhole. [Pounce] (karma) (get: Dama Gazelle Carcass) You decide to ambush the weak animal! Neutral A family of Warthogs is roaming this valley. [Bring Mayhem] (karma) (get: 3x Warthog Carcass) Filthy pigs shall perish under your lion paws! [Pursue] (karma) (get: 100 EXP) You patiently stalk the warthogs learning some nice hiding spots. Evil You find a roaming African Wild Dog, barking from time to time like it was separated from its pack. [Chase] (karma) (get: +1% impression) You will not tolerate those primitive animals on these lands! You run after the dog, killing it when you finally catch it. [Roar] (karma) (get: Turtle Eggs) You let out a fearsome roar, scaring the intruder away from these lands. You notice a little treasure the dog was trying to eat. Any A Magpie Shrike sat on a nearby shrub. [Pounce] (karma) You jump at the shrub, scaring the bird away! [Frolic] (karma) You paw at the shrub, playing with the chattering bird for a while. Fuzzy Aardwolf stares at you, standing its ground. [Frolic] (karma) (get: 10 SB) You mimic its every move, until aardwolf starts to giggle and shares its lunch. [Attack!] (karma) (get: aardwolf tail) If only all opponents were so easy to kill. Huge bird struts proudly through the Shrubland, presenting feathers. [Chase!] (karma) (get: EXP) You chase the ostrich through the grasslands, but the bird is fast as lightning. Though tired, you feel faster than ever. [Fluff mane] (karma) (get: +1% impression) You mimic proud strut, being all magnificent. Ostrich pinches you on ear and runs away. Bawww. [Sniff air] (karma) (get: Ostrich egg) You catch the scent of huge tasty eggs in nearby nest. Yum. A small Dik Dik tries to hide in the bush before you. You’re just too good to not notice. [Looks yummy] (karma) (get: Dik Dik carcass) You pounce onto the bush and kill the antelope. [Pretend you didn’t see] (karma)You walk away, you weren’t hungry anyway. Startled Sugarbird leaves a flowery bush, making a vibrating sound. [wet only] A Yellow billed stork wanders through flooded fenlands. SEARCH - TROPICAL FOREST Good A chimpanzee is trying to eat some termites. [Observe] (karma) (get: 20 SB) You sit down behind some foliage and observe the ape using tools to get some grub. Interesting, what nimble fingers they have. You come closer after the chimp is done and pick up what’s left. [Ambush] (karma) (get: Chimpanzee Skull) Whatever your reason is, you rush at the ape with a mighty roar, killing it fast and swiftly. Neutral A big Mountain Gorilla is patrolling this path. [Ambush] (karma) (get: -5% energy, chance% for Dry Palm Leaf) You decide to attack the gorilla, but it shows incredible strength and anger, what a sparring!. Eventually the ape runs away growling - it dropped something! [Hide] (karma) (get: Small Bird Carcass) You decide to wait until the ape is gone. Oh, look, a dead bird. [Roar] (karma) (get: -5% energy, chance% for Beaten Up Scar) You let out a fearsome roar, making the gorilla attack you! The fight is tough, you both end up pretty bruised. Evil A big Drill has noticed you in the foliage! [Charge] (karma) (get: 3% impression) This creature deserves some spanking! You end up wounding it before it runs away growling. [Stalk] (karma) (get: 150 EXP) You back off, hiding in the bush and stalk the creature for a while, learning how to become one with the foliage. Any There’s a Giant Millipede on this leafy branch! [Paw at] (karma) You bat at the branch, watching the millipede crawl and curl. [Eat] (karma) (get: +1% energy) You open your large mouth and nom the millipede. In a matter of seconds you spit it out, YUCK! The taste makes you run away fast! What’s that weird thing? [Approach curiously] (karma) Ah, it’s an Okapi! You lick the stripes to see if it tastes like zebra. You get the most awkward look. [Attack!] (karma) (get: Okapi carcass) Whatever it was, it’s tasty. [Sniff from afar (0)] Hmm, Okapi. You watch it lick its eyes. Ew. A Mangabey monkey swings from a branch. It looks at you while keeping distance. [Roar] (karma) You roar at the monkey angrily, it starts to scream back at you, soon, dozens of monkeys scream and yell at you causing horrible ruckus in the forest. Nice job. [Ignore] (karma) You walk under it, busy on your way. [Roll] (karma) (get: +5 energy) You roll on the ground, showing your belly. Monkey hops downs and carefully cleans you from parasites! A lonely, Trumpeter Hornbill sits on a branch in front of you, trying to eat a juicy fruit. [Bat at branch] (karma) (get: Hornbill feather, get: -5% hunger) You swipe at the branch, swinging it until the bird loses grip and falls right into your teeth! [Watch] (karma) (get: Bird eggs) You observe as bird eats fruit and flies to nest in an empty tree stump. Waiting till bird flies away a bit later, you get a hold of few eggs. [Share beetles] (karma) (get: -10 SB, get: +3% impression) You chatter at the bird, showing it some of largest beetles you have. It munches them happily and in return shows you how to climb a tree safely. A red-fronted parrot swings on a vine above you. [day only] Beautiful Congo Peacock struts in the foliage. SEARCH - DRY SAVANNAH Good A stranded baby giraffe is trying to find scent of its mom. [Sniff around] (karma) Using your amazing sense of smell, you grunt at the baby giraffe to lead it to its mom. You’re the best! [Take chance] (karma) (get: Giraffe Battle) [Stalk] (karma) You stalk the calf for a while, not sure if you should use the opportunity. Thankfully it eventually find its mom and you don’t need to live with the guilt. Neutral You heard a rustle and found a wandering Ground Pangolin! [Pound] (karma) (get: 3x Pangolin Scale) You attack the pangolin, but it curls into an armoured ball. After a while of pounding and scratching the scales, you give up. [Sniff] (karma) (get: 1% impression) You stick your nose against the scales and take a deep sniff, learning there’s not much meat inside. It seems confused, but it doesn’t curl as you don’t harm it. Evil ??? [Give a damn] (karma) You exclaim how nasty Honey Badgers are, but this Honey Badger doesn’t give a shit, stupid. [Attack] (karma) (get: Honey Badger battle) [Growl] (karma) You growl at the Honey Badger, fluffing up your mane and posing a threat. It grunts at you and walks away, backwards. Probably to eat some cobra. What a badass. Any A big Hartebeest noticed you and seems to be agitated. [Provoke] (karma) (get: battle) [Lure] (karma) (get: Hartebeest carcass) You keep following the antelope and lead it away from the herd, where you can finally kill it. [Lie down] (karma) You lie down and wait until the antelope finally is scared by sudden noise and runs towards its herd. You smell a hyena clan nearby, good to know. A pangolin waddles on your path. [Bat at it] (get: EXP) It curls into impenetrable ball of scales. Tough luck! You try to open it for a while, but alas, no cigar. [Sniff it] (karma) It sniffs you back. [Follow it] (karma) (get: 10 energy) Pangolin leads you to a pool of water! You take a sip and feel refreshed. A Banded Mongoose is running towards you, screeching like crazy! [Kill it!] (karma) (get: 3x Mongoose carcass, -20% energy) You rush at the Mongoose, but from the tall gras more and more come out at you. You fight them bravely, hanging from your body like leeches! Whew, what a battle. [Back off] (karma) (get: +2% impression) You back off quickly, seeing as the Mongoose is protecting its home. You bow down and turn around, noticing many more in the grass.You feel like it could have gotten very bad. An eagle looking bird struts on its crane legs. Must be a Secretary Bird, watching you with one eye. [Charge!] (karma) (get: -10% hunger, get: Secretary bird feather) You run towards the bird, before it manages to take off. You grab one of wings with your teeth and kill it merciless. [Stalk] (karma) (get: 8 SB) You follow every step bird takes until it leads you to elephant dung, full of beetles! [Admire] (karma) (get: Secretary bird feather) You sit back, admiring the beauty of the bird. Is it just you, or did it wink at you, dropping a gift? A White-crowned Shrike flies above savannah. [night only] Large Bat Hawk preys upon his favourite bats. SEARCH - ROCKY HILLS Good A Verreaux’s Eagle has landed in front of you. [Admire] (karma) (get: Striped Eagle Feather) You sit down and enjoy the sight of this majestic animal. It cleans its feathers, giving you a small show. Should you tip it? [Tease] (karma) You sit, but you stretch your paws, trying to bat at the eagle. It seems to play along until you get bitten by the sharp beak for being too close. Neutral Sudden hissing caught your attention, there’s a Rock Monitor near your paws! [Stomp] (karma) (get: Monitor Lizard Carcass) You kill the lizard, it’s a lot of meat. [Observe] (karma) (get: 1% impression) You decide to not move and just watch the little buddy wave it’s funny tongue at you. You part ways without any drama. Evil Noticing you, a Cape Porcupine froze in place. [Wait] (karma) You freeze in place too, waiting until the animal dashes into a direction you can follow. Unfortunately, the quills are too scary to even approach. [Pounce] (karma) (get: -10% hunger) You decide to be a big cat and wiggle your butt a bit until you pounce and kill the animal, safely from the front. Any You spot a dead vulture. Ew. You notice orphaned wild donkey foal looking for his mom. [Ignore] (karma) You sniff the air and roar at the donkey, letting it run into direction you scented the herd from. [Kill it] (karma) (get: donkey foal carcass) Easy meal. A funny, tall bird runs in front of you. It’s a Courser, following a few beetles to gobble on. [Grab Beetles] (karma) (get: 10 SB) You grunt at the bird and steal the beetles. [Kill it!] (karma) (get: Small bird carcass, get: 4 SB) You smack the bird dead and grab whatever’s left from escaping beetles. [Walk away] (karma) (get: 1% impression) You turn around and leave the area, better not disturb the barely prosperous life of those hills. A small, fuzzy Wildcat tries to cross your path. Perhaps it thinks it’s small enough to not notice. [Smack it] (karma) You smack your mighty paw at the cat, squashing air out of its lungs and killing it. Pesky kittens, they should fear you. [Ignore](karma) You go on, barely paying attention to the cat. [Meow] (karma) You try your best, letting out a cub-like meow. Cat stares at you surprised, but meows back. After exchanging a few more sophisticated noises, you part ways. A Sandgrouse feeds on nearby flowers. [wet only] Amazing Pelican patrols flooding banks. SEARCH - ARID DESERT Good You notice abandoned caravan Camel, dying from an injury. [Be patient] (karma) (get: -40% hunger) You sit next to it, getting some shade while waiting until it stops breathing. Then you eat. [End misery] (karma) (get: Camel Carcass) You end its suffering and grab the carcass. There’s no need for any animal to be dying in such pain for so long, cruel humans. Neutral Sudden sand slide revealed this interesting looking rock with scary bones saved by the time. [Admire] (karma) You sit back and study this weird creature’s body, but don’t disturb the rock. It might be something important. chance% : [Take] (karma) (get: Afrovenator Fossil) You’re not sure what you’re supposed to do with this, but you take it anyway. Evil This Addax looks like it lost a battle with another male of its kind. What a tempting sight. [Kill it] (karma) (get: Addax Carcass) You jump at the opportunity and get an easy kill. [Maul] (karma) (get: -10% hunger, 1% impression) You play with your food, mauling it and practicing your blows before it dies. Any You notice a scary cloud of sand in sky. [Take cover] (karma) You wait the sandstorm out under a small cliff carved in a sandstone. Being a big lion, your body provided shelter for few other animals. [Bravely face it] (karma) (get: chance% for Sandstorm Decor) You close your eyes and face the wind, the grains hurt you at that speed but you’re stronger than some flying dirt. You spot a Fennec Fox. It’s so cute, nibbling its dinner. [Approach] (karma) (get: 12 SB) Fennec looks at you with shiny, black eyes and squeaks before it runs between your paws back into its den, leaving some snacks for you. [Kill it] (karma) (get: fennec skull) You crack its spine with your fangs and walk away with a vicious trophy. [Smile gently] (karma) (get: Gerbil carcass, Rat carcass) You admire the fluffy tail before it scurries away, leaving its dinner untouched. That Jerboa looks like a mix between a fennec and a rabbit. [Pounce playfully] (karma) (get: +2% impression, get: EXP) You play a bit with the jerboa, it’s a mighty jumpy mouse! You’re out of breath! Good practice. [Kill it] (karma) (get: Jerboa carcass) Poor, innocent mouse, you bastard. Dromedary walks by and spits on you. What impudence! [Attack!] (karma) (get: -20% energy) It’s hard to fight on sand dunes and dromedary had an advantage and ran away. You feel tired. [Wipe off] (karma) (get: 5 SB) You wipe yourself from spit and notice few scarab beetles on the ground. [Spit back] (karma) How rude. Wet eye for an eye. A desert Eagle Owl flies away with a mouse between claws. [night only] A tiny Courser bird runs silently through the desert. SEARCH - MARSHLAND Good A rustle in the marshes catches your attention, you notice a Sacred Ibis! [Watch] (karma) (get: 30 SB) You decide to take some time and observe the nature, while some beetles crawl all over you. Neutral Agh! A Goliath Frog just leaped in front of you! [ARGH!] (karma) (get: 5% energy) Crikey! Evil This Dwarf Crocodile doesn’t look like it’s going anywhere. [Nudge] (karma) (get: Crocodile Carcass) You slowly bat the crocodile, hoping it’d move away, but it hisses at you. WELL THEN. Any You notice a Crab-Plover bird. Weird, does that mean this Marshland is connected to saltwater? A few Bushpigs dig for grub in reeds near you, grunting like a pig should. [Join digging] (karma) (get: Otter skull, get: 5 SB, get: 1% impression) You start digging the ground, finding many roots and larvae. Pigs enjoy the meal and show you interesting stuff they dug out earlier. [Mmm pork] (karma) (get: Bushpig carcass, get: 5% impression) You rush at the pigs, grabbing one in your deadly jaw grip. After a long, whiny squeal, pig dies, scaring all others away. [Pounce!] (karma) You run between pigs playfully, but they angrily growl at you, forcing you to leave. Suddenly something nearly explodes in front of you. Startled Marsh Mongoose really jump high! [Kill!] (karma) (get: Mongoose carcass) Om nom nom. [Jump!] (karma) (get: -10% energy, get:EXP) You jump as well, and after few seconds, both of you jump up like crazy rabbits! That Mongoose is cray cray! [Back off] (karma) (get: Crocodile skull decor) You back off, sorry that you scared the creature. You bump your back on something, huh? A graceful African Spoonbill feeds in shallow water near the strand. [Ambush] (karma) (get: Spoonbill feather, get: -10% hunger) You emerge from the reeds, killing the large bird with one bite on neck. A bonus, it had some tasty fish in its stomach, yum yum. [Walk by) (karma) (get: Spoonbill feather, get: 5SB) You choose to not disturb the Spoonbill. On nearby path you notice the wading bird dropped something. [Drink] (karma) (get: Nommable fish) You crouch on the bank edge feeling safe with the bird on lookout for crocs. You sip the water, when suddenly Spoonbill misses escaping fish and it falls right into your open mouth! >u>Small Bluethroat bird flies above the reeds. [day only] African Darter dries its wings after diving for fish. SEARCH - WATERHOLE Good A majestic Little Egret is wandering in shallow part of the Waterhole. [Follow] (karma) (get: 3x Little Egret feather) You follow the bird, practicing your stalking and are rewarding with few gorgeous feathers when it finally flies away. Neutral Baby Hippo is nomming on some reeds in shallow water. [Roar] (karma) (get: Hippo Fat) You let out a fierce, scary roar. Baby hippo squeals and runs into the water, where a crocodile attacks it, mauling it to death. Mother Nature, you scary. You pick up what washes up on the shore. Evil You spot a few Black Herons hunting for fish in unusual positions. [Pounce!] karma) (get: 3x Black Heron feather) As the birds fly away in fear, they drop a rain of black dancing feathers. You manage to catch a few, while others fall into the water. Any A lonely cow from human settlement is taking a sip of water. [Attack] (karma) (get: Cow Carcass) Well, that was easy. [Sip along] (karma) (get: 2% impression) You crouch next to it and take a drink as well. This is a harsh world, no need to attack without being hungry. A giraffe is trying to drink. [Roar] (karma) You roar at the giraffe, making it trip and fall into the water. Ha, ha, ha. Derp. [Drink] (karma) (get: 3% impression, get: +35% energy) You join in and lap the water as well. This abundant in water place shouldn’t be hostile, it’s too precious. Giraffe seems to appreciate it. [Attack] (karma) (get: Giraffe carcass, get: 10% impression, get: 200 EXP) You pounce and down the giraffe easily in this position. You hold the jaw grip on its neck until it suffocates. That is one huge kill. What’s that?! Some weird red fox. It seems to be really hot. [Roar] (karma) (get: 1% impression) You warn it with a mighty growl. It’s your water. All of it. [Scare] (karma) (get: 1% impression) You do some random aggressive moves, not bothering to attack though. Fox ran away barking fearfully with tail between its legs. [Share shade] (karma) (get: 1% impression) You move deeper under the tree, sharing your favourite spot of shade to let the fox cool down a bit. A big Blue Crane landed to feed in sedges. [Chase!] (karma) (get: Crane feather) You run into sedges, splashing water and scaring the Crane away, just barely snapping its tail. Oh well, a small trophy. [Pounce!] (karma) (get: Crane carcass) You hide in grass, awaiting a good moment to attack and finish your deed like a boss. [Watch] (karma) (get: 10 SB, get: +10 energy) You lie down for a bit and watch beautiful creature gobble snails, lizards and frogs. When you get up again, you find some beetles that hid in your shade. A pair of noisy Augur Buzzards do a mating dance in the air. [wet only] Little Bittern emerges from a reedbed. A scary, black lion drips with blood. Must be one of sons of northern king, trying to bring death in your lands.

A male hyena paces the savannah, itching for a fight. He spots you and snarls, "hey PUSSY, what do you think you're doing here? This territory belongs to me, Clayton, and don't you forget it". He's just an adolescent and is quite obviously putting up a front... but are you really going to take that from that scrawny little jokester? You charge at him and he runs away, cackling. Wimp.

White Lion
You recognize this fella. He’s a son of king of southern lands, obviously invading your territory!

October - Rabies Encounters

All Rabies encounters are simple fight encounters. They occur both at day and night.

October - Halloween Encounters

Halloween Encounters occur at night only.

Oh no! A creepy Zombie Lion appeared! Better kill this SOB! [Fight]

Oh no! A creepy Wraith Lion appeared! Better kill this SOB! [Fight]

Exploring through the night, you stop when the dirt under your paws moves. A horrible stench itches your nose when an Undead Wildebeest crawls out, wheezing creepily.

[Holy Crap!] (get: Guilt Trip, +2BB) You whimper and turn around, running like hell. No way you’re facing what could have been your last meal on a revenge quest. You stop only after tripping on something in the dark.

From the shadows a Nightmare Spider materialises to attack your face!
[Attack!] (get: Battle - Nightmare Spider, +1BB)

Uttering a shrill cry, a Nightmare is galloping through these lands. You shiver.

A horrible Nightmare Lion has formed in the night!
[Attack] (get: Battle - Nightmare Lion. If win, get Shard of Evil)

Before you lands a foul creature of the night, Lich Lion, slowly turning into a skeletal undead.
[Fight!] (get: Battle - Lich Lion. If win, get Shard of Evil)
[Bow] (get: 1-2 Shard of Evil) You bow to the Lich Lion. He looks into your lion soul, deciding whether he should reap it. You tremble with pain, but the creature leaves uninterested, sparing you.

From the deepest night, a flame bursts from the ground, materializing this horrendous demon. It seems like it wants to slave you as a pet!

if between -499 - +499 karma: (lose 10% energy) Your good and bad deeds aren’t enough to win with the demon! You manage to escape demonic chains, but lose a lot of strength in the struggle.

Trying to warn a passing lion, it suddenly bursts into infernal flames, roaring with the screech of pain and hatred! It must be a demonic slave!
[Help him!] (get: Lion Skull, Rib Bone, +2BB, +1 karma) Unfortunately it’s too late. This lion is forsaken, and with a roar trembling in your skull, it bursts into embers phasing to Hell, leaving its bones dropping onto the ground.
[Attack!] (get: Battle - Hellfire Lion, +3BB)

Trying to chase a trespassing hyena, you stop in your tracks, when the animal bursts into flames with snickering echoing in your mind for long, strangely delayed seconds.

Suddenly ground around you is covering with thick, black smoke and a horrible, unholy demon is forming in front of you! You feel your body fighting with smoke’s twisting powers!

[Succumb!] (get: 1-2 Shard of Evil) You succumb to the black, whispering smoke and feel the trembling defilement filling your body. Vile creature!

Oh no! A creepy Decaying Hyena appeared! Better kill this SOB! [Fight]

A flock of creepy looking bats surrounds you out of no where, their sharp screeches ringing in your ears.
[Jump!] (karma) (+1 BB) - You jump and swipe in the air, trying to catch them for dinner. Of course, you miss every time, and after sending you a few pitying looks, they move off to find someone else to bother.
[Roar!] (karma) (+1 BB) - You roar at the annoying flying mice! Unfortunately, they start screeching, swirling around you and biting! Ouch!
[Hiss] (karma) (+1 BB) - You hiss at the bats, trying to warn them what a danger you are and that you have no fear. However, they simply hiss back, impressed by your bat language skills.

A cold breeze bristles through your fur and you shiver, suddenly aware that your breath is now pooling out as white smoke in front of you. With a crack of something that sounded like lightening, you look up, only to see something terrifying flying right at you!
[Stand your ground!] (karma) (+1 BB) - You will not bow to cowardice! You stand your ground firmly, closing your eyes as the spirit rushes right through you, chilling you to the bone. Brrr.
[Roar!] (karma) (+1 BB) - You will not bow to cowardice! You stand your ground firmly, closing your eyes as the spirit rushes right through you, chilling you to the bone. Brrr.
[Run!] (karma) (+1 BB) - You turn on your heels and run as fast as you can, terrified that this creature will catch you! It seems faster than you though, and soon it is gliding alongside you, translucent paws sliding through the air silently. You run together in silence, grandfather and grandson, before your ancestor slips into the shadows and disappears.

You hear a crack of sticks behind you and turn around quickly - only to find yourself surrounded by horrifying two-legged creatures, pointing their sharp sticks at your face!
[Roar!] (karma) (+1 BB) - The creatures tilt their heads, seemingly impressed by your roar. Obviously, they find your bravery in this situation to be admirable and move aside, allowing you to leave freely.
[Cower!] (karma) (+1 BB) - You cower like a fearful kitten and the creatures appear to take pity on you. Figuring such a cowardly lion would not be worth the effort to attack, they leave.
[Swipe!] (karma) (+1 BB) (-5% energy) - You take a fierce swipe at the closest creature but he darts aside, causing you to barely miss him. Landing in a heap, you yelp as the others begin jabbing you with their sticks, and as soon as you can you get up and run as fast as your paws will carry you.

Floating wisps flicker in the dark, reminding you of wandering spirits.

[Observe!] (karma) (+1 BB) - You sit down and watch the shapes. They move like shadows of the past and you hear strange sounds echo on the horizon. After a while the mysterium dissolves, and you remain unscathed. Cool!
[Dive In!] (karma) (+1 BB) - You approach the fog to see the shadows better, but they screech and dissappear instantly. Oooooh...
[Run away!] (karma) (+1 BB) - You don't want to know, you don't care -- better get the hell out of there!

SEARCH - NOVEMBER

November - Shaman Encounters

You catch a smell of blood in the air, you follow the source and find a lioness in pain, hiding in shade of a tree.
[Tend wounds] You chew some shamanistic herbs and lick the lionesses wound, comforting her with your presence and protection. You leave after she feels better. (if active quest - complete)
[Invite] - (get: claiming lioness)
[Attack!] - (karma) (get: Lioness battle)

It’s a Tsavo Lion you heard stories about, killer of five Barbary Lions!
[Attack!] (get: Tsavo lion battle, if active quest - complete)

You stumble upon a group of humans collecting animal bones.
[Charge] (karma) You rush upon the humans, scattering them away! You roar, and sit down, protecting the lion bones around. (if active quest - complete)
[Attack] (karma) (get: Human Battle, if active quest - complete)

You find a hill made of rocks. There is a skull on top!
[Place the herb] You put a herb in the mouth of the skull, establishing connection between this place and the shamans. (if active quest - complete)
[Walk away] You decide to not disturb ancestor’s remains.

+ chance% - You notice a very nicely shaped rock. Sounds like a new pet for your cubs! (get: Pet Rock)

chance% - You dive in, setting the stick on fire. You feel flames licking your body but you come out graceful, as if the ancestors were protecting you. Now it’s time to go back to the shamans! (if active quest - complete)
chance% - You dive in, trying to catch the stick on fire, but it crisps your fur instead! You run away, trying to avoid getting burned! Maybe next time.
[Run!] Oh Lord Lion it’s a fire! Ain’t nobody got time for that!

Additionally, there's a huge chance of getting a random shaman herb while exploring.

SEARCH - DECEMBER

December - Winter Encounters

All snow encounters intensify/appear as the tiers progress.

What is this horrible creature?!

[Thrash!] (karma) (get: +2% impression progress) You thrash around the hyena, showing off your power, fury and rage. The ugly thing runs away yelping. Yeah... It better not come back!
[Stalk!] (karma) (get: 50 EXP) You drop to the ground, stalking the ugly hyena until it leaves your territory. You're getting good at being invisible!

A very weird crow lands in front of you.
[Pounce!] (karma) (get: Albino Feather) You pounce at the crow, landing with your mighty paw on its chest. Quick kill, nothing to eat, but at least it had pretty feathers.
[Scare Away!] (get: +2% impression progress) Gathering as much air in lungs as possible, you let out a mighty roar and scare the bird away. How impressive!
[Play!] (karma) (get: Albino Feather) With a playful roll, you duck to the ground and paw at the hopping crow and play with it for a while. When it flies away, it leaves you a small gift.

A strange zebra! You can see a faint pattern on it though, maybe it expired and is no longer tasty?
[Prowl!] (get: %chance - Random battle scar) You duck to the ground, trying to sneak around the zebra, but it kicks you and runs away! Ouch!
[Roar!] (karma) (get: Zebra Carcass) You roar suddenly at the zebra! As it stands up to kick your head, you jump at its belly and rip it apart!
[Tilt Head!] (karma) (get: 10 SB) You tilt your head curiously, watching washed out stripes running away from you. After few moments, you notice few beetles piling up on the dung the zebra left.

An elder albino lion stands his ground in front of you.

[Bow Down!] (karma) (get: +1% impression progress) You bow down to the elder lion and he looks at you with respect, before continuing on his journey.
[Snarl!] (karma) (get: +1% impression progress) You show your teeth and a low growl rumbles from your throat. The elder lion quickly turns and leaves your territory.

Stink Bug Encounters - whole month round!

This floppy looking lion seems permanently worried.

[Smack those ears!] (get: battle - Quest & battle type - Lion)
[Ask about the ears] (get: 1-3 Stink Bugs) You’re a lion and tact is something you’re unaware of. You inquire about the floppy ears, and lion seems greatly offended. With an unkind growl, he stuffs your muzzle with few smelly Stink Bugs and leaves.

You notice few Stink Bugs on a branch and catch the slowest ones before they run away.

You notice a very disturbing scene. Elephants seem to be burying their calf in a dung pile...

[Gasp] (karma) (get: 1-3 Stink Bugs) You let out a gasp, witnessing this elephant mob activity. They turn towards you, startled by the noise you made. RUN! You dash into dried barbs, cause delicate elephant skin won’t go near them. A little scratched, you come out a bit later with a souvenir.
[Approach] (karma) (get: 1-3 Stink Bugs) You approach the elephants, suggesting your discovery can be made public unless they give you something to keep quiet. They grumble, but give you currency in exchange to keep their secret hidden.
[Hide] (karma) (get: 1-3 Stink Bugs) You decide to hide, and not let the Elephant mafia notice you. In the shadowy bush, you notice some bugs crawling around.

Looks like this fella wasn’t so lucky when dealing with Elephant bullies.

[Shove back in] (karma) (get: 1 Stink Bug, Muddy Feather, Muddy Rat Carcass) You rudely push the lion back into the dung, seeing only a flash of his startled but disappointed look. There’s some fun stuff around the dung pile which you take for yourself.
[Whack] (get: battle - Quest & battle type - Lion)

What a FABULOUS mantis!

[Admire] (get: 1 Stink Bug) You let out a slightly exaggerated gasp, admiring the show off. Mantis is very pleased with you and gives you a token of appreciation.

Not the kind of Bear Cavalry you were hoping for.

[Race!] (karma) (get: 1 Stink Bug, Slender Mongoose Carcass) You decide to race the weirdo and the… stallion. Even though you seem to be losing, Apedemak gracefully falls on his face, hitting the ground. He grants you with a reward and leaves with a serious case of sniffles.
[Attack!] (get: battle - Quest & battle type - both Lion and Buffalo + group attack)

You notice a lion dragging a shark carcass… what? You… you want it. You needsss it. Preciousss.

[Mine!] (get: Shark Carcass) You huff and you puff and blow the other lion away.
[Mine!] (get: Shark Carcass) You start asking the lion why is his nose so big and his eyes so big, and his fangs so sharp. He eventually gets bored of your questions and leaves.
[Mine!] (get: Shark Carcass) “Okay!” Said the lion and gave you his shark. And everyone lived happily ever after.

Oookay…. Moving on.

You notice a bunch of Grivet Monkeys dancing Ook Ook Ookkan Grivet Style.

[Join] (get: 1 Stink Bug, Fermented Marula Fruit, Dry Palm Leaf) You decide to join in and show off your dance moves. Monkeys jump on top of you, ruffle your hair and party is going strong until they all pass out from eating fermented fruits. You gather some leftover trash and move on.
[Stare] (get: 1 Stink Bug, Fermented Marula Fruit, Juicy Lizard) You sit down and stare at them, unsure what’s going on. Some monkeys scream at each other, some do weird moves, eventually they scatter, leaving some trash around.

Suddenly earth starts to shake and birds fly away screeching, when this scary looking lion crossed your path. Accompanied by a lioness, he looks at you like he’s about to eat your flesh.

[Run, lion, run!] Letting out a quiet yelp, you turn around and run like the wind, eventually smashing your muzzle against a large tree. With a bleeding nose, you sit down to realise you just met the most evil lion there ever was. And he gave you a nosejob.
