These are mischievous earth bound sprites that are affiliated with one or more natural forces (such as life, forest, water, shadow e.t.c), no more than 2 feet tall, and notorious for their prank like nature towards other creatures, part of that using their tail chimes to distract and confuse

The main features are their long ears (tufted or not), manes of a sort, reptile like snouts and chime tails (think of the rattle snake but a more bell like noise almost), their hands and feet have 4 digits each, though the 4th on their feet are much closer to mid foot for better balance
