Ok I'm not sure if this is just me on here, but I have a hard time uploading art onto the site. I have a thread where I sell writings I do but along with that I would like to sell art. The problem is I can never seem to find out how to upload it onto here since I don't do digital art I do hand drawn. So my idea is there should be an upload file button when you are posting or putting a picture in your fourm to make it easier. The upload file button would take you to your pictures and you select you drawing or picture, ect. out of there.

No support from me, sorry.

Imgur and other sites have codes that enable you to post examples of your art. Along with the upload file option on said sites. And you can easily copy and paste a sample of your writing from Word, or whatever you use to write on. Seems sort of pointless to me, I have no problems uploading my art at all.

Like the person above me said ^
Imgur is extremely easy to use, and honestly does exactly what your asking of lioden to do.

No support simply because Lioden can't afford to be hosting gigabytes of images for players, sadly!

As an artist myself I do respect this idea. But the developer in me says no. I understand it would be easier, then going to imgur and tinypic to upload stuff and then having to copy and paste the links in here. But... as a developer, it's just EATING all of your server space. What usually happens is you insert a few pictures in a forumpost and then a week later you want other pictures. This results in keeping pictures added to your server space, while a lot of them aren't even used anymore. This litterely eats up server space.

And saying: just delete the old pictures.. Regrettably it doesn't work like that in coding. It takes a real hard effort to find all the pictures that aren't used anymore and delete them. The most easy way would be to have old forumposts deleted after a certain amount of time, and then you would code into the system that the images in that post will be deleted from the server too.

So long story short. No, because it eats serverspace and coding this (while deleting pictures after they aren't used) is a real pain in the ass for the coders. There are TONS of websites that support unlimited uploading of images where you can just copy / paste the link in the site here.

....no, I have to say No support. For what others have said. And because I know of plenty of hosting websites that offer forum img codes and are traditional art friendly. It just takes an extra minute or less to copy the code from those and paste it here. It's not so inconvenient at all I've done it loads of times.

Also makes things easier for tracers, copiers, and art thieves in a way.

I can see the draw to this being a feature here, but at the end of the day this is a SIM game not a art host website. And there are plenty of good easy to use host sites for art already.

No support, this would be way too heavy for the servers.
You have tons of hosting websites (and they actually work exactly the same for digital and traditional art....), just use them.
