WINTER EVENT

As you might have noticed already, the December Event started automatically on its own! Yay!

Giving and Pooping
It's a season of Gifting! You can visit other player's Dens and choose what you want to leave - once per player, and every wednesday and saturday the cooldown will reset - so you will be able to gift/poop in that player's den again. There's a reason for this limit - but if you guys demand enough we might make a cooldown reset for xmas? ;) A real gift (items, SB or GB) will push the gifting bar towards unlocking the tiers of Guelta and raise your karma by 1 each. A poopy gift will raise the poop bar towards unlocks of Mudpit and lower your karma by 1. Receiving poop this year won't be so shitty! I'll explain why later.

Try to not advertise gifts/poops or ask for them in chat

You can fully unlock both bars so don't worry - one does not exclude the other! However, there's a new, third bar below them - and it requiers both bars to cross tier 1 in order to open! It also has 3 tiers total - It's a Stink Bug Shop! Yay!

Remember that you can open your den gifts starting on 25th December and ending on 31st, 11:59 pm. (this is when event ends)



Stink Bugs?

New encounters are our typical poopy Lioden humour - we just go silly this month :D.

Stink Bugs are now December Currency - you gather them from new explore encounters (yes they do affect karma, but not all of them) and the poop bundles have a % chance of producing a Stink Bug when you open them!
You can spend them in the new shop for all the fancy new decors and Ice applicators as well as first ever Pose Applicator.

- This year's Advent rewards will be fully replaced with 2013 decors. The ones from a year ago will appear next year. They will rotate like that. Advent decors are completely free, you just have to log in that day and reclaim the prize in the EVENT section. You must open them in order, but if you miss a day then don't worry - you'll be able to collect all the gifts! The Advent calendar runs from 22nd up until, and including, the 29th December, but we'll leave it up until the 30th to make sure everyone gets a chance of collecting the gifts.

- Explore Encounters with albino animals are back.
- All poopy/muddy encounters we kept permanently were added year ago - Elephant Dung, Dirty Warthog and Lion Scat, so they are nothing new really but this is how they started :D
- Mudpit items are still smelly and useless. But you can find treasures as well!

Something builds up...
The winter in Africa is... not really wintery. It's summer there, actually. But most of Liodenians live in the northern hemisphere and we all love snow time. To somehow mix lion & user fun, we're introducing something fluffy and white very slowly, to not disturb African feeling of the game. The more tiers you open, the more of it will appear, in explore and in other places, but not too much, and not yet. And then the Snuhlions will appear in the dens.

Jolly Pose questions - Poses will be viewable in wardrobe and we'll launch them around you guys unlocking tier 3 I suppose, so the news explaining how pose applicators will work should be around that time! There will also be a Pose Remover in Monkey Business.

December event starts on 00:00 AM dec 1st and ends on Dec 31st 11:59 PM. All currency will be stored until next year as well as the buried, unopened bundles.

Server Maintenance

Today, we will be dumping old server and switching to a new one! This will take some time, because this requires setting up new real life hardware and moving stuff around - we apologize for inconvinience, but follow us on Facebook for progress information and silly drawings!

We will post an annoucement 30-ish minutes before downtime!
