Today...was a really nasty day... The foothills were practically storming the entire time you were out. Drenched, completely soaked through and freezing, you take refuge under some trees nearby. At least there's protection here from the brutal weather, if only to some small degree. A sigh parts your lips, and you wait the storm out. It's only when nightfall arrives that things are finally cleared up. You take this chance to go ahead and leave for home, a warm bed calling to you. As you're leaving, you stumble over something... Oh, look! A toy! I bet if you gave this to one of your pups, your bond would be stronger! (Tug of war toy)

Oh, wow! You've had plenty of signs, and even more sightings! These Drachenhund don't often travel in many packs, but you've seen a lot of families! Their pups are rather gorgeous, and the parents have been highly watchful of you, wary if you will. Most have opted to run you off when you venture to close.... This has made it hard to find any pups that need a good home. Well.... While this is a complete bummer, you're at least glad to know that there aren't any needing pups. Shame that you couldn't find any though.... However, beneath the shifting sands, you did find a shiny object. Maybe it'll help you next time locate a Drachenhund....

Three trips, three results! We'll do the Plains and Meadows first.

The Plains was a complete waste of time. No sightings, no signs.... Not a single sign. SUre, you've seen wildlife galore, but no Drachenhund. Bummer... You did, however, locate a satchel. Hey, that'll come in handy when you send out a Drachenhund later on...!

THe meadow resulted in somewhat better results. You some some signs. Not a lot, but some. This is heartening. After some few moments of looking around, you stumble across what seems to be a nest. It's easy to tell that something had been here recently. Blood everywhere.... You wonder what happened, and not far off, hear some crying and bawling. Drawing nearer, you find a newborn pup, on wobbly legs, begging its mother to get up. It seems that she died protecting her pup... You opt to take the poor thing home with you, and tend to the laceration to its snout.

The foothills were...even less productive. Things were favorable today. Good weather, lots of sightings! As you used the pheromones, they...seemed quite dead.... Perhaps you got a bad batch at the store, or maybe it was because the wind shifted. Whatever the reason, you didn't find a drachenhund here.... You did, however, stumble upon something else. A healing tonic? That's good news for if your drachenhunds ever get hurt!

As soon as you see FLora, you're instantly worried. She looks downright awful, covered in her own blood and that of another's. You aren't sure what happened, but she's crying and bawling. The poor thing is just downright in pain... You immediately rush to her aid, finding that she has a rather long and nasty scar upon her shoulder. It clearly runs down to her elbow, and it seems to be the cause of her cries. As you sooth her, you realize that she's had a tag along. It seems that she, as tiny as she is, was protecting the pup following her. THough scuffed up, the pup appears to be in relatively good condition.

Because you found the satchel, it's free! Fraener, however, is still just a pup... XD So he can't go out just out! I have a spreadsheet so you can see when he's finally old enough to go out. :)
