You are a fox. Nothing special about that, right? Wrong. There is a certain magic called Foxcraft. There are several arts of it, some easy to master, others so hard to master that only a few individuals know how to use them. There are also the Committee of Elders, which are a chosen group of the wisest foxes. The wisest of all is the highest ranking of the Elders, called the Black Fox. He, or she, does not have to have black fur, it is simply a title. The life source of every living fox is called maa. The elders keep Foxcraft and Foxcraft lore in check. There is also the Taken. Beware of these, for they are looking for a group of certain fox kits that are said to possess one strange ability. The Mage, or leader, of the Taken, which are foxes which have had their willpower ripped from them, believes that if these chosen kits are killed, they themself will get the power. These kits are called the Elusive. Will they succeed, or will these kits escape out of peril?

Rules:

-No canon characters, OC's only.
-You may not make one of the Elusive as of now. Those who have been in the roleplay longer and/or have gained my trust will be granted one over time.
-You can have as many characters as you like, as long as you can control them all.
-Every character must be involved in the plot in some way.
-No godmodding, powerplaying, or autohitting.
-Only a few foxes will start the roleplay having their Foxcraft abilities. Most will learn them over time.
-Your fox must look realistic. Basically, no sparkedogs.
-Also, please try not to use too much wolfspeak. A little here and there (Like "She lifted her cranium and opened her orbs", but if there's wolfspeak for EVERY piece of anatomy, that's too much. You can use auds for ears, but not every time.)
-Minimum 3 sentences per post. NO exceptions. Breaking this rule will result in a warning each time, I will PM you about it instead of positing it publicly.
-If you break these rules, it will be a warning if minor, or if major, a strike. 3 warnings = 1 strike, 3 strikes = Get out. I will be keeping track of your warnings and strikes here so the both of us know. It's not to name and shame, it's just so we can both keep track. Believe me, I don't like to point fingers, but will do so if needed, and in this case, it's needed.

Foxcraft abilities:

-Maa-sharm: the transferring of one's maa to another. Doing so will make the one who gave their maa drowsy, and will need to rest to regain the lost maa. Typically applied to those who are injured, sick, or dying. if one gives all their maa, they will die.
-Wa'akkir: Shape-shifting to another creature. Can be used to transform into another fox, a dog, a cat, or a wolf. Misuse (such as using it to disturb someone by letting them see you as their double, using it in excess, ect.) can cause injury, or even death.
-Karrakking: Throwing your voice. Used to trick others, whether used for hunting or defense.
-Slimmering: Becoming invisible. Can be countered by certain foxes by blinking. Used to avoid detection.
-Gerra-sharm: Gerra is the thought of all living things. This ability is basically to mind-read, or share thoughts. Only able to be performed by those with a very intense bond, such as brother and sister, kit and parent, close friends, ect.
-Flicking: The ability only able to be used by the Elusive. It is the flickering of one's image, which can last up to a minute each time it's used. Used to confuse predators and other foxes.
