Greetings everyone! I'll clear that one out for everyone though I also answered your Pm Laura :)

Characters for sure are aware now that zombies exist, they can even call them zombies if you want. Still, there was no previous knowledge (before the apocalypse) that something such as a zombie could exists. Meaning there were no records, scientific or fictional of them. They didn't have movies or games or comics about them, it was just something that hadn't been considered.

This was decided this way to avoid prepper characters, seeing as how they would have ran with a lot of advantage and to make the beginning of the apocalypse more interesting :)

@Laura - If I may inform you, Alastair and Cassandra are not walking together (as is mentioned in our posts), Cassie was thinking about Alastair, but not with him, they are walking by themselves. Well, Alastair isn't even walking, he is riding a horse (as is also mentioned in Dorito's post).
