We've all had that "oshit" moment when you accidentally click Delete All instead of Delete Checked. What I'm proposing is a relatively simple concept that would be added as an additional tab in your inbox. Just a simple Deleted Messages area would be immensely helpful to a lot of people, and prevent accidents and misunderstandings. I've accidentally deleted notifications of transfers before I've opened them, and am left wondering whether that 5 GB I just got was a gift, payment for art, a trade buyout, etc. It can be a hassle to PM the sender and wait for a reply. Henceforth, the Deleted Messages tab could contain a few features in addition to just being able to open deleted messages inside the tab: -Recover Message »This could be a button located somewhere that would return deleted messages to their respective inbox if you wanted to keep them. -Recover Checked »Same as above but would be able to use checkboxes to recover more than one. -Delete Forever »Allows you to permanently delete a message from your Deleted Messages tab. Should probably include an "Are you sure?" popup. -Delete Checked Forever »Same as before but would be able to use checkboxes to delete more than one. -Delete All »Clears out your entire Deleted Messages tab. Should probably include an "Are you sure?" popup. If they weren't deleted or recovered, messages in the Deleted Messages tab would automatically remove themselves after a certain amount of time [15 days, 30 days, whatever works]. I'm on the fence about whether or not you could reply to deleted mail inside the Deleted Messages tab. It's probably not necessary as you could recover them and then reply, but I don't know. :I Suggestions? Support? Critique? Suggestions Casey (#29140) - Maybe it could have a limit just like the other inboxes, instead of a wipe - timer? Or maybe even both. Nesting Adjustments | Adjustments to Clan Admin Editing Rights |

Maybe it could have a limit just like the other inboxes, instead of a wipe - timer? Or maybe even both. :) I just feel there should be a limit on how many you can keep as to not strain the server (Which was why the limit was put in place origionaly.) Either way I support. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I suppose it could have a limit? I'm just not sure on it, no offense. What would happen if you reached that limit? Would you not be able to delete messages anymore? Would deleted messages just go straight to being deleted forever? If the latter happened, would you get a notification telling you when you deleted messages was getting full? There's also the thing of if there wasn't a timer on it, people might just use it as extra storage. :/ I don't know, these are just off the top of my head. I'll add your suggestion regardless, and thank you for your support! 0 players like this post! Like? |

I agree with this. I've deleted so many important messages because of that dreaded delete all button. ;-; 0 players like this post! Like? |

Support!! I've deleted all my messages, like, so many times. It's so. Annoying. I think a wipe-timer of sorts would be great! In Gmail, after 30 days of a message being in the trash, it gets deleted forever automatically. I think this could be a bit shorter, maybe a week or two? The major time you'd use it would probably be when you delete ALL your messages on accident... When you go through your inbox deleting old messages, the ones you delete shouldn't be important so the time would be shorter! This post is reaaaally disorganized. Oh, well. :P But good suggestion! I hope this becomes a reality!! XD 0 players like this post! Like? |

Even if the timer was just for a day or two, it'd be super useful. No more lost lions cause I accidentally deleted a "Lion/esses aging!" message. T_T 0 players like this post! Like? |
