So....certain lions that I love have gorgeous stats, beautiful manes, wonderful bases, and have that ONE unfortunate marking that I just can't stand and always ends up randomly being passed to all the cubs born to my female. Sound familiar?

There are lots of markings out there that many players love, but also, a similar number of them that people simply do NOT want to breed into their prides. For example, maroon or ice markings going into an otherwise 'natural' pride.

Since we can't expect a stud to be willing to use a marking removal item on their lion just to satisfy the needs of a 'customer', I'd like to suggest the implementation of an anti-gnawrock. A male will use the item and select the marking in question that the breeder does NOT want to have pass to any of the cubs.

Since there is no guarantee of a mark passing, this item would be a 'precautionary' measure that could be taken instead of having to buy a 'marking remover' for any of the unfortunate cubs who inherit it, or gives the opportunity of a marking that's in that slot for the momma, passing instead of the horrible one you want to avoid.

I would suggest a 300-500sb fee. As the community seems to believe there is a surplus of SB, this is a great SB sink to help clear some out of the economy, but will also not replace the oasis item marking remover since not everyone will take the 'anti-gnawrock' precautions, and will always need to further customize a lion.

I'm certainly open to suggestions or changes to this, just curious if anyone else feels the frustration of searching for studs only to groan when you see that utterly-hated marking in an exciting slot.

This suggestion has 23 supports and 8 NO supports.

I like the concept of it, but I just had to hit no. I mean, I feel as though breeding should be all about chance and random possibilities. I don't think it should be controlled with the use of items. It takes all the fun away from breeding, or at least I think it does - y'know?

I love the concept of this idea and honestly I have maroon markings that I wish would never pass down but they always just seem to want to show up where they aren't wanted. You have my support

@PlagueBringer- The Gnawrock guarantees a marking to pass, it helps breeding projects were without it would make it pretty impossible, as this would probably help even more with the same cause. Sometimes chance and random possibility are not what people want and they would rather pay to avoid causality's

As I said, that's how I feel. It is my opinion on the matter, for I was not speaking for the rest of Lioden.
