Earth, A place that mankind had fled from without having any thoughts on ever looking back. They took with them whatever they could grab when they boarded the Nephtesis to escape the disease that had been killing the earth. Four hundred years later, the supplies aboard the ship have become scarce, tempers are rising and fights have become more violent. But then The Plan is brought to the council leaders at the ship’s helm, to train the descendants of canines that had been taken onto the ship when they had fled earth. Equip them with cameras strapped to vests or collars and send them down to earth with the mission of finding safe havens, water sources, and recording the state of earth. But on the way down, the cameras feeding information to the ship go blind…and the engines begin to die on the ship. Now these animals are trapped on a strange planet, one some haven’t even heard about due to stories having died out, and there are hostile animals around every corner and the fact that a very violent and mutating disease may very well still be present on the planet. Will they survive and make it in this harsh new environment, or will they die out in it as well.

Platoon Rules
• The Chief is to be obeyed at all time, to back talk or even insinuate mutiny or anarchy is to be severally punished or killed.
• Food goes to the weak, pregnant, young, or crippled before others may eat. The Chief is too eat last.
• To go out after dark is to risk an unnecessary death, it is not to be done under any circumstance under punishment or being ‘Marked’ and shunned.
• If anyone is found to have the disease they are to be pushed from the Platoon and left to the elements by themselves till the disease takes them.
• To speak with an infected, get close to an infected, or become acquaintances with an infected is to be immediately put down by the Chief or General.

Days on Planet
This is the third day on the planet, the Platoon has found a place to stay by a lake a ways away from the crumbling farm house, barn, and stables. There are no dens set up and no real food has been found.
Season
It seems to be autumn, the few sparse trees are colored with reds and oranges and there is a bite of cold to the air. There is no telling how close to winter it is and the prey seems to be very scarce.
Weather
Thick dark clouds have rolled in overhead and rain may be on the way. There is no telling if the lake will flood or if the rain could be dangerous. Seeking shelter may be the best option.

|Monolith|Female|6 years and 8 months|Tibetian-Central Asian Ovcharka Mix|The Lake|Open to Interactions|

The white aging female laid on the edge closest to the water, her massive paws dipping over into the water as she stared out across the water calmly. Her eyes flickering to the rain clouds that were looming ever closer, thunder clapping loudly in the distance and cause a shudder to go through the big dog’s body. It was a noise none of the Platoon dogs had heard till now but at least it didn’t seem dangerous. But who knew if that rain would be acidic or not, they got lucky that this tiny thing of a lake wasn’t poisoned and didn’t seem to hold any dangers. It gave them a water source and a major landmark that wasn’t the decaying buildings to the west. Monolith heaved out a heavy sigh and forced herself up to her paws before looking around at this supposed ‘camp’. There were no dens, no places to sleep or to heal, they were out in the open for all to see…and that wasn’t good, they hadn’t run into hostile native dogs which was a blessing in its own way. Bit how much longer before they became a target for the hungry beasts that could be lurking about? Not that they’d be much of a meal, since they had been sent down there seemed to be no food around besides the small fish in the water that none of them could catch. ”If this is our luck, we may not make it long….Now with this weather we don’t have much of a choice…” Monolith growled out before stalking around in search of her General, fur standing on end as the sound of thunder grew closer with the rain beginning to close in. They had a decision to make, try to take the platoon to the buildings in the east, or wait it out here to see if it was dangerous.

|Hagan|Undetermined, Referred to as male| 3 years and 4 months|Mix breed mutt|Open to Interaction|

Nails clicked loudly over broken floorboards, paws dragging across the wood as the strange looking dog pulled himself up onto a haystack that had long since started decaying and smelled off dead rats and mice. But it was one of the more comfortable places to sleep since there was no way into the stupid people house, which was no doubt warmer then out here even without beings in there to warm it. Hagan’s amber-red eyes darting about for any signs of danger before he settled down comfortably, front legs crossed and hanging over the edge of the haystack, his strange second set tucked up underneath his sides, and his hind legs splayed out comfortably as he watched out the open door tiredly. The thin dog’s ribs showed like ridges on the mountain through his thin coat, this year’s prey had been scarce and next to none, only the rare lone deer providing him with food when he could chase them down to catch one. But it seemed luck would finally go his way, strange dogs had come, dogs who didn’t seem to know the harsh ways of this world, dogs who would make easy meals. It wouldn’t take much to hunt them down, drop on them from above in a tree and take one down. Hagan watched the incoming storm and shivered at the gust of cold air, his third eye closing tightly to avoid the cold. He could wait for the food to come to him…

|Iris|Female| 3 years and 5 months|German Shepherd-Catahoula Mix| Location: The Lake| Mentions: Monolith/Open

Iris's icy sapphire eyes turned to the sky as thunder rumbled loudly overhead, narrowing in suspicion, a sliver of fear lodging in her chest causing her hackles to stand on end. Never before experiencing a storm, she was wary if the approaching clouds, not sure how much of a threat they posed to her and the others. This land was unpredictble, and she knew that so far luck had been on their side, but how much longer would it hold up? Her nose was keen, eyes sharp, and teeth deadly, but still she could do absolutely nothing to prevent or control what happened to them here, having difficulty catching some measly soft-kill for dogs sake! Shaking her head, she turned her gaze back to the land around her, having left the camp in search of food, just something to make her useful. Unfortunately there was no prey in sight, and with the incoming storm, Iris decided to turn back to camp.

Pawsteps soft and silent, when the lake came into veiw, she wasted no time going to the water, lapping up the sweet liquid to quench her undeniable thirst. Lifting her head, she shook the dripping water from her jowls before finding a spot to rest, body practically collapsing to the ground before starting to clean the dirt and grime from her grey and onyx fur. Movement from the corner of her vision caught her attention, startled gaze landed on Monolith stalking by her. Why is she so tense?...this cannot be good" Iris thought tiredly,  trepidation creeping through her. If the cheif was anxious, that did not bore well for their situation. Why had this happened anyways, stranded on this dangerous and unfamiliar planet to survive, the humans just discarding them like yesturday's trash. Sighing softly she watched Monolith, ebony nose twitching, rain was decending upon them, increasing the dampness in the air. Great, what kind of rain were they about to incounter? Was this camp even safe anymore? Noticing her thoughts were getting a bit gloomy, Iris gave her head a shake, this was no time to be down. Turning her icy gaze away from the large cheif, she studied their makeshift camp, attempting to find a distraction.

Natasha | Female | 2 yrs. 8 m. | Belgian Malinois Mix | General
Location: The Lake ---Mentions: Monolith

With her paws crossed in front of her, the Belgian Malinois mix gazed evenly at the sky, her brows furrowed. Deep in thought, Natasha's ears twitched as an automatic response as thunder rumbled in the near distance. It took the sky another deep grumble before the dog actually heard the noise and sat up, her rump still on the ground. Her amber-brown eyes blinked and she finally settled them on the approaching clouds. They'd been here for three days, and this was something new. The General glanced over the platoon dogs around her, and then at the lake towards her left. That water was safe... but would this rain be?

It seemed that their Chief was having the same thoughts. The larger female approached Natasha with an even gait, and when their eyes met, the younger female thumped her tail along the ground twice in a greeting. "Those clouds don't look so good," she said lowly, an ear folding back as she glanced around to see who was in hearing distance. Luckily, not many. Natasha had picked a place under one of the sparse trees that edged around the lake, and taken up her space there. "What're you thinking?" she asked her leader, head cocked an inch to the side. Natasha had already decided that it would be best to move the platoon; now, she just had to wait and see what Monolith was thinking. If they agreed, things would be simple. Pack up and move out. They could do that much. In fact, that was what Natasha preferred to be doing: moving. At least then they were covering ground and finding new things. They needed to find a place good enough for a densite. They needed a safe place for the dogs under their command, and soon, or they'd start losing dogs.

With that thought in her mind, Natasha set her shoulders and swallowed thickly. Settling her gaze on the long-furred dog before her, the female waited for her response.

|Conrad| Male |4 years|Doberman-German Shepherd Mix|Medic | Near Lake | Mentions: None/Open

The broad-shouldered brute's brown gaze would draw over his entire surroundings, feeling the cooling pellets of water bounce of his coarse, dark coat. He was perched upon a flat-surfaced rock, gazing down a hill that led to the lake. The scattered gathering of his pack-mates reminded him of his new-found responsibility as one of the two medics in the pack; he would be given the task of ensuring his fellow companions are in good health. His jaws parted with a rather blunt yawn which signaled his fatigue from engine-lag, but there wasn't much time for rest as this uncharted territory would be full of unexpected surprises. What could be out there? he thought to himself, his paws shuffling slightly in discomfort as he contemplated on what he should expect to do in this barren waste-land.

|Tyra|Female|2 years|Husky-German Shepherd-Labrador Mix|Militia | Near Lake | Mentions: None/Open

Tyra trotted along the edges of the lake, feeling her paws almost ooze into whatever squishy earth she stood in. Her feathered tail wagged slightly as she exercised herself in stamina and endurance as her pace gradually built up into a jog. The restrictive vest which was firmly tightened around her thick fur had faltered her gait slightly, but she would train herself to get used to the discomfort.

The moving silhouettes on the opposing regions of the lake would be those of her platoon judging by the lingering, but familiar aroma which was recognisable against the unfamiliar scents of this terrain. She knew the storm was coming as the ominous skies would bare the tumbling, wintry clouds that flickered light in the distance, but where would they depart once the storm hits?Nevertheless, as there was no other present threat to herself being at the lake, she would continue her brisk exercise until any word of command by the chief was spoken.

(Sorry for short post; couldn't think of anything at the moment. ^^)

Leo | Male | 4 Years Old | Catahoula Cur Mix | Loner | Infected - Carrier
-
Location: Near Lake | Mentions: Everyone (Indirectly)

Pale blue eyes scanned the temporary camp from a safe distance with mild interest. Leo wasn't sure he'd ever seen such a large gathering of dogs before and he had a feeling these guys must be new or else they wouldn't be loitering around in the open. He watched them for a moment longer before turning his back on the group as the large female who seemed to be in charge began lumbering toward one of her comrades. It would be best to remain unseen by the strangers for now, but he would certainly be keeping a lookout for them. Nothing exciting ever happened on the ruined Earth. How could he not be intrigued?

Ashelia | Female | 3 Years Old | Borzoi x Smooth Collie Mix | Platoon Dog | Militia | Non-Infected
-
Location: Near Lake | Mentions: Conrad

The harlequin female jumped as a booming noise sounded around her, soon followed by a streak of yellow light cutting through the dark sky above. An odd and somewhat frightening sight, though neither occurrence had harmed the lone canine just yet. She had wandered away from the platoon momentarily while they were traveling to the lake and paid for it considering she had been left behind. Ashelia's head and tail drooped slightly. Would she be punished for breaking form and getting lost? The platoon's scents were growing stronger and her worry for the possible consequences of her curiosity washed away at the prospect of finding the others. She sprinted forward and before long one of the medics came into sight and she breathed a sigh of relief. She approached Conrad at a slower pace, dipping her head respectfully. "Greetings Conrad. Is the platoon close by?"

((I'm sorry these intros are kind of...not great. Intros are not my strong suit.))

Lilassy|Female|3.7 Years|Eastern Timber Wolf- Black|Location: Plains|Mentions: None- Open for Interaction
__________________________
The dark clouds slowly advanced on the mountain, growing ever darker and intimidating. Thunder boomed across the land, and lighting strikes could be seen. The anticipation of what the storm would do was nearly overwhelming.
Then, boom! Thunder seemed to shake the land, as fat, heavy rain started to fall. It was light for the moment, but the wind was picking up.
On the plains, the ear tips and fur of something black could be spotted by any dog in the makeshift camp. Lilassy was wandering, searching for food. She hoped to catch something before the rain hit. The wolf was starving- prey had been scarce lately. Her fur hung from her thin limbs. The last thing she ate was a measly hare a few nights before. As she walked, her scarf would sometimes get caught in a stray tan/gray plant. She would have to stop and untangle her possession, mumbling curses under her breath. This happened again, but a scent entered her nose. Deer. Lilassy thought, pausing. Her ears perked more, and she popped her head up from the tall grass. Not too far from her, a doe limped along. Lilassy's heart skipped a beat, and light returned to her eyes. Finally, food! The wolf thought, dropping to a crouch and starting to stalk the doe. She inched forward, barely making a noise. As the rain started to fall, Lilassy took action. She exploded from her stalk, sprinting at the doe as it attempted to bound away, startled. Both the doe and Lilassy could be seen, the occasional black tail and head popping up from the dying grass. Lilassy, being the faster of the two, quickly caught up to the doe. She ran along the side of the doe, before leaping to bite her neck. Lilassy's weight brought down the deer, and they both collapsed. Lilassy held onto the deer, waiting for it to still. After killing the deer, Lilassy got to her paws, breathing heavily to catch her breath. Her ears stayed perked, body tense, alert for anyone or anything that might steal her meal.

Arkin|Male|1.2 Years|American lab-Rottweiler Mix|Location: Camp|Mentions: Lilassy, Platoon
__________________________
Arkin was lying in camp, feeling lazy. He popped his head up, however, when he spotted Lilassy. Arkin stood, turning to the rest of the dogs and barking. "Hey! I saw something!" He said, his ears perked and tail raised. He glanced back, watching the wolf bring down the doe. "I-It looks like a dog! It brought down a deer." His excitement dropped a bit as he waited for an answer.

|Vulcan|Male| 2 years and 5 months|Corgi-Mini Aussie Mix|Medic|Near the lake, but away from the shore|N/A - OPEN

A storm's coming.

The young dog knew it upon waking up, before seeing the sky's ominous shades. It was a feeling in the autumn air that unsettled him. He was small, but he liked to think that he knew what he was talking about, but he'd never speak up against the large leader...

Sighing, he kept padding away from the lake. It could flood, he knew, but he didn't want to get too far from it nor the camp. He licked his chomps, sniffing around to see if he could find anything useful. His collar rubbed against his neck awkwardly, and he hated it. Why did the humans have to put these on them, just to become useless later on?

They were stranded. Third day on the planet, look what good it's brought them. Huffing in frustration, Vulcan laid down on the edge of some woods, resting his head on the ground.

Conrad | Male |4 years||Medic | Location: Near Lake | Mentions: Ashelia

"Ashelia-" he candidly responded as the familiar voice directed his gaze towards the recognisable female. He gave a curt nod in greeting before he rose onto all-fours, his gaze stern but with underlying concern and relief as he spoke, "Salutations, my friend... It is wonderful to see you here, and in seemingly good health as well I may naively add." A subtle smile would peer from the corners of his lips.

The dog would then proceed to descend from his observation post on the rock as his cool stare would draw along towards the direction of the lake, "The platoon is not far from here. Come walk with me." his voice gruff as he noted the brooding storm from the corner of his eye. Without waiting he would advance towards the scattering of canines who lingered around whatever makeshift camp they resided in.

As they walked, he spoke, "I assume you'll be presenting us with some reasonable explanation for your lack of presence..." he would halt mid-way, before turning to face the female, "But almost three days absence is very concerning. Are you okay?" his gaze softening slightly.

Tyra|Female|2 years |Militia | Location: Near Lake | Mentions: Vulcan, Arkin (indirectly)

Panting from all the exertion, she would turn away from the shoreline and trot back to higher ground. Camp seemed eerily quiet, and more importantly, boring so instead, she would stray away from camp to instead advance towards the surrounding woods nearby. Tyra's paws eventually guided her towards the supposedly content shepherd-mix laying along the outskirts of the forest, "Evening, Vulcan!" she would call out as she neared the canine before stopping a few paw-steps in-front of him to sit on her rump, "Well you seem like the happiest pup in the pack today." she would comment with a playful tease in her tone.

Before she would let him respond to whatever weird conversation that could have blossomed, her pointed ears would twitch slightly towards the sound of barking and immediately her gaze would follow towards the direction of the recognisable bark, "What's happening?"

Etus | Male | 1 year, 2 months | Golden Retriever/Husky Mix | Trainee(Chief) | Location: Near Camp/In Camp | Mentions: Arkin, Lilassy(Indirectly)

The young pup had been lying down, a bit away from the lake, trying not to think about their situation. Sure, they were stranded on a planet where they knew nothing at all about it, and it was going to storm, but at least they had Etus. Yes, Etus would make sure everyone was safe and be the hero that they needed. Of course they already had him, but he hadn't been put up to much work so far. A small smirk found its way onto his face, and he puffed out his shoulders a bit, showing just how amazing and proud of himself he was. A sudden crash of thunder made him jump slightly, but hopefully, it wasn't too noticeable. Clearing his throat, he went back to observing.

Blue eyes scanned the horizon and forest surrounding them, and was surprised to see movement. Sitting up in surprise, excitement tingling in his chest, he watched in anticipation, waiting for the movement to stop. As soon as it did he sprang up, leaping into camp, only to be seconds behind Arkin in speaking about the figure. "Yeah! I saw it too! We should go investigate, and see exactly what it is!" He exclaimed, bouncing on his paws. While he hadn't seen that it was, in fact, the form of a dog, he saw enough to know that they should go look at it. And who would challenge his judgement of going? Obviously no one would, seeing as he was such an amazing dog, they would all have to agree with him.

Vertin | Genderless(Biologically Female) | 4 years, 7 months | Great Dane-Saint Bernard Mutt Mix | Location: Forest, away from Platoon | Mentions: Platoon(Indirectly)

A small cackle was heard from the large mutt, and upon appearance, many would be slightly intimidated. Their face was curled in a crooked grin, both eyes aggressively searching the forest around them. Relying more on scent and hearing than sight, the creature crouched down, waiting for food to come by. It would end up being a while, they knew that, but however long it would take, they would wait, until at last they'd catch a filling meal. While they might get pretty cold, they didn't care. The large dens were too difficult for them to force their way into, and nothing really beat lying under a bush, waiting.

Letting out a small growl, they suddenly leaped up, scaring away all chances of a meal away. They just couldn't stand waiting for the food to come to them, instead of them coming to the food. Vertin should be drowning in food and be in a warm palace, being regarded as a god, not lingering about in the creepy old forest, hungry. Their stomach growled to emphasize the point, when an idea popped in their head. What if they hunted down the food that had arrived a little while ago? Or was it a long time ago? They couldn't seem to remember, but they also couldn't seem to care. If they could feed on those small, pitiful beings, then they would become the lord of the forest, hell, why not the whole world?

By now their laughter was so great, they almost couldn't breathe. Aburptly stopping their laughter, all of their ears pricked, and the sinister smile was back. Yes, they would do that, but for now, they needed to hunt. They needed to hunt to keep up their strength so they could overpower the weaklings. Narrowing their eyes, Vertin slowly slinked through the underbrush, their single blue eye seemingly glowing in the darkness.

|Monolith|Female|6 years and 8 months|Tibetian-Central Asian Ovcharka Mix|The Lake|Mentions: Natasha, Arkin, Etus, and Lilassy(Indirectly)|
Settling herself down beside her General she gave a nod, eyes focusing on the looming clouds above the open plains. The electricity that filled the air made her fur bristle, everything seemed charged and even the platoon seemed tense because of this. ”No, they don’t look good at all. Rain will probably cause flooding from the lake as well depending on how heavy it is.” She said, voice calm and even as she turned her gaze to Natasha, focusing her good eye on the other dog as she sorted through what she wanted to say verbally. To move the entire platoon smoothly and evenly, she would need the agreement of the other dog. Monolith could easily get them all to move out if she wanted, but it would be harder if Natasha was against the idea and opposed it. ”I’m thinking we move to those buildings off in the east before the real storm hits. It won’t do us no good if the water that comes from those clouds is poisonous in anyway. Do you agree or oppose?” She asked calmly, turning back to look at the two trainees came up barking about something that most-likely wasn’t of current importance.
”Arkin, Etus. We are currently discussing whether or not that rain could possibly be poisonous or even acidic,” The massive female spoke calmly, bringing her face down to level with her trainee as she narrowed her eyes. “The natives, who are more than likely infected and highly dangerous, if it is a dog that you saw, are not currently important and I suggest you both sit your tails down and listen as we may very well be moving camp.” Monolith stated, her voice raising to a low snarl as she sat back up and quickly calmed her demeanor, turning back to speaking with the shepherd mix.

Lilassy|Female|3.7 Years|Eastern Timber Wolf- Black|Location: Plains/Woods|Mentions: None- Open for Interaction
__________________________
Lilassy grunted, starting to drag her deer toward a part of the woods behind the camp, closer to the mountain. He had to stop every now and then to catch her breath or fix her scarf. Either way, the journey was very tiring. By the time she left the grassy field and entered the woods, she was even more tired and worn out than before. Lilassy sat, panting. She kept her ears perked, watching and listening for anything that could be close by. There were no birds singing, and not a mouse or squirrel stirred. The forest was eerily quiet- as usual when it came to storms. It wasn't as if the rain was deadly- oh, it wasn't. But storms like this could last for days, causing widespread flooding. Lilassy, along with most every other land creature in the area, was worried. The she-wolf would need to get to high ground fast, or she might face being caught in the flood. Once the female caught her breath, she dove into the deer, tearing at the meat, trying to eat it as fast as possible. She did not want anyone to steal her food, for it could feed her for many days.

Arkin|Male|1.2 Years|American lab-Rottweiler Mix|Location: Lake|Mentions: Etus, Monolith

Arkin, sensing that Etus had noticed the movement on the plains, ran with him to Monolith. On hearing her response, however, Arkin's excitement was drained, and his ears drooped. "Oh..." He said, a bit sad. "Well, I wouldn't think that life could live here if the rain was acidic, d-don't you think?" He dared to ask, looking up at the huge female. His tail had dropped, also. It hung limply between his legs. He looked mostly relaxed, but it was obvious he was a little embarrassed for getting excited over what was now nothing.

|Iris|Female| 3 years and 5 months|German Shepherd-Catahoula Mix| Mentions: Monolith, Natasha, Arkin, Etus (indirectly)

Iris's search for a distraction lead her to evesdrop on Natasha's conversation with Monolith, her spotted ear firmly fixed in their direction even as her icy eyes stared unseeingly into the water lapping at the shore. It was not her fault they neglected to notice her so close by, which was a common occurance within the platoon, considering she had not yet gathered up the courage to make a single relationship with one of the other dogs, making it simple enough to slip around unseen. 'Hmmm so not only is the concept of acidic rain a real possibility, so is the danger of the lake flooding, but why move to the old human dens?' She contemplented silently, her gaze now seeking the direction she knew the buildings stood. This was a dangerous gamble Monolith was proposing, considering that was the very place those deseased natives could be residing. Peeking over briefly, Iris noticed the younger members of the platoon were running up to their leader, barking about some canine they saw take down a deer. 'Really? I hunt until by pawpads bleed and find nothing, yet there was a deer this close by?' she though dejectedly. Arkin did have a good point though, would even the natives have managed to survive acidic rain? And what about the plants? They seemed relatively normal... Iris's ears perked as she waited for Monolith's reply.

Conrad's initial serious expression had her pelt nearly bristling with unease, and she momentarily averted her gaze before forcing herself to return it just as a small smile pulled at the edges of his mouth. "It is good to see you in fine condition as well. Did the platoon make it here safely? Is Monolith alright?" She found herself automatically asking after their giant of a leader. If any dog must survive it was her. She was the chief. The one the humans had chosen to see them through this mission. What would they do without her?

Ashelia was quick to follow the Shepherd mix in the direction of the lake once he left his former perch. As the shape of more dogs came into view her long-furred tail began to wag in short, joyful bursts. Only three days away from the platoon had felt like forever to the young female. As they grew closer the shapes became familiar and she was pleased to see everyone else had made it. She was, apparently, the only wanderer. That would probably not work in her favor.

She winced slightly as Conrad mentioned expecting a reasonable explanation for her time away. She had none. An odd looking creature no bigger than a rat had caught her attention and Ashe had followed the strange rodent into the woodland, curious to see if it was edible. The thought of feeding her packmates had clouded her better judgement. She hadn't even managed to capture the little beast. "I am fine," she murmured softly in confirmation. "It was...a mistake."

Persistent rain drops continued to splatter onto the mutt's wide head, pale eyes glancing up at the sky briefly as his lip curled in annoyance. It was time to move on. As much as the brown and white brute wished to remain and spy on the newcomers it was dangerous to stay on low ground or near large body's of water when the storms began. He was in no hurry to stick around that lake. As he turned to pad away back into the woodlands he paused, a single paw lifted in the air. Should he warn the strangers? His gaze focused in on the gathered canines for a moment longer before he shook his head no in answer and sprinted for the trees. They would need to figure things out on their own. They would never survive here otherwise.

As he weaved between the trees in search of the nearby hills the scent of blood filled his nose and even more so the undeniable stench of wolf. It was not his best decision, but Leo prowled after the unknown female and it wasn't long before he spotted the wolf gorging herself on a freshly killed deer. He said nothing, remaining hidden in the shadows. She could not eat that whole thing by herself. Eventually the larger canine's stomach would fill and she would move on to safe territory, hopefully leaving the scraps behind for scavengers. Namely him.

|Vulcan|Male| 2 years and 5 months|Corgi-Mini Aussie Mix|Medic|Near the lake, but away from the shore > On the way to camp|Tyra

Vulcan drew his ears back as Tyra approached, and he almost wanted to bury his muzzle under his small paws. However, he slowly stood up as she said something about a bark, shaking his pelt. "I dunno, perhaps you should go check it out?" With that said, he got to his paws and started towards camp on his short legs.

Didn't find anything useful. He confirmed to himself. I wonder what kind of sick joke this is, leaving a bunch of dogs on a strange planet to fend for themselves.

Sure, it wasn't like Vulcan didn't believe they would survive, but instead he didn't think it was very likely that they would survive unscathed. There were obviously other dogs around, dogs that might not be in the best of shape...
