If there's one question that's constantly asked here, it's what's the "right" price to sell/stud a lion. The short answer: there is no right price. You can try to sell a lion for whatever price your little heart desires.
Long answer: If you want your lion to be sold quickly, while still gaining some amount of profit from it, you need a basic understanding of economics. If something is new, or there's not a lot of it, people want it. On the other end of the spectrum, if something is old, or there's a lot of it, people don't want it. Those are two key factors that determine the true market here, and I'm not talking about the trading center.
I've gathered every base, marking, mane, eye, nose, and mutation below to create a basic pricing guide for selling/studding a lion. Please note that these are not rule, just a helpful little push. Updates for the guide will happen on the first of every month, and whenever a new marking/base/mane/etc is released.
Key
Bold Italics = Very Rare
Bold= Rare
Italics = Uncommon
Regular font= Common
Rarity is determined by the amount of in game lions that have the marking/base/etc. |
Bases
Bases are the base color of your lion. There are four categories: Wild, Custom, Event, and Breed Only. Any and all bases are breedable, so there's a chance you'll get those in cubs, thanks to the genetic system, but for the sake of simplicity I won't get into that.
Wild Bases
These are bases that can be gained from rollover kings or newly claimed lionesses (NCL's).
Albino, Caramel, Cedar, Cream, Cream Darker, Cream Lighter, Chocolate, Dark Golden, Deep Fawn, Dove Gray, Golden 1, Golden 2, Golden 3, Golden 4, Golden 5, Golden 6, Khaki, Lemon, Light Golden, Mongoose, Rosy Brown, Savannah, Sienna, Sundust, Sunflower, White.
Custom Bases
These bases are called custom bases because they are available through the oasis via a marking applicator or creating a custom lion. Wild bases are not counted, even though all wild bases are cutsom.
Almond, Auburn, Beige, Black, Bone, Brass, Brown, Chestnut, Copper, Dark Brown, Dark Fawn, Dark Vanilla, Deira, Dikela, Dun, Fallow, Fawn, Ginger, Gray, Hazelnut, Light Cream, Mahogany, Maltese, Onyx, Russet, Sandy, Silver, Silver Gray, Sunshine, Tawny, Vandal, Vanilla.
Event
Bases that are applied by event applicators.
Blush Rose, Hallowed, Ice, Inferno, Supernal, Unholy.
Breed Only
As the name suggests, these are bases you can get only by breeding.
Ashen, Cameo, Celestial, Cinnabar, Cocoa, Ebony, Fulvous, Kimanjano, Lilac, Maroon, Pearl, Prune, Sepia, Skyward, Slate, Udara.
Top three rarest bases
1. Kimanjano- 10 lions in game
2. Pearl- 162 lions in game

Eyes
Eyes are categorized into two groups, Regular (wild) and Special.
Regular
Amber, Black, Blue, Brown, Crimson, Green, Grey, Jet, Olive, Pink, Sandy, Tan, White, Yellow.
Special
Emerald, Ice, Cognac, Crystal, Hazel, Starshine, Sapphire, Saffron, Sunglow, Seafoam, Sinoper, Red, Hetero Blue/Green, Hetero Green/Blue, Hetero Blue/Brown, Hetero Brown/Blue.
Top Three Rarest Eyes
1. Seafoam- 16 in game
2. Sandy- 220 lions in game
3. Sinoper- 235 in game |

For the moment, I won't be dividing them into groups, since there aren't that many.
