He lifted his head in triumph as the lioness backed up. He looked at her more thoroughly and saw she was an adult, and had two other lionesses with her. Now he was the coward. Zync dipped his head. "I am so sorry..." Lifting his head back up, he sat down. "I'm Zync." He plastered a smile on his face. His head tilted in a cute, youn cub-like way. Zync jumped when he heard a growl and stared in the direction of two lionesses before turning back to the group of three.

Ali ruffled her fur and calmed down with the help of Karisa and Luana. As the young male spoke his name, she nodded. "I-I'm Ali. An-And these females are Karisa-" She pointed her muzzle at Karisa. "And this is Luana." She shifted over to Luana. She smiled back.

Karisa huffed as she noticed there were lions much younger than her, including Zync. Although an adult, she was a young one. She still had that cub instinct in her.

Luana was much larger than the average lioness and had somehow managed to scare the wits out of Zync. "I'm not the big scary lion who's going to eat you in your sleep." She chuckled and pressed her muzzle against Zync's. This seemed to calm him.
