This is a Sign-Up/Interest Check for a Pokémon RP consisting mostly of wild or feral Pokemon. If you want to sign up, there's a form below, and if you have any suggestions on how to better the storyline, I'm all ears! :3 The Myth... Legend tells of an island, far beyond the reaches of any human, where Pokémon live wild and free. There are vast rivers, towering forests, and a mountain that reaches into the clouds. There is a place for every type of Pokémon! But, this doesn't mean life is easy. The weak fall prey to the strong, packs of thug Pokémon roam the lands, and an all-encompassing mystery hovers over the heads of every Pokémon; How did they get there? What force brought them to the shores of this feral paradise, and why can't they leave? Perhaps the answers lie at the very top of the mountain, a place made invisible by a shroud of mist that gets thicker the higher you climb... That's the abridged version of the story. It's a place where Pokémon will randomly wash up on shore, or wake up after flying through a storm, and all with no memory of how they got there. As if some force is teleporting them there. Any ideas? Changes? Additions? Da Rules! 1. No GodModding! Shouldn't this be a given by now? 2. Only join if you know FOR A FACT you can be VERY active! I mean at least once a day. Seriously. 3. No Legendary Pokémon! No, you can't be Arceus. That's basically the definition of GodModding. 4. Only give your 'Mon moves they can actually have. Egg Moves are acceptable, but nothing they can't be taught naturally, no TM or HM moves unless they came from an old Trainer, and that must be included in their descriptions! 5. You can have shinies, but don't go overboard, okay? I'm limiting myself to two. 6. Minor design alterations are allowed, but again, no going crazy with it. 7. You can have a MAXIMUM of 6 Pokémon, just like a standard team, even if they never interact with each other. 8. I'll say it again, NO LEGENDARY MONS! I'm including Latias and Latios in this! 9. Keep your Pokémon's level BELOW 50, please. There will be leveling in-game, but it will be realistic. Well, as realistic as possible. Now for some... different rules. I'm making an alteration to the usual rules of Pokémon, mainly pertaining to the move pool. You're limited to 4 moves only in the games, but I've always found that annoying. Oh, you wanna learn Gust? Guess you don't know how to Peck now! >:T Seriously. But, I also don't want you to have an infinite number of moves, so here's what I'm doing. You can have 4 Physical moves, and 2 Status moves, for a total of 6. I don't count moves like Rest and Sand Attack toward the pool, since those are things that, realistically, anyone could do. I could kick sand in your face, and you would have a hard time seeing. Doesn't take a lot of skill. HOWEVER! Snore and Sleeptalk, those are moves that must be listed, as not everyone can do that. FORM <*IMG SRC=Optional*> Name: Pokémon: Level: Type: Ability: Nature/Characteristic: Held Item: Moveset: (Move(Type,Physical/Special/Status) Personality: History: Questions? Comments? Feel free to speak up! Also, I have the ORAS and XY games, so general Pokémon chat is always welcome. :3 Alright, guys! HERE is the RP thread! Don't jump the gun, though. I wanna make sure everything is perfect before we start. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 10/02/16 @ 01:11:41 by Kamaria (#73186) |

Name: Victoria Pokémon: Meowth Level: 22 Type: Normal Ability: Unnerve Nature/Characteristic: Careful, Quick Tempered. Held Item: None Moveset: Bite(Dark,Physical) Fury Swipes(Normal,Physical) Fake Out(Normal,Physical) Feint Attack(Dark,Physical) Growl(Normal,Status) Screech(Normal,Status) Personality: Born on the mean streets Saffron City, Victoria has always been a loner and a stray. On occasion she will make an acquaintance or two, and has been known to help a fellow 'Mon in need, but for the most part she despises groups. They lead to nothing but heartache. And she would know... History: During her younger years, Victoria was part of a roving gang of Meowths, lead by a Persian who had mastered the art of street smarts. Life was grand, until their faithful leader met up against an opponent he couldn't overcome. A foreigner, a Liepard, had decided to take their alley for his own, and so the two felines decided to have a battle. It was long, grueling, and in the end the Persian fell to his side, still. The Meowths all looked at each other, wondering what they should do, when from the shadows rose a huge group of Purrlons. The Liepard had friends... they all scattered, and Victoria fled into the distant woods to become a feral Pokémon... Years passed, and eventually her wondering had brought her to a shipyard. There were tons of Rattata, scraps galore, but there was also danger everywhere. After a particularly nasty skirmish between herself and a pack of Raticate, she found herself unconscious and adrift on a lifeboat, lost at sea. When she awoke, she was washed up on the shores of an island, without a building or human in sight... Name: Swipe Pokémon: Sneasel Level: 26 Type: Dark/Ice Ability: Keen Eye Nature/Characteristic: Quirky, Somewhat Stubborn. Held Item: Black Glasses Moveset: Bite(Dark,Physical) Feint Attack(Dark,Physical) Icy Wind(Ice,Special) Ice Shard(Ice,Physical) Hone Claws(Dark,Status) Taunt(Dark,Status) Personality: Swipe is a true clepto, and a habitual egg eater. He is the definition of bad. And he likes it that way! He prefers acting alone, but has been known to accept help on bigger jobs. Recently, however, he has started to rethink that idea... History: Swipe grew up in a gang, mixed Sneasels and Weaviles. His mother was a talented thief, while his father was the leader of the gang. You would think that would make like for little Swipe easy, right? Wrong. His father was constantly pushing him to train more, harder, wanting him to be the best. But that just wasn't Swipe. He wanted his freedom, wanted to be on his own! After an argument with his father that resulted in his ear being torn, he fled the gang to make his own way in the world. And what a world it was! He went everywhere, saw everything, doing whatever he could to survive. Eventually, though, he got caught. And like many gangsters before him, his captures tied his feet together and chucked him in the water, leaving him for dead. He nearly drowned, but instead of dying, he woke up covered in sand with his feet and hands untied! He immediately set to wandering the island, and just outside of the hot rocks where the Fire Types lived, he found an egg. He was originally going to eat it, but something about its beautiful blue hue... He kept it, and it now stays in his den, where he can stare at it wondering what it will become... Name: Poacher Pokémon: Zangoose Level: 30 Type: Normal Ability: Immunity Nature/Characteristic: Calm, Takes plenty of Siestas Held Item: Silk Scarf (He uses it for a ton of stuff) Moveset: Quick Attack(Normal,Physical) Slash(Normal,Physical) Crush Claw(Normal,Physical) False Swipe(Normal,Physical) Leer(Normal,Status) Hone Claws(Dark,Status) Personality: Poacher is a pretty chill guy, not one to get into fights unless he has to. He's also very lazy, and unless he's eating or finding a place to nap, he's probably taking a nap. The only thing that can really get him worked up is seeing other Pokémon getting bullied. He'd even save a Seviper if he thought it was being mistreated. History: Poacher grew up in Hoenn, right outside Meteor Falls. At night he would watch the stars, and during the day he would collect stones and shiny things. One day, he was caught by a trainer named Shaun, and he was given a lovely silk scarf as a gift. Together with the rest of his team, they fought their way to the top, but in an epic battle with a member of Team Magma, the Shaun's bag was tossed into the lava pits below. Shaun managed to grab some of his Pokéballs, but two of them went over the cliffs. Those two were Poacher, and Bathory... Name: Bathory Pokémon: Gardevoir Level: 42 Type: Psychic/Fairy Ability: Synchronize Nature/Characteristic: Rash, Good Perseverance Held Item: None Moveset: Magical Leaf(Grass,Special) Psychic(Psychic,Special) Disarming Voice(Fairy,Special) Draining Kiss(Fairy,Special) Heal Pulse(Psychic,Status) Calm Mind(Psychic,Status) Personality: Unlike her lax companion, Bathory is aggressive and temperamental, prone to snapping at Pokémon over tiny things. She is powerful, and she knows it, seeing herself as better than the average 'mon. Especially dragons. But, she has a sweet side to her, and that is the reason Poacher still travels with this explosive lady. History: Caught as a baby Ralts by the new trainer Shaun, she was raised on a constant stream of battles, which she grew to love. As a Kirlia she was unstoppable, and when she evolved Into a Gardevoir she quickly turned into the team powerhouse. Until Poacher came along. He had what she didn't; raw power. While she was a masterful Special Attacker, he held the sort of Physical strength that she lacked. And she hated him for it. She found herself brought out less and less, as her trainer preferred the Zangoose's False Swipe for capturing Pokémon for his dex, though she was still favored for battles. But, one day, as they faced off against a trainer who had very powerful bug and dark types, she found herself losing. For the first time, she was frightened, feeling that she would eventually lose. In a flash of light, Poacher brought himself out, and with a rapid-fire combo of Quick Attacks and Crush Claws, he brought their whole team down. He rescued her, and from that day on she considered him her secret friend. And that's why, when they both woke up on a strange island in the middle of nowhere, she stayed close to him as they traveled. They are still a team, even without their trainer... 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 10/02/16 @ 11:53:44 by Kamaria (#73186) |

Name: Tacota Pokémon: Growlithe Level: 39 Type: Fire Ability: Intimidate Nature/Characteristic: Hardy (No change) Proud of its Power Held Item: Firestone (wears around his neck on a chain) Moveset: Crunch (Dark; Physical) Fire Fang (Fire; Physical) Flame Thrower (Fire; Special) Dig (Ground; Physical - Trainer Taught) Agility (Increases Speed) Roar (Scares opponent away) Personality: Hardy, Daring, Bold, Reckless, tries to do whats right without always thinking things through. History: Was raised along with an Eevee and Riolu (may join with these guys later on) with his trainer who lost him in a terrible storm. The pokeball has washed up on the beach of the island. He loved his life and his trainer who saved him when he had newly hatched and found himself in a snowy environment up North of the land, she took him in and kept him by the fire, feeding him until he trusted her. He helped her win her first gym battle and the two worked well together. May I join if this goes ahead? =D)) Name: Max Pokémon: Riolu Level: 6 Type: Fighting Ability: Inner Focus Nature/Characteristic: Naive (Lowers Sp. Def for Speed Increase) Capable of Taking Hits Held Item: Scarf (Increases normal type attacks) Moveset: Quick Attack (Normal; Physical) Counter (Fighting; Physical) Dig (Ground; Physical - Taught by trainer) Endure (Endures attack with 1HP) Foresight (Allows Ghost to be hit by Fighting & Normal Attacks) Personality: Really shy, this baby pokemon was only recently hatched by his trainer and the first living thing he saw was Tacota, because of this Max and Tacota are basically inseparable. Max views Tacota almost as if he were his own father. Max doesn't know many words, for he's still a baby. History: The egg was given as a gift to his trainer Sasha for her 17th birthday, it hatched a few days before the cruise ship they were all sailing on hit a storm. When it hatched Tacota was the only one in the room watching it. The red scarf was given to him from his trainer to help try and boost the power of his quick attack. Name: Raiden Pokémon: Eevee (Shiny) Level: 25 Type: Normal Ability: Run Away Nature/Characteristic: Hasty (Lowers Defence for Speed) Likes to Run Held Item: None Moveset: Quick Attack (Normal; Physical) Bite (Dark; Physical) Swift (Normal; Special) Dig (Ground; Physical - Taught by owner) Baby Doll Eyes (Cute eyes lowers Attack of Opponent) Sand Attack (Lowers Accuracy of opponent) Personality: Raiden is very much a born leader and the starting pokemon of the trainer Sasha. Raised from level 5 with lots of love and affection, he is on the verge of evolving but into what? Raiden is not shy and will chat and approach almost anyone, he's incredibly friendly and welcoming. Not to mention fuzzy... all that fuzz. History: Was bred in a lab as a pokemon trainers choice of pokemon, when the three starters were taken Eevees were given in this Lab as a replacement which is exactly what happened to Sasha. Name: Sonet Pokémon: Pidgeotto Level: 32 Type: Flying Ability: Keen Eye Nature/Characteristic: Jolly (Lowers Sp. Attack and raises Speed) Alert to sounds Held Item: None Moveset: Gust (Flying; Special) Twister (Dragon; Special) Quick Attack (Normal; Physical) Agility (Raises Speed) Whirlwind (Blows Pokemon away) Personality: Sonet can be quite quiet when she first meets new people and pokemon, but once you get to know her, you understand she is very caring and listens intently, she rarely ever speaks about herself if she speaks at all. History: Sonet was the first pokemon caught by Sasha as a pidgey not long after she got Raiden. More history to follow! Name: Diablo Pokémon: Houndour Level: 33 Type: Fire/Dark Ability: Flash Fire Nature/Characteristic: Rash (Lowers Sp. Def for Sp. Attack) Mischievous Held Item: None Moveset: Feint Attack (Dark; Physical) Bite (Dark; Physical) Ember (Fire; Special) Sludge Bomb (Poison; Special) -Learned on the street Howl (Raises Attack stat) Leer (Lowers defence) Personality: Called Diablo for a reason, he likes to think of himself as a dark and evil pokemon but deep down he does actually care for others. Easily Jealous and competes for what he believes he deserves. History: Diablo got his name from living on the streets, he made a lot of friends with a wandering Absol and several Muk and Grimer of the city he lived in. Wandering the sewer he was always jealous of Tacota and Raiden when they would come by with Sasha to shop for food. Often Sasha would give him scraps and ask him to come along with them, but the truth was that street life was all he ever knew and the thought of going with someone scared him. However when Sasha went on the cruise to distant lands he stalked them without their knowledge and ended up in the same ship crash. 0 players like this post! Like? Name: Trick Pokémon: Murkrow Level: 24 Type: Dark/Flying Ability: Prankster Nature/Characteristic: Naughty, Somewhat vain Held Item: Sharp Beak Moveset: Peck (Flying, Physical) - Wing Attack (Flying, Physical) - Night Shade (Ghost, Special) - Pursuit (Dark, Physical) - Taunt (Dark, Status) - Confuse Ray (Ghost, Status) Personality: Trick has always lived up to his name. Mischievous, he loves playing pranks, stealing things, and otherwise generally annoying people and pokemon. Despite his Naughty nature, he rarely means any harm by his pranks. If something goes wrong, and someone is genuinely hurt or upset, it makes him feel terrible. Sometimes he'll apologize, and other times he'll simply run away, too embarrassed to face the consequences of his actions. He's not much a fighter, often too scared to actually face someone bigger and stronger than he is. It's difficult for him to make friends, since most other pokemon find him simply too annoying to be around. History: Trick has been a wild pokemon his entire life. Being a bird pokemon, he's had a certain amount of freedom others might not have, and has traveled to quite a few places in his life. He's lived in treetops and in cities both. Trick found living among humans quite enjoyable - they were so easy to tease, and if they weren't trainers, they couldn't get back at him for stealing something! - although he's never wanted to actually be caught by one. He loved the freedom his wings allowed him far too much to be tethered to a human's side. One day while he was out flying along the coast, a storm swept in out of nowhere. Trick fought against the wind and rain for as long as he could, but eventually his trusty wings gave out and he started to fall. He was terrified he was going to fall straight into the ocean and drown, until he hit a tree instead. Where had this mysterious island come from? It wasn't there before... ---- The color of her fur will change with the seasons, obviously. c: Name: Gracidea / Grace Pokémon: Deerling Level: 12 Type: Normal/Grass Ability: Sap Sipper Nature/Characteristic: Timid, Scatters things often Held Item: Pecha Scarf, worn around neck - prevents poison Moveset: Tackle (Normal, Physical) - Natural Gift (Normal, Physical) - Double Kick (Fighting, Physical) - Echoed Voice (Normal, Special, TM) - Fake Tears (Dark, Status) - Camouflage (Normal, Status) Personality: Gracidea is naturally a somewhat shy pokemon. She sticks close to the people she knows in any given situation. In a battle, she's not the first one to boldly charge to the front lines, but more often than not she leaves the battle feeling very excited and energized. She startles easily and is prone to crying of someone starts yelling. History: Gracidea was bred by a trainer as a partner pokemon for their child. From the moment she was hatched she was by a human's side, either the trainer that bred her or the School Kid that was her own trainer. The humans cared very much for her; they even taught her a TM move! She loved her life. One day, the family decided to take a vacation to another region via a cruise ship. They were partway through their journey when a storm swept in. In the commotion of the ship tossing and rocking, several items were swept overboard on accident. One of these items happened to be Gracidea's pokeball. Now she's woken up on a strange island, her pokeball broken on the shore, scared and alone. -- Name: Martin Pokémon: Vibrava (shiny) Level: 37 Type: Ground/Dragon Ability: Levitate Nature/Characteristic: Hasty, Hates to lose Held Item: None/TBD Moveset: Sonic Boom (Normal, Special) - Bug Buzz (Bug, Special) - Dragon Breath (Dragon, Special) - Bulldoze (Ground, Physical) - Sandstorm (Rock, Status) - Supersonic (Normal, Status) Personality: To say Martin is scatter-brained is putting it lightly. His attention span is about 3 inches wide. He flits about, easily distracted by anything and everything. Abrupt changes in conversation are pretty common when talking with him. He's also very proud - even a little snooty. He thinks himself a little better than other pokemon because he's shiny. History: Martin was caught as a Trapinch by a pleasant trainer after having lived out in the desert his entire life. Surviving in the wild as a shiny pokemon was hard, and he had to come up with creative ways to blend his odd blue skin in with the sand and rocks. He got lucky coming across his trainer, Danny, who was pumped that he managed to find a shiny pokemon. Martin was happy. Danny took very good care of him and trained him until he evolved into a Vibrava. Shortly after that, he was placed in a PC for a time while Danny worked on a breeding project. He was going through his (totally unorganized) PC boxes, releasing the pokemon that weren't up to his breeding standards. He made a mistake, and accidentally released Martin. Martin was terribly shocked and sad to find himself taken out of stasis, only to find himself on this odd island. He could tell he had been released. 0 players like this post! Like? I like them both! Trick looks like he would get along with one of the characters I haven't posted yet. >:3 They can start a gang together! I don't mind the Scarf, though I haven't played any of the PMD games myself. And for the Sharp Beak... maybe it could be like an extension on his beak, so you wouldn't really see it? I think I'll allow it. Yeah. 0 players like this post! Like? |

In the games, a Pecha Scarf stops the holder from being poisoned. I don't mind ignoring that if you think it could be too OP though, or just changing it to a Silk Scarf instead. I just really like the design lol. and yeah, I'd love to be in a gang! >:3 (wow never thought I'd be saying that) I wasn't really sure how to describe the whole Sharp Beak thing either. Again, wouldn't mind changing it if it's too complicated. He just won't have an item. c: 0 players like this post! Like? |

I think the Pecha Scarf is fine, there are tons of other status effects she can get. And the Sharp Beak is fine, too. It can be like beak extensions. XD 0 players like this post! Like? |
