[The Lore]
There are creatures that live around us, hidden in plain sight. They walk among the humans daily, through disguises by magic, human creation, or even in their natural forms. Myths and Legends have been made about these creatures, and some are true. Some. It may seem odd to a human to discover a Witch owns and runs their favorite coffee shop with magic, perhaps a Minotaur is the best football coach they've ever had, or even that their best friend is a Kitsune in disguise. To these creatures, keeping their true identities is as natural as breathing. They would do anything to keep the secrets of their world from spilling in the one they also inhabit. Times have changed, and while there are no ancient customs dictating how they live their lives, there is only one rule. One which launches 7 teens into a new world that is within their own; obscured by thousands of years of history and despair. And a rule that must not be broken at all costs, lest they put the balance of their divided worlds at risk.

[The Story Basis] (( I'm adding this because so many are confused about it. ))
The bonfire launches the 7 Selected Teens into a new world. They all started out as humans with normal lives before becoming the creatures selected by the Moon Goddess fabled to live near Oakheart Harbor. The Rp is about how they merge into the Supernatural World while keeping up with their own lives and the Human World.
Sharp twists and turns await them as they're actually the 7 elected to vouch for Humans to the Supernaturals, but also to vouch for the Supernaturals to the Humans should the time come. They will meet other Supernatural creatures in their town and explore it with a different view. This is the point of having a "Cast", so that we can all keep up with who's who and what's going on.

[The Government]
While some creatures think they should be able to present themselves to the world, they know better. Some of tried, all have failed. There is a distinct line between "Creature" and "Human" that a select few in the Government know of. They would like to keep it this way, believing themselves to be better than the creatures and trying to keep their populations under control as if they were wild animals.
As the Government cannot be in contact with the animals or launch operations, they have a hidden branch with the ID "H.H."; also known as "Hunters" by the creatures. By the Government they are known as "Her Helpers" so signify how they help keep "Her" (( America )) safe from the Creatures lurking inside of her.
Let it be known that the natural order in other countries is more... Lenient. Greece, some Asian countries, and Canada are known, by Creatures, for their hospitality and adhering to their history. A few have even made it into their Government Branches, signaling how supportive and considerate these countries are when it comes to their creatures. "Our history cannot be erased, you have been here since the beginning of our history. You shall be here at the end of it." is the quote/motto those specific countries go by.

[Location]
This Rp is set in a larger port-side town known simply as Oakheart Harbor. It isn't marvelous by any means, and is usually only busy in summer when the tourist start poking around. It's not small enough for "everyone knows everybody", but it's not overwhelming big either.
There are many small restaurants, but only a few chains here and there. There is a port for ships as well. Past the general swimming area are a few small islands, although they're usually ignored due to the myths surrounding them and also the strange happenings that have occurred there.

Forest Clearing:
This is a small area in the forest near the cliffs that many teens hang on on weekends or over summer. Police don't really check on it due to the fact it's a safe area and there haven't been any accidents that are party-related. They have more pressing matters to attend to, such as local disappearances. This is also the location of where the teenagers are deemed worthy of receiving the powers of their respected 'creature' by the Moon Goddess herself.

School(s):
The local school is separated into 4 distinct schools: Primary (Pre-K to 2nd), Elementary (3rd-5th), Middle School/Junior High (6th-8th), and High School (9th-12th). The basic classes, extra courses, and a few special courses are given.
The High-school is well funded and the main location students spend their time. It has a pool, a football field and track, large library, and other normal accommodations. They also hold monthly field trips to help their students 'experience the world'.

Cafe Brew:
A cafe run by a local witch that is open to any and all humans or creatures; she tends to hire teenage creatures and likes to note everything grown is organic and everything used is green and planet-friendly. While technology is usable, the owner does not encourage it and even denies getting Wi-fi. Most newcomers to the town are amazed by her green thumb and the Cafe is usually called "The Green House" by many native townsfolk. It's a hot spot for teen interaction as many adults deem the Cafe "too modern" for their tastes. It totally doesn't have a backroom for creatures should they want to drink their coffee in the "Secondary Cafe" the Owner hosts to help creatures relax when need be.
