Plot -
”Breaking news: Crescent City Bureau of Special Police Forces’ Lieutenant was murdered this morning. The CCBSPF Captain will be holding a press conference at 4pm to address the alleged perpetrators. There will be…”

This RP starts with the death of SCEPTER4’s Lieutenant, Gerrit Walker. The whole thing was witnessed by SCEPTER4’s King, Lewanna Yeager. He was killed by someone with a red aura, prompting tension between the Red and Blue clans.
*The Green clan is part of a plot twist that happens a little bit after the Rp has started.*

Kings -
Kings(or Queens) are the leader of their respective 'clans'. They are the most powerful in the clans and have great authority even over normal people in some cases. Kings are chosen by the Dresden Slates, a large ancient tablet discovered and experimented with in Germany, 1945. The slates gave power to seven people over the next few decades, giving them control/manipulation over their aura/energies. These seven people each had a different colored aura to represent their new inhuman power, which was also given the properties of a specific element, unique to that color. When Kings are present and release their auras, a sword appears above them and gives off powerful energy waves; these swords are called the Swords of Damocles. Each sword is different in some way, not including the swords shine different colors. Kings have choice over who they allow to control their color’s aura. They can’t take it back, but they have control over the activation. There are seven kings in total, but for now we will focus on three.

-The Red King, or 3nd King ("Aka no Ou" in Japanese).
-The Blue King, or 4rd King ("Ao no Ou" in Japanese).
-The Green King, or 5th King ("Midori no Ou" in Japanese).

The Red Clan: HOMRA

HOMRA's current King (Queen) is Lina Dawson. She will be played by me and her sign-up is on the first page. HOMRA is based in a medium-sized coffee shop (bar in the anime), named the same as the clan. The Red King's decisions are also influential to the federal government, but HOMRA is not directly affiliated to it nor does the government have to answer to them. HOMRA is commonly referred to as a gang, a group of thugs, etc however they do not commit crimes and are simply rambunctious. They consider each other family and rarely have any defectors because of their loyalty to each other and their king. HOMRA members use all types of weapons, unconventional ones being the most popular (bats, brass knuckles, unusual melee weapons, and unusual swords). HOMRA’s motto/‘battle cry’ is “No Blood, No Bone, No Ash!” They say it to hype themselves up before battle and in times of reassurance. Every HOMRA member knows it by heart and seem to say it whenever they feel helpless or need confidence. HOMRA’s hierarchical system does not have distinct boundaries, and seems to be the King, their senior members that have been around longest (or the older of the group), some normal members, and then greenhorns (or the youngest of the group). The Red Clan’s aura is modeled after the element of fire. Direct rivals - SCEPTER4.

The Blue Clan: SCEPTER 4

SCEPTER4's current King(Queen) is Lewanna Yeager. She is played by Dick Grayson, and her sign-up sheet in on page one. SCEPTER4 is based in a federal building with top of the line tech and security. They work with the federal government and many individuals with much power in the government answer to/are greatly influenced by the blue king's decisions(like individual members of Congress, or cabinet members *basically members of the president's 'posse' for anyone that isn't familiar with the American government*); however that being said the blue king must answer to Congress as a whole and the President. Its official name is "Crescent City Bureau of Special Police Forces (CCBSPF), Civil Registry Department, Annex 4". SCEPTER 4's role is to manage a registry and the whereabouts of "special foreigners", which is the term used to refer to people with supernatural abilities, such as Strains and Clansmen without a King or Clan, including their own Clansmen if they are to leave the Clan. They are incredibly loyal out of duty, and are respectful to their king and fellow clansmen alike. Less family-like than the Red clansmen, but with a strong bond of camaraderie. SCEPTER4 members only use swords. SCEPTER4’s battle cry is a little bit different than HOMRA's call for extensive burning. They draw their swords when preparing for battle, say their last name, then “ready” ("Yaeger, ready!"). Their hierarchy structure is that akin to military titles. The king is titled ‘Captain’, the second in command is titled ‘Lieutenant’, while the rest are normal members. They have strict rules and are very tidy - both with their belongings and their execution of missions. Direct rivals - HOMRA.

The Green Clan: JUNGLE

JUNGLE's current King is ___. (insert sentence of king). JUNGLE is one of the stranger clans. JUNGLE is based both from a phone app and a secret underground room leading from an abandoned warehouse. They are normally very reclusive and tend to dwell in the shadows, the 'mysterious' clan. JUNGLE seems to rather staying out of politics. However, recently they have developed multiple connections in business around the world and their technology use is the most out of the other clans, their social media influence is extremely high even though the public media itself is quiet due to JUNGLE’s rules. The Green Clan’s aura is modeled after the element of lightning and many of their unlocked powers are related to generating electricity. JUNGLE has a strange hierarchical system. JUNGLE itself to the outside human world is a gaming server, where you get a handheld console that tells you what to do and how many points you’ll get from finishing what it tells you. You defeat those targets, or complete assignments, and you receive points. Points then allow you to rise in rank. J-rank, or the highest rank, is the only rank with actual members of the clan, numbering around 4-10 people at any time. They are the top rank and are usually the only ones with aura control activated, J-ranks are the only ones that know of/can visit the underground room and are the only ones that have seen the king’s face.

Rules:
♛ I am the owner, Cinder Blaze (side-33027), and Red King. I have last say but I would rather a nearly unanimous decision with the admins and players in the rp.
♛ Dick Grayson (34810) and Sunfire (26490) are my co-owners, fellow kings, and admins.
♛ At least 4 sentences per post. Your sentences must be grammatical and have little to no spelling errors.
♛ Swearing is allowed but do not over do it, thank you. HOMRA is labeled as "ruffians" and "thugs" at times, and swears more than the other clans seem to, but they aren't gang members or a cult or anything.
♛ While the anime took place in a large city called Shizume City (likely based on Tokyo, Japan) the rp will take place in an urban city called Crescent City (if anyone is good at making maps of urban cities, please PM me or post in the chat thread).
♛ HOMRA and SCEPTER4 are rivals, not allies in the least, but not quite enemies. JUNGLE is the same, but neither HOMRA nor SCEPTER4 see the growing JUNGLE as a threat to themselves since JUNGLE is a more reclusive clan.
♛ No powerplaying
♛ Max of 2 characters to start with. If after a while there still isn’t many people in the clans, I will raise it to 3 or 4 - YOU MUST BE ABLE TO HANDLE THEM ALL (put “The aura is with me’’ in other *hehe, play on star wars*)
- ♛ In the beginning, you are not allowed to have more than one character in the same clan.
♛ JUNGLE clan members are inactive for a short time being right after the rp starts, then we will initiate JUNGLE members and message all players already signed up in JUNGLE. This relates to the plot and the clan being unknown to everyone around besides secret members *YOU MAY STILL SIGN UP FOR JUNGLE AS SOON AS THE SIGN UPS OPEN!*
♛ Understand character powers and limits. Members can’t defeat Kings, Greenhorns probably can’t defeat members, etc. *Just because it’s not likely they will win, doesn’t mean they can’t pick a fight anyways.*
♛ Put your clan’s motto somewhere in your sign ups...good job for reading past the requirement phrase *tips hat*. For JUNGLE sign-ups, put "I'm King of the JUNGLE".
♛ You need to post at least once weekly. If you disappear for more than 1 week, without notifying Cinder/me with a reason why, your character will be suspended and unable to be Rped until you PM Cinder/me.

Disclaimer(of sorts): This is an rp with its concept and pictures based off of the anime "K", also known as "K Project" if you'd like to look it up. The rp will be unrelated to the series, just have a similar concept/setting and the same groups. All pictures belong to the anime, K, and while they are tumblr, wiki, pinterest, etc, i will add their sources if later when the sign ups are ready to be opened. Please ask for sources, do not delete from original thread post without asking for their sources since its all screenshots that people posted from the episodes. I will gladly post them later when i have time to grab the same pictures, but again, the thread is not yet finished, thank you to any mods reading this.
