Vader laid there, letting Jojo work. "I want to let go of this fight. But, I feel there is no way that Soul or Ashe will forgive me for the things I said." he sighed, opening his green eyes. "I never meant to snap. I didn't mean call her a runt. Truth is, out of our litter, we were the only two that made it out of five. I was first born, strongest, and she was the runt. My younger siblings, her included, got sick. They started dyeing, one by one. When she was the last sick one left, my parents didn't know what to do, but one day, the sickness went away. Imagine that." he smiled. "The first born and a runt being the only survivors. Out of all the pups that were born that spring, only a few of them survived the sickness. I saw strength in her, so from then on, I promised myself that no matter the situation, I would always be there, to protect her." Vader sighed. It was his fault he left, not hers. He kept his promise, he would never break it.

Ashe made it to the river, collapsing near the edge, tears soaked her fur. She could feel someone over her, then something touched her. Taking a moment to test the scents around her, Ashe noticed it was Soul. He was trying to comfort her, doing it the best he could. She had nothing to say to anyone, no words could escape her mouth. She laid there, hating Vader, hating herself. They have had fights before, nothing this bad though. She could still taste his blood in her mouth, and it made her want to throw up. How could this happen? It was the worst feeling in the world. Being the only two born in their litter, they had a strong bond with each other. How could something this bad happen?

Jojo listened quietly. "Just tell her the truth. Just apologize. No matter what, you two are siblings. Proper siblings should be there for one another, to build each other up." Her chest grew painfully tight, remembering her own family. "I was a runt too, not very surprising, but the rest of the litter survived. They where much stronger than I could ever aim to be, so I chose a profession more suited to someone like me." She gave a weak smile, biting the cord for the last stitch. "Go ahead champ." Jojo cocked her head towards his sister. "Show her you still love her. It's not too late to make amends." She was about to give him a friendly nudge before being nearly toppled over by another wolf.

Jumping back back from what she was doing, Jojo whipped around, ears pinned back and teeth bared. She relaxed as she realized it was another wolf, but still wore a scowl as she confronted him.

"Watch where you're going, Bigfoot! I could have potentially ripped out a stitch!" She barked. There where three things that she would not tolerate. Early mornings, irrational rudeness, and others interfering in her work, especially in delicate matters as these. "If you need something, he's all yours." She finished, picking up her remaining supplies before turning sharply towards the injured female. Not really paying attention to her surroundings, she made a mental note to herself to restock. And grab a bite to eat. As she snapped back, she noticed the alpha and the female sitting quietly together. Setting her ears awkwardly to the side, she backed up a few paces. "I-I'm sorry, maybe I should just come back later. . ." She mumbled out, turning towards the carcasses, her pelt feeling hot. She didn't feel. . . jealous, or even frustrated, but what she did feel was confusion. Had she missed something between the two? Nodding her head, she picked up her pace, reaching the sad remains of the carcasses. She wouldn't get to close to the alpha, then.

She gave a whimper as she looked at the pitiful morsels left on the carcasses. Setting down her bundle, she nosed around, disappointed but not discouraged, searching for some good sections left.

Feeling the unease and guilt flowing off of the small silver timber female, Soul just eased himself down behind her. His head resting between her shoulder blades and his fore paws tucked in behind her elbows. As if he were trying to hug her in some weird way. I know the feeling: guilt. I know what it can do to your mind and heart. It's something you honestly don't want to think too much on or else its going to drive you insa e, trust me on that. He said, speaking in a calmer tone of voice than his usual raspy and rude set of vocals he used around everyone else. But seeing this was a delicate manner with an upset female, it wasn't a time to use them. Shifting a little so his snout could tap her cheek in a friendly perk your fucking head up manner, he gave her a small but rare smile. And I know what you're thinking. Why did we fight? You and Vader. But siblings fight. All siblings will fight no matter the situation, setting, age, etc. It's something we will ways do. And it also gives us a way to vent. Like Vader seemed to have done which ticked you off suddenly facing the blunt end of his fangs. He had to deal with all your crap and now for the first time you have to deal with his. And look at how you took it? He said with a slow shake of his head as he leaned more onto his left limb to look at her with a serious gaze now. I know I'm not the best brother Czar could ever have but I'm always there for him regardless. Which is what you'll have to do for Vader. But I suggest you too take a breather before you both apologize.

Aww, I think that Azalea and Zephyr will go well together. I'll admit it just for Lady's sanity, since they seem to be getting confused. xD)

Ertos
The male flinched when the smaller canine snarled at him, flattening his ears to the sides of his head. For a smaller pack member, Jojo was certainly intimidating. He shuffled his paws around and looked at the ground, embarrassed. "I-I'm sorry, madame. I just wanted to watch." Ertos apologized and watched as she walked away after Ashe, as it looked. He went over to the bear carcass, ripping part of the tough pelt of an pulled out the fur. He then practiced what he saw Jojo doing , ripping it into strips like hers. They were messy and uneven, but it felt good to Ertos. Stress relieving, even. Seeing Jojo return to the area, he picked up the strips in his mouthy, the male's cheeks warmed up, embarrassed once again that he was copying what Jojo had done.
