I have some white lion pelts, I used all but the last use on nesting, the last use is for eventually crafting the decor, if my kings ever go evil again to get the pelts again that is.

I am saving my breeding items for when I get a jellyfish from slots, just in case I manage to breed a fatal cub mutation. I really want a conjoined with fiery base, which will be hard as my king will have trouble throwing fiery now he is a Maltese.

Melanistic, blind, and eyeless are my personal faves, not counting the obvious Leopon or Dwarf.. And I love foldies.. my side's first mute was a foldie. XD

For the studding, we're both in two of the same clans as well, so there might even be a whole slew of discounts.. I don't mind if there's not tho.. XD
And yeah, i know, the prettiest, best matching parents can throw uglies.. i saw it with my previous king and queen. XD

I think lion pelts become available at -100 or -120 karma. it has been a long time since I was evil so I don't remember that much about it.

I have been VLF breeding for over a year (human not lioden) and I still haven't had enough luck to get a natural mutie D: so sad, but muties are really rare when not using items, which is as it should be.

I finally had a good enough King with Brule IV to totally internally bred my lionesses. but breeding your own VLFs all the time, with no studs helping ever, drains the energy so much. I can't get everything from events I want because I spend all the energy breeding the 2%. However I have so much more sb now, so it is kind of even trade off.

I'm hoping my king will produce a little clone of him that I can make my queen :D though Brule III's queen is still around for a while longer

lol. my Previous king (chathvaluk) was a custom made, so his queen was an identical copy of him.. and still they produced ugly little monsters. XD

I've had a grand total of two natural muties.. and one wasn't even with a VLF.. (that would be my side's Foldie, his mom is Goddess), but my main's Achromia was born to a mom at the higher end of the VLF scale (like 37% or some such). (for clarification, i have 2 foldies(1 on main(from Sassdash), 1 on side(natural)) and 1 achromia.)

And i wish my king was good enough to not need to stud.. but i use my Penta-vit side alot. and i used to use Dashie's Skyward before she left.. :(

I keep the cubs I would breed from, and I don't falcon anything, so I have a sneaking suspicion I have bred an adult mutie but I sold/killed it.
But I wouldn't keep a mutie for just being a mutie if she was ugly. Must be semi-pretty of have markings in slots I want to be worth keeping. which is why I am up to number 154 on my auction :)

I am aiming towards having a quad celestial, well technically quint, as I want double speckles slot 8 and 10. I have slot 10 in my den and my king is a quad slot 8 so hopefully my plan will come together soon-ish :) but I won't need to outside breed unless it is to get more slot 10 speckles. However I am keeping marozi, panther and siam out of my den where ever possible *slides quad panther lioness under a rug*

lol. I haven't Falconed cubs in a very long time.. but i did on my last batch.. to much dissapointment.

I also really wouldn't want a fugly mutie.. but my Achromia was bred from my rolled king and a NCL. XD

And i also effing love Savage mane *drools* >.> I honestly hope my next king will be lucky enough to have Savage mane, but if not, i'll just keep trying.. XD

hmmm, your fav is savage hallowed isn't it? you can always look for and gender change a female. the wardrobe update is great so you can check how you could change a cub you see on sale to make prettier.
Simply playing in wardrobe to find a dream design can be really disappointing as it is generally an impossible design.

Savage mane is dying out in my den, I think I have 2 females carrying it, but thats all. My kings have been regal or tranvaal for too long for much else to be carried (besides the normal, scarce and thick). I do really like tufted but it doesn't sit as nicely with the white foreshadowed I am trying to get in my den.

at least with acromia and melanistic you don't see the ugly :D

Skarrn's king is really dark, but it all fits together nicely, especially with the hallowed savage :P

Sorry to pop into your guys' convo but would either of you know the best possible Combo of items to use for breeding mutes? I know some stuff doesn't stack...just not sure what .. I've been skimming the boards for opinions and the best I could come up with is Buffy balls+ cotton root + GMO/lion meat. Am I missing anything? Also would fert. matter in that Combo?

oh ho ho Arlan you come to the right place. first think about if you want a specific mutation and if it is dependant on gender )female mane vs maneless male), at which point you can think of using a red cock or great tit.

cotton rooting the previous pregnancy to improve possability of mutes in next pregnancy does not clash with any item slots that I know, so it is always worth doing that. just don't make the mistake of using it ON the pregnancy you want to keep.

Buffy balls is a must for me, 3 guaranteed cubs gives you so much more chance of a mute than the most likely 1-2 cub litter you'd get without using it.

as for chance of actual mutes,
GMO +++
Lion Meat ++
Per 1% fertility +

so best option is cotton root, then next pregnancy buffy ball and gmo a 1% lioness. Lion meat, gmo, and lion balls do not stack.

Ah thanks Meso! ^^ This helps much. I didn't think to factor gender into it. But I just want a horde of polys so I don't think it matters Lol....well I guess it would cut down the chances of getting all those mane mutes if I used a red cock though :/ decisions

red cock is probably worth, in an all male litter you have a much higher change of poly, just because there are less mutations to choose from. but of course once you have 1 poly you can just lion ball the shiz out of her, (that is lion ball and buffy ball her pregnancy). personally if you lion ball there is no point cotton root barking, it would just change the possible mutation in the cubs from the one the mother has, which is basically like cotton rooting a normal litter.
