A pure white wolf sits in front of a group of confused dogs. “Welcome home young ones, your journey begins here, in the place of your birth. You’ve all come home from different backgrounds, but all dogs begin and end here. Yes, end. You’ve all had fatal accidents, however, none of you are ready for what is next yet. Fate has summoned you here for a reason, and there’s still work to be attended to. We need creatures to walk through the veil between worlds, thus why you have all been brought here rather than passing on. Your mission is a dangerous one, but should you accept, you will be heroes to your own.”

The realm of light and that of shadow had been competing over the Earthly realm since the dawn of time, locked in a perpetual stalemate. It had always been acceptable to the light, and frustrating to the shadow, and soon a way to change the rules was added in. What happens when the stalemate becomes a true game? War is raging, hidden from mortal view. Champions are to be chosen as a last hope of tipping the scales back into balance. However, treachery is afoot, even for the champions. The shadows have eyes and ears everywhere, they constantly tempt those of light to corrupt them and drag them into the shadow. Can these heroes withstand and succeed in their training, their mission, their purpose? Can they become the heroes that the Light side needs?

1. Be respectful of all.
2. This rp is LGBTA+ Friendly! If this is a problem for you, don’t join.
3. Fade to black applies on sexual scenes and births. It doesn’t apply to deaths, so long as they aren’t graphic.

5. No killing other people’s characters without permission
6. When fighting another character (unless they are both yours, or one is an NPC) AIM to attack, give chances to block or avoid your character’s attack. Example: “Kay lunged forwards, attempting to snap her teeth around the insolent brat’s neck” (Good) Rather than… “Kay lunged forwards, snapping her teeth around the brat’s neck, instantly severing their spine.” (Bad, the other character had no time to respond with a possible block or avoidance. This applies just as much on non-fatal blows as well.)
7. Make fights realistic, one dog can’t take on 2 dogs, or a dog twice their size and NOT come away hurt somehow. These characters are far from invincible.
8. Put the link to some sort of funny image in your “other” category, but please don’t post the image itself. I don’t mind copy/pasting a link or clicking on something.
9. Please try to be literate. Even if your reply is 3-4 sentences, as long as it follows proper grammar, you should be fine. (However if your sentences are like this “Kay liked the food. It was very satisfying. She took a bit more to go eat elsewhere.” I will ask you to write more. If they’re sentences like mine, that have about 10 commas and should actually be closer to 7 sentences? You’re totally fine.)
10. It’s okay for your character to dislike another character. It is not okay for you personally to hate on another character, or for you personally to hate on another roleplayer.
11. If making multiple characters at once, please put them in the same comment. If it's been time since you last made characters, and an acceptance has been posted on the first comment already, post in a different comment.
