Cedarstar was content, his attention set on Gingerkit. He turned to face her, getting into a crouch to pounce, though he was bluffing, not wanting to hurt her. He took light steps towards her, ears set back playfully.

Snowpelt
Snowpelt woke in her den to the sounds of a squeal of a kit. She emerged from the brush and watched as the leader and a small kit pounced around playfully. She adored kits, and the leader was always so serious it was nice to see him being playful.

Gingerkit
She slowly readied her haunches as the leader moved towards her. She was enjoying having full attention for once.

Cedarstar hadn't noticed Snowpelt, and in turn kept playing with Gingerkit. He shot out a paw at her ear again instead of pouncing, making a mock-hiss. He didn't let himself get too intimidating, though. The tom waited to see what her next move was.

Gingerkit became very still, and then sprung her small body on to Cedarstar. She playfully nipped his ear and attempted to wrap her legs around his back. But her legs were still short, and only went a few inches down the sides of his back.

Cedarstar let himself be beat, pressing low to the ground in defeat. "Will you give me mercy?" He made a deep mew, mimicking a battle-worn warrior. He pressed down low enough to look up at her, a quiet rumbly purr in his throat.

"Oh, I guess. Victory!" Gingerkit mewed as she rolled off the leaders back. The sun was warm on her belly, and she began to hear the mews of the other kits.

Ravenheart woke up shaken as to her bad dream about another daring attack from another clan. The last time it happened, it killed her mother. Ravenheart padded out the den to see Shadowclaw by the fresh kill pile. She smiled a little that he was somewhat comforting to her. When shadowclaw was around, danger was miles away and this made her feel safe again. She padded off towards the pile to greet him, but a chill came across her. She known Newleaf was upon them but this time it seemed like winter was still here. She then made her way to the pile.

Cedarstar stood up on all four paws, shaking himself off and licking a few tufts of his fur back into place. "I have to go, now," He bid Gingerkit goodbye with a gentle flick of his tail, strolling away towards the fresh-kill pile to eat.

Knowing very well that she couldn't spend all day in the Warriors' Den, Doeheart pulls herself away from her nest and trots out into the open moor once again- this time no bees in sight. A sudden rumbling in her stomach tells her she should eat, but she shakes it off upon deciding that she can hunt once she leaves camp.

A gentle gust of wind blows and she breaks out into a jog upon smelling a rabbit.
Spotting the white-tailed mammal nibbling on a patch of grass causes Doeheart to immediately run towards it- knowing that she can quickly catch up to it should it run away.
A mere mousetail away from the rodent, Doeheart trips on her own feet and lands face-down in the grass.

She spits out dirt from her mouth as she watches it fade into the distance- a rumbling stomach reminding her that she'll have to try again later.

Upset and slightly deterred for now, Doeheart decides to make her way to The Gorge and rests herself on a nearby rock overlooking the sheer drop straight into violent waters below. Her mind drifts towards Riverclan and she wonders if even they would be able to fight against the vicious currents.

The sun beaming down on her back, the beige she-cat unintentionally drifts off to sleep- not knowing- or particularly caring- if she'll get caught slacking off by another cat.

Waking up with a jolt, Sunpaw leaped to his feet. How long was he asleep? He scrambled outside to see part of River Clan milling about, but he was certain he heard snores coming from the warrior den.
Seeing that Shadeclaw was over by the fresh kill pile, he pounces over, ready for a new day of being an apprentice.
"Morning Shadeclaw! You look like your usual."
In the corner of his eyes he sees a slight annoyance on the dark toms face.
Sunpaw decides to ignore the rude face looking at him as he searched through the pile to find the medium size mouse he caught yesterday. He finds the tail jutting out, it was buried by a vole. Moving aside the carcass, he picked up his kill that he caught and went over the river to eat.

Ravenheart looks at the young apprentice and smiles. Good morning Sunpaw!I see your up and running today. She turned from the pile and sat looking at the apprentice with a excited expression.

Sunpaw moves to sit by Ravenheart. "I thought I woke up late! I had the best sleep ever last night."
Taking a gulp, he looks into the warriors eyes. "What are we going to do today? Knowing you're my mentor and all.."
Sunpaw raises an eyebrow, anxious to hear what the day will hold.

Ravenheart smiled and took a step closer to her* When your ready we can start practicing for your first hunting assessment. Your getting closer and closer and by far your the most interesting apprentice I ever mentored. You will make a great warrior. And that is not too far off either. When you got your pick of the pile and finish eating, come find me okay :) Sunpaw?

Moonshine woke up to hear scuffling outside the den. She stretched and noticed her belly was still huge after birthing 2 months ago. She sighed and exited the den to find Gingerkit climbing all over Cedarstar. "Gingerkit! How many times have I told you to not wake everyone else in the clan up?"
