The lands were once barren and almost lifeless, but the humans who had made the Area into a barren wasteland retreated, leaving their dogs behind. Over many generations the dogs of this time came to form a pack, which has changed and evolved over time. But now, even years after the plants and animal life has returned, a sickness has begun to spread across the woodland, causing animals, including dogs, to lose control and attack anything that gets in there way. This sickness is contagious and horrifying, the dogs have called the sickness the dark, also know by humans as "rabies". Will your pack survive the sickness? Or will you have to move to where you believe you are safe from the sickness?

~ please note that betas, alphas, and omegas don't have to be mates from the start or throughout the RP, but you can be if the other person is ok with it.
~Only a limited number of wolf dog half breeds are allowed here, so please ask before making one. 1/2 taken so far (not including my character Connor, he would make the third)

Rank definitions:

Alpha- A pair of dogs, usually of the opposite gender, who lead the pack and show dominance over all others.

Beta- A pair of dogs, usually of the opposite gender, who are the second in command and help the alphas maintain the pack, they will become the alphas once the alphas retire, or pass away.

Delta- Lead warriors, help to organize and train the other warriors and pups.

Epsilon- Lead hunters, maintain and guide the other hunters, they are usually the fastest wolves in the pack.

Zeta- warriors of the pack, in charge of making sure the camp stays well protected and safe.

Eta- Hunters of the pack, in charge of making sure the pack is well fed.

Lota- The healers and Medics of the pack, usually find that they rather healing than hunting or fighting.

Gamma- Elders of the pack, are often a resort for advise and guidance

Theta- Pups of the pack, usually younger than 2 years, but pups start to try and prove themselves at about 1 year, but they are still considered Theta.

Omega- A pair of dogs, usually of the opposite gender, who are considered the lowest rank in the pack, they might be the lowest, but that doesn't mean the pack could survive without them. They don't have many talents to keep the pack protected or fed, but they do keep the pack content and happy, without them it would be a solemn place.

Loners- Dogs that have no place in any pack, but in the RP they must join the pack or at least interact regularly so that the RP stays even.
