 EDIT- Re-visiting sense Xy is adding markings lately clearly not found on felines XD Maybe this could also be a RMA marking? Looking at my dogs today, who are both blue merles, I figured i would pitch the idea of this beautiful pattern I figure maybe do like 2-3 different versions, so there is some variety Example: Merle 1- big splotches (as seen in picture) Merle 2- medium spaced splotches Merle 3- minimal spotting also allowed with many different colors Idea for lethal white- chance of lethal or non lethal Merle in same slot in both parents- chance of lethality (low) merle in different slots in both parents- no lethal, deaf and blind/ shrunken eyes (again, low chance) One parent carries only- no chance of lethal white    LETHAL WHITE MUTATION CHANCE  |

No support. I saw on a thread for thylacine markings that only feline based markings would be accepted, aka nothing from other species (Xylax joked about no Okapi markings). I've seen that panda and bear markings have also been shot down. I don't know if that is no longer the case, but this doesn't occur in felines. I kind of see an issue with this. Firstly I'm going to say as a mutation idea, I find it adorable. But it's not a feline type marking unfortunately and I think those are important. The other problem would be that it would be extremely easy for people to breed the hell out of them - even without items. Grab a king with it in one slot, or even in multiple by the times youve bred it enough and a momma and BOOM! Insta-mute. I would kind of prefer to see this as a marking - with a SMALL % of becoming a base IF you breed it right, but for a mute how it's currently explained, as much as I love them, I can't support it. Maybe if you made it so you had a 0.5 - 1% chance [Again because it would be easy as pie to manipulate it by just having the two marking method otherwise, and mass breeding would make it quite pointless] Edit: spelling 0 players like this post!
