September Event: The Harvest

Alderfall

The sky started to get dark, and Alderfall could just feel what was about to happen.
"You have to go," He says to Cloudstar.
He gently shoves her. "Go, you have to get to your den."
It starts raining.

CloudStar

CloudStar stared at the sky, flinching as rain hit her nose "and leave you? Not happening" she meowed "as you said, it won't hurt me. It's a stupid fear I need to get over" she glanced at him, then back up at the sky, her ears flicking away rain. Her eyes showed that it was taking a lot of her strength to simply sit by him rather than run back to camp

Alderfall

"You need to go, I don't want you to stay here for me."
He hears a bit of thunder, and looks over at Cloudstar, whimpering for her. His stomach pangs, and he softly yowls.

CloudStar flinched at the thunder "I'm not leaving, AlderFall. Nothing you say or StarClan does will make me change my mind" she meowed, her voice suddenly harsh as she looked down at him "I don't care how badly I want to go back to camp, I wont leave unless you're well enough to come." Her voice lowered a bit and she lowered her head "you're too important to be left. You stayed with me through one of my toughest times, I'm not letting a simple fear make me leave you in one of your toughest times"

Alderfall

Alderfall smiles at her response. "Well, let's try to get back... in one piece," he says, his legs wobbling as he stands.
His stomach felt extremely bloated, but he ignores as much pain as he can, glancing at Cloudstar.
"We can take small steps. I'm not giving up yet, I promise."
His stomach growls, and he bites his bleeding tongue again.

Quickstep

Quickstep ran into camp, got the herbs, and was on the way back when it had stared pouring rain. She ran faster.

CloudStar softly balanced him so he was putting more weight on her rather than himself, then nudged him back down "QuickStep should be on her way back. We're staying right here until I know you're better" she meowed "I can tell you're in pain, and I don't want to put you through more pain just because you think you're well enough to walk" she set her tail over his shoulders so he wouldn't try to push his limits any farther

Alderfall

Alderfall groans, lying down on his side. "Does it feel... weird.. anywhere?"
He groans again. He smelled disgusting, but knows Cloudstar wouldn't take no for an answer.
He really wanted to try and get back to the camp, but he suddenly felt another pang coming on, and yowls.

CloudStar glanced at him, her ears lowered in worry. She didn't respond, her gaze turning to the sky as she hoped for the rain to stop and hoped AlderFall would be fine before long

Alderfall

As Alderfall tried to focus on the sky, he saw a string of lightning through the clouds.
He looks at Cloudstar for once, seeing her worry. He groans softly, seeing the clouds swirl.
He says softly, "It's so beautiful."

Quickstep bounds up. "Ok, so She said eat this first and it will make him vomit up the poison" She set down one herb, "and then eat this to help with the after effects" She meowed as she set down a small leaf bundle.

(Sorry I was so lazy, don't feel like identifying herbs at the moment...)

Alderfall

Alderfall eats the first herb, gagging at the taste. He sees Cloudstar looking at him, and feels embarrassed.
Shortly after, he throws up his whole stomach. Tears roll down his cheeks, and his ears prick at the sound of lightning.

CloudStar looked down at him, the worry in her eyes replaced with false harshness so QuickStep wouldn't know how she felt about AlderFall--or know about her fear. She looked up towards the sky, trying to ignore the rain, thunder, and lightning

Quickstep

Quickstep was just as worried as Cloudstar, and didn't try to hide it. She looked up at the sky and flinched when she got water in her eye. She waited for Addefall to Finnish and eat the other herbs so they could get home before someone else got injured or sick.

Alderfall

Slowly eating the second herb, Alderfall finally began to feel the pain very slowly subside. He lies there for a while, just breathing in and out.
He doesn't say anything, because he was afraid to say anything.
He did know that he really wanted a bath, though.
Alderfall considers asking Cloudstar if he can go for a swim once he feels better.
