September Event: The Harvest

Sunfang

Sunfang suddenly remembered his two rabbits, and went to retrieve them. Luckily nothing happened to them, and he took them to camp, dropping them in the pile. He saw Cloudstar, obviously troubled by the way she stood, drooping tail and ears. He felt a pang of pity, and took a step to say something, but hesitated and grabbed a rabbit from the pile instead. As he ripped into the stringy rabbit, he thought about the day.

Alderfall

Alderfall dug his claws into the ground, shocked at the news.
"You were already a coward once, but hopefully that stupid cat learned his lesson when you blinded him. He's the only one who could end our operation, so we can't take any more chances."
Alderfall sticks his head out, saying, "What about me?"
The two cats jolt their heads in his direction.
"Ah, yes. I can see the damage."
Alderfall pads out into the clearing, growling at them. "You're going to regret that."
The second cat was huge. His muscles were bulging. "You must be Alderfall."
Calculating the distance between him and the rogue, he thinks the unthinkable for a king cat.
Alderfall says, "Yes, and I will be your doom."
He jumps, slicing open the rogues throat, feeling them go limp in his grasp. He was surprised he didn't miss because of his eye.
Looking at the cat, he says, "Talk."

CloudStar tucked her tail around her. She stretched out, her claws dug into the ground as she wondered what AlderFall was hiding from her. She hissed at herself, telling herself to forget what he was hiding and focus on the rest of the Clan

Sunfang caved and padded over to Cloudstar. "Anything wrong, Cloudstar? You seem troubled." He said. Sitting down next to her, he curled his tail over his paws.

CloudStar sighed "no. I'm fine, SunFang. Just....exhausted" she meowed, her gaze resting on RootKit

Sunfang

Sunfang sighed, wishing he had better chatting skills. At moments like this he total spaced out on what to say. "Do you want something to eat? Ill get you some prey." He meowed finally.

Alderfall

The cat backs up against the tree. "I can't reverse it, I'm sorry."
Alderfall says, "Oh it's okay. I just.. wanted to be BLIND!!"
He lashes out at the cat. Raking his claws down its belly, the cat shrieks as the life was drained from him.
Alderfall flicks his tail, then reaches into the tree to take the rest of the herbs.
Turning around, he looks at the two dead cats, and tears roll down his cheeks.
How could he do such a thing?
Going back to camp, he makes a choice that will change his life forever.
Once he returns the leaves, he was going to leave, and never come back.

CloudStar shook her head "I'm fine" she meowed, though her belly growled just as she said this. It had been a while since she ate, but she knew she wouldn't eat much. She glanced away from RootKit and turned her gaze to the sky

Sunfang leaped up at the sight of Rootkit leaving, and skidded to a stop in front of the small kit. "hey, watch it. Where do you think youre going?" Sunfang growled.

Alderfall

Making it to the camp, he lays the herbs just by the entrance.
He whimpered as he looks back at the clan. He slowly turns around, one paw at a time. Tears threatened to go down his cheeks.
