Shadow paced around the den, feeling slightly alone and annoyed that Rootkit would leave her in such a unknown place. She jumped at every sound, every breeze that managed to make it's way through the walls. "Why did i get myself into this..." Shadow muttered.

CloudStar spotted Shadow and purred softly "you alright, Shadow? You seem a bit jumpy" she teased softly, her tail flicking in amusement


Misty

Misty nodded sweetly "it's nice t-to meet you, Quickstep" she mewed, not seeming as confident around Quickstep as she was around Badger, and now seeming scared of Alderfall because of how he spoke to Badger

Shadow, true to her jumpy personality, almost leaped out of her fur when Cloudstar spoke. Spinning around, Shadow fought back a gasp of surprise. "Y-yeah, im alright..." Shadow stammered quietly.

Quickstep looked at Misty and smiled. "Are, No, were you a loner like Badger?" She meowed correcting her slip of the tongue.

Alderfall

Alderfall growls. "Do you not understand what a clan is? We provide for everyone, only trained warriors teach those who don't know the ways of the Code."
He sighs, wishing he wasn't so hard on the Tom. "Look, I would love for you to be an excellent warrior one day, we just have to expose your potential and make sure it fits the clans expectations."
Alderfall looked away, leading Badger towards his favorite spot. "Let me show you what I know, at least, before you judge me any further. Then, I will let you show me what you know."

Sunfang

Sunfang blinked his eyes open. Now that he had had a good rest, he felt much better. He attempted to get up, but only realized that it was still painful. not one to give up easily, he staggered into a somewhat standing position, and dragged his paws to the medicine den.

Badger nodded, "Ok Alderfall" he meowed, following this small tom.

Quickstep looked up at the two. "Want me come?" She call up to Alderfall.

Alderfall

Glancing back, Alderfall replies, "No, thank you Quickstep. We're going to go do some training. Maybe you can give Misty a tour, show her the camp as well?"
He nods at her.

"Ok" Quickstep calls up the line, then turning to Misty, "You want to see camp?" She asked.

Badger's eyes showed a twinge of sadness when he heard that Misty wasn't coming with them. He quickly changed when he turned to Alderfall and meowed, "let's get going then, are we going to the clearing by the blackberries?".

Sunfang

Sunfang used his knowledge of herbs to pick out some poppy seeds and marigold from the piles. He slowly chewed up the marigold and spat it into his wound, which seemed to be healing quickly. After that he lapped up a poppy seed to help with the pain, and staggered to the middle of the camp, resting.

Alderfall

Alderfall shook his head. "No, I'm taking you to my favorite spot in the whole territory. It's a place that helps me think better."
Padding along, a lump grows in his throat, because he's never taken someone to his favorite place. He hopes Badger will respect it.

Alderfall

Once they reach his favorite little clearing, he forgot about the dead cat, and gasped, like he just saw it for the first time.
He gaped, not saying a word. The moss was still by Poisonfurs paw, and the decay was noticeable by the smell.

Shadow

Shadow had an idea. Leaving Cloudstar behind, Shadow ran off, out of camp. She scented the air once outside camp, and caught a whiff of cats. She followed the scent, coming upon Alderfall and the others. She stayed behind them, hiding in a bush or two while they talked. Completely unnoticed, she followed them in stealth. At least she didnt look like a tiny black furry streak loping across the moorland.

Badger took a step back when the stench of death hut his nose. He padded the last few steps to stare at the body in the clearing. "What happened to him?" Badger whispered, flattening his ears.
