CloudStar swatted him "been through worse" she purred, then teasingly meowed "a mouse? How? Mice are so hard to catch!"

Quickstep trotted out in front, then called back "Come on guys, pick up the pace, we have to get going if we are to be catching anything before it starts raining".

Badger padded a little faster to keep pace with Quickstep. "Are we going to hunt or just train?" He called.

"Let's train first, if we have time we'll hunt" Quickstep called back.

Misty

Misty sped up so she stayed by Badger's side. She still remained quiet, her tail flicking lightly

Quickstep took them to a less grassy space with more sand than grass. She turned, "ok, let's start. Can you both hunt at a beginner level?" She asked.

Badger looked annoyed by the question but answered quickly, "yes, I can feed myself." He meowed.

Alderfall grins. "I am fast, you know. Even if I'm not as fast as Quickstep, I can still catch a puny mouse."
He purrs, touching Cloudstar with his tail. He smiles warmly at her.

Misty shrugged silently "for the most part, I can" she mewed quietly

CloudStar purred "well good for you, AlderFall. You can do what an apprentice can. You must feel like the best warrior" she teased

"Ok, let's see your hunting crouchs" She meowed, sitting down to watch.

Badger dropped into a sloppy but balanced crouch.

Misty

Misty dropped smoothly into a hunting crouch, though her tail twitching quite a lot. It was clear that she had done this plenty of times after she ran away from where she had once lived

Quickstep smiled at them, "good, now go catch somthing edible and bring it back here." She meowed. She ran into the thicker grass and disappeared, "I'll be watching" she called back.

Badger watched her go, confused. "Let get hunting, I guess" He shrugged to Misty and un sheathed his claws in a stretch, then padded quitely into the grass.

Alderfall gasps. "I guess I'll make an amazing warrior one day! That's what they all say. Looks like you're the only one who came out all right."
He smirks at Cloudstar, and for once, he could say he loves her. "I care about you. I hope you know that."
He looks at her with all sincerity.

Misty

Misty nodded, raising her head and tasting the air, her gaze flicking across the moor. Soon she spotted a mouse. Not very large, but it was edible, which is all Quickstep asked for. She dropped back to the crouch, her tail still this time. Silently, she crept up on the small creature, pouncing on it once she was close enough. Proudly, she padded back to the small clearing with the mouse hanging by its tail

CloudStar purred sweetly "i'd hope so, with how much time you spend with me" she mewed sweetly, then flicked him with her tail "with how you are, i'm sure you don't just care about me" she rested her head on her paws

Quickstep watched Misty's catch almost proudly. She popped out of the grass next to Misty meowing. "Good job, now let's go wait for Badger".

Badger sniffed as he walked until he caught the scent of rabbit. Not risking being seen if he stood, he crawled along silently. When he was close enough to hear the rabbit chewing on the grass, he pounced. He missed but shot after it quickly tripping it and killing it. He padded back towards the Sandy area.

Misty

Misty purred softly, sitting and dropping her mouse at her paws. She curled her silvery tail over her paws, trying to straighten the fur on her chest while they waited on Badger. Once he returned, she stopped messing with her fur--still spiked up in clumps of mud and tangles--and glanced at him, purring sweetly

"Well done, both of you. You got some prey. Now let's see if you know how to fight." Quickstep then added, "Claws Sheathed." Then she stood up straight and waited.

Badger set down his rabbit by Misty's mouse, brushing his Fer against her as he did. "What, do you want us to attack you?" He asked.

"Yes." Quickstep growled dropping into a defensive crouch.
