Alderfall

As they got near to the clearing, Alderfall ducks, hearing a muted voice.
He looks back at Cloudstar, flicking his tail downward for them to get low.
He looks into her eyes, hoping that his monster will not be unleashed again.
Unsheathing his claws, he listens, and waits for orders.

(You guys can think of something this time. I'm sorry for creating most of the stories..)

CloudStar crouched low, her ears pricking towards the voice. She was silent, her eyes narrowed and her claws unsheathed

Alderfall

Distinguishing more than one voice, Alderfall freezes.
One sounded familiar.
"Too bad Thorn's second in command didn't make it. It slows our attack slightly."
He hears murmurs of agreement.
Alderfall looks at Cloudstar, whispering, "He's alive."

CloudStar glanced at him "who....?" she asked quietly

Guilt washes over Alderfall. "The cat poisoning the clans."

CloudStar looked away from him "you shouldn't feel guilty about anything" she meowed quietly "none of this is your fault. Anyone could be in your spot" she stared towards where the rogues were, her ears pricked and her heads lowered

Alderfall nods, but he disagrees. "There's more than three.. what do we do?"
Tears grip at at his eye, but he sniffs instead.

CloudStar twitched her tail "just shut up" she meowed quietly, shifting so she could see the rogues. Her muscles tensed, making it clear that she was forcing herself to not charge into a battle

Alderfall

Alderfall feels anger rise in his chest. Very nice timing Cloudstar, he thought.
He flexes his claws, glaring at her. He was going to jump out and rip them all apart. A hiss began to rise deep within his throat.

CloudStar put her tail in front of him to keep him from jumping out, though it took a lot of effort to keep herself still. She was silently figuring a plan to attack the rogues without getting Badger or AlderFall badly injured or even killed

Alderfall

Looking at her, he sees her thinking and calms down a bit, and the tiny hiss fades.
Alderfall looks out in the clearing, noting 5 cats, all talking amongst themselves. He then saw the mystery cat, and took to calling him Tox(Toxin).
Tox was just talking in a normal conversation, and Alderfall was confused.
Hearing the sound of the grass part confirms his suspicions.
He hisses to Cloudstar, "It's a trap! They wanted to get you!"
A cats jumps out in front of Cloudstar, and Alderfall rakes it's back, shoving him over.
"Cloudstar go! I got him!"
The other cats turned around, and hate filled their eyes, along with wicked smiles.
"Badger, get her out of here!"

CloudStar leapt back, hissing "AlderFall, I'm not leaving you to fight these cats alone. I'll be fine" she hissed at him, tensed "I'm not on my last life just yet. I aint giving up so easy" she growled, her golden eyes blazing with fury--both at being told to leave and the rogues' attack
