September Event: Warriors Rising

SilverClaw

SilverClaw, keeping low as to stay hidden, started towards the river. Once she made it to the river, after making sure no cats were around, she sat by the edge. Her gaze traveled to the sky, her tail over her paws. Slowly, she looked down into the water, starting to fish. She caught about two fish before she stood, grabbing both fish by their tail. Wanting away from the camp, she padded to a small clearing next to the river and laid down. Though she was sure she would get punished for eating without feeding the clan first, she took a few bites of the larger fish. Something didn't seem right about the fish, but she kept eating

Beetlekit

Beetlekit chucked a mossball out of the nursery before trotting out. He wanted t check out the fish again to see what's going on. He dragged a small fish out of the pile by the tail and sniffed it. Didn't look rotten, just smelled funny. Maybe that's how they usually are? He bit off a small chunk of the fish and swallowed. Tasted the same, just smelt funny. He continues eating up the rest of the fish, leaving out the bones and the meat trapped between them.

Wildkit

Wildkit's stomach growled from hunger and she made her way to the fresh kill pile. There was a lot of fish stacked atop each other. She had never had fish before, she usually stuck to smaller kill like mice and voles. Wildkit nabbed a the smallest fish she could find in the pile and began to eat it. With every bite, a foul smell emerged from the fish and the meat tasted nasty. It's so gross!, Wildkit thought. But she was committed to finishing to the meal. By the time she was done, she felt slightly nauseous and vowed to never eat fish again.

Clearfox

"Yes, come on." She grabs her mates scruff, dragging him to the medicine cat den slowly. Once she got him in a spare nest inside, she looks around for poppyfreckle.
"Foxclaw, go get anyone you can find near the outside of camp, help find Poppyfreckle." She mewed worriedly.
Clearfox turns to Soulstar, tears threatening her eyes.

Wildkit

Wildkit retched,"It's not what I thought it'd taste like." The putrid fishy scent lingered around her. In an effort to make it go away, Wildkit shook her fur but it made the world seem as if it were spinning and she quickly became dizzy. Wildkit sat down, "Ugh, I still taste it." And began to lick her paw to try and get the taste off her tongue.

Foxclaw nodded and went to turn before mewing to her, "Clearfox, I know your worried about him , but I think it has something to do with the weird smelling fish the I found on the fresh kill pile, I think it has something to do with him being sick, would you please try and see if anyone else ate any while I'm gone, we need to stop this as soon as we can."

Sighing, Clearfox turns towards Foxclaw. "Alright, I will. Please, hurry."
She checks Soulstar one more time before going outside to find anyone in camp.
There was no one she could see, so they must all be outside of camp or... near the river..

Wildkit gasped, "What if I ate the last of it's kind? Well, at least no one is gonna eat that yucky thing now." She laid on the ground and rested her head on her paws, it seemed to slow down the dizzying world.

"Yeah, true." He said, feeling a bit dizzy. He shook his head to see if it would stop, but it made it worse. He stood up on his paws, trying to walk but he was wobbly, as if he was a newborn kit trying to trot. "Woah..geeze, the camp's..spinning."

Spotting Beetlekit and Wildkit over by the fresh kill pile, she runs over. "Little ones, did you eat any of the fish?"
She notices Beetlekit wobbling around and her heart is in her chest. "No, no... Kits, come. Come to the medicine den."
Nudging them towards the den, she picks up Beetlekit from his scruff because he was wobbling so much.
