Fireberry

Fireberry sees Soulstar following her, and runs faster. As she nears the river, she speeds up, swallowing the fear in her throat. She pounds forward, jumps, and her legs land in the water, her claws stuck to a root of a tree. She tries to pull up, but her legs were swishing with the river, so she had little options.
Let go, or fight.

Fireberry hissed. "I don't have to tell you anything! I'm surprised you don't know a storm is coming.. and we're all going to pay."
She runs off before Soulstar could say anything else.

Soulstar - Leader - River - Mentions: Fireberry

He looked stunned, he did know a storm was coming, he wasn't blind to the energies around him. He faltered and looked down, sighing and dragging himself back into camp, miserable. He didn't even bother licking the water from his fur and walked back, curling up in his nest and shaking slightly, wet fur made it cold.

Ripplepaw

Ripplepaw doesnt follow the cats, but feels guilty for not following. She sighs, and decides since her mentor was gone she would go and sharpen her skills in catching fish. She knew it was a bad idea, since if she fell in she wouldnt have anyone to help her, but she made herself a promise she would not fall in. She raced toward the river, the only place in the territory she knew how to get to.

Clearfox

Clearfox watches as Soulstar comes back into camp, and follows him to his den, squeezing in next to him. She didn't say anything for a while.

Fireberry

Fireberry growls at Poppyfreckle. "Wow, someone's hostile."
She shakes him off, getting up. "They'll never come back. I left because I wanted to live, that's the only reason why I'm here."
She looks away.

He sighed and made room for her, curling his long tail around her and staring at the cave floor. "I'm a bad leader... I lost my deputy, two warriors, a medicine cat, and a promising apprentice in so short of a time. Clearfox if there's not kits soon... Riverclan will struggle."

Ripplepaw

Ripplepaw finally arrived at the river, and stood still as stone in the water. As soon as she saw a flicker of movement in the water, she flashed out her paw, flinging the fish onto land. She made a spectacular leap out of the water, one practically fitting of a SkyClan cat, and killed the fish with a swift blow. She waded back into the water to try her luck once more.

Poppyfreckle's eyes softened , '' im sorry you have such a cold heart , i'll just tell Soulstar that two of his cats are dead and that measly apprentice that you left is too''. his eyes narrowed '' she must be so scared that you abandoned her. he knew he was being tough but the warrior had to rescue the apprentice.

Clearfox leaned in to Soulstar. "You are not a bad leader. You may lead the clan, but everyone makes their own decisions. You can't force anyone to do anything. It's a gift that we have at least some of our clan at all."
She rubs her head against his. "I know it's bad timing.. but we can do it, you and I."
Clearfox looks Soulstar in the eyes. "We could."
She blushes, but holds her gaze with him.
