Soulstar's head shoots up and a huge grin spreads across his face, "Sunpaw! Ravenheart! Goldenstorm!" his eyes search for his friend and deputy, grin fading when he didn't see his grumpy deputy. "Where's... Shadeclaw..." he asked softly, swallowing hard, already knowing the answer. One paw was still in the air from him walking over, setting it down slowly he looked at the cats, eyes searching for the answer he didn't want to hear.

Sunflare cocks his head. "Threat?"
He shakes. "I'll sum it up for you. I was practicing my sneaking skills when I landed too hard, and we fell in the river. Shadeclaw and I went at least 6 miles down current, and I ended up battling a rogue and Shadeclaw breaking his paw. Cass found us, she's outside right now. She wants to be a warrior."
Sunflare blushes. "She fixed us up, but the rogue I accidentally killed, her mate was friends with a rather large group of rogues. There was a battle, and Twolegs showed up, taking Ravenheart and Shadeclaw."
He swallows the lump in his throat. "We found Ravenheart and Goldenstorm, and.. I saw Shadeclaw across the path.."
Sunflare has tears go down his eyes. "He was so close."

Soulstar swallows and nods slowly, "Fireberry came back this way, Poppypaw is the new medicine cat and they ended up fighting for some reason or other. She ran off so I followed her, she fell into the river and I pulled her out on Thunderclan's side. She hissed at me and told me a storm was coming, the look in her eyes... She wasn't lying. Riverclan is on high alert, we're building a wall, stocking up on prey as much as we can, and sending out extra patrols. I need you to rest a day or two, we need you ship-shape for whatever this oncoming storm is. Go see Poppyfreckle, both of you. Then rest up, enjoy a day of being back and don't over exert yourselves."

He gets up. "Poppyfreckle? Feels like I last saw him when he was a kit! Fireberry? I had no idea she was even involved."
Sunflare nods to Clearfox. "Is there anything.. else?"
He remembers something. "I need to talk to Cloudstar, in Windclan. I have very important news for her."
