Clearfox looks at the smaller of the two, smiling at it's mixed dark fur. "Mosskit. He will be Mosskit."
She looks into his eyes. "Shouldn't there have been more?"

His face buckled in pain again and he slowly pointed with his tail towards the two small bodies. One was mangled because of the rouge attack, and the other seemed to have just never developed fully. He pressed close to her and curled his tail around his kits and her gently, head bent in grief.

Clearfox

Bending her head, Clearfox sees two smalls bodies near her feet.
Her heart starts beating very fast.
She scoots closer, pulling them over with her paw. Their bodies were cold.
Tears start cascading down her cheeks, and Clearfox whimpers softly.
She licks their fur backwards, keeping them next to her warm belly. She doesn't stop, and starts moaning, "No, no, come back, come back little ones.."

SilverClaw sighed, her ears lowering. TroutKit's eyes dulled when she saw the sadness between the two queens. The kit scampered to her mother and laid beside her, tucking into her tail

She kneaded her mother's belly with her small paws, making little purrs and chirps as she fed, making an annoyed noise when her mother moved to much, too young to recognize that two of her siblings were dead, one of them never having lived in the first place.

Finally sighing some of the tears away, Clearfox holds all of her kits, loving them all the same.
"Love, will you help me bury them.." She sniffs.
She licks Darkkit, saying, "You're a cutie."
Then the smaller one. "You'll most likely be a mommas boy."
Then Clearfox kisses the cold ones on their cheeks.

Mosskit
Pushing in even closer, the sweet smell reached his nose and he began kneading the warm fur around him. When his mother moved a bit, he mewed until she came closer.

Soulstar - Leader - Riverclan Camp - Mentions: Clearfox

He nodded slowly, picking up the limp kits by their scruffs carrying them out of camp, eyes sad as he dug two small holes, settling the kits into them before burying them and marking their small graves with piles of rocks, bending his head down a minute before heading back to his mate and kits. He settled down beside her, staying with her for the night so they could grieve over the two lost kits but adore the two that were alive.

Swanheart - Warrior - Camp - Mentions: Foxclaw

After helping drive the remaining rogues away from camp, and even following them to the border to be sure they were actually gone, the white she-cat settled near Foxclaw by the entrance, to help keep watch. "Some night, huh?" she asked the other warrior quietly, so as not to disturb their clan mates who had fought much longer than she had.

Foxclaw had yawned almost ten times since he settled down near the camp entrance, he was tired and had almost fallen asleep even through he was supposed to keep watch when Swanheart settled down next to him. He smiled at the white she-cat and nodded, he mewed quietly to her, " Yeah, it was. Strange night too, but it had a good ending though, don't you think? What with Clearfox kitting and all. Everyone loves kits." And hopefully no one noticed I was gone, he thought to himself, it wouldn't be a good way to end a night like tonight, that's for sure.

Clearfox curls up around her mate and kits, happy that she had them. She stayed up all night to watch for the rogues and make sure Darkkit and Mosskit were okay.

He dreamt of Starclan and the plans for the future, seeing what seemed to be his kits all grown up and Ravenheart, then Ravenstar watching over the clan, he knew that if he left the clan in her paws one day she'd lead it just as he did, with kindness and peace.

Slykit
Exhausted of everything that had happened the kit curls up in his nest, from there he takes his time to watch the newlings, who were still way too young to realize the danger they'd brought themselves in by choosing a stupid time to arrive. They were so tiny that it was almost unbelievable that he'd once been like that. At last he fell asleep, taunted by troubling dreams about all the events from today.
