Poppyfreckle nodded, he let his tail drag behind him as he counted " three,two,one" he whispered as he started padding at a reasonable pace for a young kit such as him. He rolled around in his den so his fur could be fluffy so the two grey pelts could be the same color and he could blend in if anything happened. The tom made sure that he stayed under him and a bit close. ( not choking in fluff close though XD).

Mosspaw

"Well, I smell lots of.." He sniffed again, trying to identify the prey smell. "Rabbit. But I also smell another cat smell." He was trying to think of what other clan he had heard other cats say bordered them. "Windclan?" He flattened his ears, trying to concentrate on the smell. He was capturing the scent, and storing it in his mind.

He smiled, "good job" he looked around, maybe just take him around the territory? He stood up, padded down towards camp but, not quite. He stopped at a small hill to wait for Mosspaw.

Mosspaw

He padded after Ravenfeather, in a direction that was almost toward camp, but he had stopped at a small hill. The smell of rabbit was still in his nose, and it made his stomach growl. He unsheathed and sheathed his claws over and over. His eyes flitted up as a bird flew overhead.

He looked at Mosspaw and smiled, he looked hungry.. guess he would bring him back to camp for now.. he couldn't exactly move very well to hunt and show him how.. so, they would have to go to camp. "Hungry? We can go to camp and come back out later" he offered

Mosspaw

Looking down at his stomach, Mosspaw nodded when Ravenfeather asked if he was hungry. His face brightened slightly, barely coming out from the usually blank emotionless face on Mosspaw.
"I guess that would be alright, to come out later. Only if your up to it though." Most cats wouldn't be able to see the bit of excitement that flickered in Mosspaw, except for others like him, whose emotions were bottled up.

He nodded and then turned towards the camp, "we will explore some more after you eat something" he was still slow and his wounds did hurt but, he wouldn't let the young cat down... he wanted to show him around and even if he was injured.. he would teach him to hunt tomorrow... that is what he planned and what he would do.. Whispersong crossed his mind as thought of camp and soon his tail drooped but, nothing related to it showed on his face.

Mosspaw nodded. "Alright." They went in the direction of camp, and soon arrived. They entered, and Mosspaw went in to grab a rabbit that was laying near the edge. He went to sit by the apprentices den, and started taking bites of the small prey.

He made it over to the warriors den and flopped down near the entrance with a huff. Wow being injured made that walk feel like we took a trip to some far away place and back again within a little amount of time.. wow..

He sighed, "Yea... but I was going to take him out again because we didn't go far.. his face actually lit up a tiny bit.. we only came back so he could get something to eat" he spoke with harsh breaths as he stood up with her help.

He gave a small smile, "I will protect him.. as for me.. I already had a run in with a fox.. Sunflare chased it off when I could barely move.. I am thankful to him and Moonfrost.." He trailed off as he winced hard, all that moving opened a few of the wounds a little bit where they had slightly healed. Great..

She was worried about his health and his wounds and how all this movement could cause him to not rest as well and take longer to heal. She nodded. "Have fun!'she yelled after him and then went to look for work.
