Army reserves for now, transitioning to active. I've only been in about 4 years so I've got a ways to go. For the mean time I work at Whole Foods in produce. #badass but not really.

Aww, well thank you for your service <3 My brother is in the Air Force, and I was in Navy JROTC last semester, so I love to meet and talk to people in the military :3

I think I'd have to say Phoebe is me as I am now, and Thanatos' is the me that's kinda quiet and self concious, but really wants to feel accepted and loved. A major part of both their back stories is that they really haven't felt loved since they died. Well, scratch that. When Phoebe died, her brother took care if her and made sure to tell her he loved her every day, until he died himself. His decendents, not so much. They were fond of her, sure, but no one ever really said they loved her. It hurts her inside, but she doesn't let it show.
Now that Thanatos is dead, Phoebe takes every chance to remind him that she loves him. After all, they're family, but where are she hugs him and all that, he kinda of stands there, and maybe grunts in return, but never really says anything like that.

That's what I love about characters. There's always a greatpiece of the creator in them and I think it's absolutely amazing. I also want to be writer/animator someday so I love hearing about people's characters and roleplaying.

Off topic: Evee's specie has the ability to shapeshift into people, animals, or even objects, and I'm tempted to have her shapeshift into something ridiculous like a spoon or roll of toilet paper as her first shapeshifting experience.

We're talking about personalities? :o

I'll start with around strangers. Asperger's (diagnosed at age 9, if anyone's curious) has made me just a bit shy around people I don't know. Being introduced is like one of my worst fears because I like people to approach me themselves or in the rare case for me to approach.

Around people I know, I've been described as all kinds of things. Most often as "very sweet and loving", gentle, forgiving, all your happy stuff. But I do like some weird things and I'm very adventurous and willing to try new things. I'm perpetually weird and have a good sense of humor. Even though I do have all these happy things about my personality, I do have depression that most people don't even know about. I do feel happy, but at times, things just aren't working for me, and I become very frustrated. But never angry. Never been described as mean.

Same! I love putting myself into my characters. And I love when I have the time to sit down and really go in depth with them. I don't have her in any roleplays, but I have one character named Mallory Kamara, which means Ill-fated Youth. I named her that because her love interest in the work she belongs to is several years older than her, just as my boyfriend is several years older than me.

But that seems like an interesting first day xD
Also off topic: I have a feeling that Thanatos may or may not develop a crush on Evee, especially with them living together x3

Evee would feel bad for him xD But I do hope she can find a lover at some point. She likes them tall girls.

Yis, character development is good. The way I have her set up now, she's really excited to be at the school. She kind of sees is like Professor Xavier's school in X-Men, thinking it's really cool and fun. Though later on, I plan to have her realize just how dangerous it can be and take it more seriously.

Phoebe's a tall girl x3 but also similar to me in another aspect, one I find difficult to explain . . .

I was raised in an extremely religious home, and because of that, homophobia was drilled into my brain from a very young age. It's still kind of there, but not at the same time . . . my oldest sibling is trans, my best friend at school is bi, and one of my best friends in the world whom I consider my brother and would take a bullet for is also bi. I can get over how I was raised for my friends, and people who aren't hypocrites and radicals, and when I say that, it's because I have had a lesbian at school openly bash me and abother friend for being straight because our relationship with our boyfriend's apparently sicken her.
Personally, people are people. You be you, I'll be me, we should all get along just fine. If your a good person, I don't give a damn what you sexually identify as, just give me a hug and let's be friends, K? K.

Anyway, Phoebe is similar. Since she was raced around a century ago, she's a little unsure about homosexuality, and is straight herself, but she's not going to treat you any differently because of it. Ever will probably soon be a little sister to Phoebe :P
