James chuckled to himself at the behaviour. He didn't mind it, he found it quite amusing actually. "I'm a shapeshifter." He replied. He was quite nervous to tell others his 'power'. It made him feel alone because he's never met another shapshifter in his life. He always wondered what others look like. Whether they looked like normal humans, like himself, or if they had some sort of animal features. "What are you?" James questioned.

He would have responded, had he not been tackled from behind by some random person. Of course, the second he heard that signature giggle he knew for certain it was his roomie. It was shocking how quickly she could change, from a grumpy, definitely-not-morning person to the most social creature he'd ever met. "Morning," he mused, letting her answer the questions for him. It was like she was constantly buzzed on coffee. Of course, coffee was a thing he refused to ever let her near.

When the stranger, 'Jamie' apparently, asked them what they were, he paused for a moment. The word 'haetae' might end up overwhelming someone who had never heard the term.

"I'm a protective spirit," he finally explained, gesturing to Evee who never ceased to keep moving about. "And she's a demon. Well, sort of. A half-demon. Right?" He gave his roomie a questioning look. Sure, he had spent most of his school life with her, but that didn't mean he memorized every little aspect of her life. And there were so many creatures around, there was no way he could remember all of them.

Hearing the door open again she looked over at the girl, her face retaining a rather blank expression. The girl seemed all too happy for her liking, probably the schools way of trying to make her 'sociable'. "Yeah my names Raven, don't get too used to saying it little miss perky" she spoke, picking Gizmo off her leg as she spoke. "But since we're going to be room mates I may as well know your name" she sighed, perhaps she was being too harsh on the girl. You're not here to make friends, just survive and get out. If she can't stand your attitude then she can deal with it. Raven hadn't always been this negative and horrid to the world, but the events in her life last year had changed her. Going to her own bed she lay down, Gizmo on her chest as she gently ran a finger down the creatures back.

Looking to the girl she raised a brow, a look of: Did you honestly just talk to me like that was written across her face. "I'll call you what I want since you haven't bothered with a name" she replied in a rather harsh tone. Giving a sarcastic smile she then went back to gizmo, stroking the creature. "You're bothering me now, will you stop trying to act all brooding. All it's going to do is aggravate me and that's not something you want to do" her voice held real threat to it. After the summer months she wasn't in the mood for brooding, pampered kids. Sitting herself up Gizmo went onto her shoulder, his paws messing with her hair a little. At the girls words about he being a freak she rolled her eyes, self pity was the one thing she couldn't stand. "And with the beginning of this pity party I'm going to go" she stood, placing Gizmo on her bed, and gave another sarcastic smile with a wave.

Going into the hall she let out a deep breath, spotting some people in the hall. I should try and be social, better than sitting in there she headed towards the group. "Hi" she greeted them, her voice wasn't too happy but then again it wasn't usual for her to talk to people. She wondered if any remembered her from last year, or had heard about her, since most of them seemed new. Leaning against the wall she looked at the group, simply slotting herself in and waiting to join in the conversation.

As more and more students arrived, both new and old, Min's expression brightened even more. He loved socializing, it was almost like an obsession of his. "Hello," he greeted the newcomers. One looked lazy and laid back, almost like some sort of delinquent. But at least she seemed happy to be here. The other was grim and angry, it was somewhat eerie. He could feel his protective nature kicking in, ready to act as a shield for Evee in case the girl snapped.

Of course, he forced himself to settle, wanting to make a good first impression on the new students, and turned to the nicer of the two. "You seem satisfied with yourself. Something good happen already?" he asked with genuine curiosity. He was a decent student, not one to cause trouble or play practical jokes, but that didn't mean he didn't find them funny when they did happen.
