Who knew leopards and jaguars could meld so well? Matchi answered his question and implied a later hunt. Then, the impressive jaguar turned his intimidating stare towards her, and she realized just how much larger than her he was. Even as a "smaller species." Given, she was very small for a lion, but she still had a size up on most jaguars and leopards.No wonder he's the lead warrior. She thought. And then, A hunt really does sound nice. "A hunt might do us all some good, what with the way you're both sitting about" Mikaeda teased, "Matchi, f you don't mind some company on your hunt, I'd love to join you." She rose to her feet. "I could get some scouting done while we're out, as well. Two birds with one stone!" ((Don't be sorry for making short posts. As long as there's something to respond to, then I'm happy with it! Although, he noticed how Mikaeda seemed... self-concious maybe? Something about seeing that enormous jaguar. With a gulp, Nokk edged a paw in front of Mikaeda in a subtle attempt at protection and comfort. "Yeah, hunting would be good! I could show you both a thing or two about it," he teased. He didn't know how either of them felt about water, but hopefully they'd accept. He might find Matchi less intimidating on his turf. Who knows, with the whole terrifying jaguar thing out of the way Machi might even be nice or funny or both. (*yell @ own writing* aaaaaa) 0 players like this post! Like? |

There was this one river where he'd seen a few bush pigs and antelope. A few dips in it had confirmed a lack of crocodiles making it the perfect hunting spot. He bounced ahead of the two, "I know a perfect spot to hunt! Follow me!" He wondered if Mikaeda could even swim. She was a lion after all and they weren't particularly known for fishing... Nokk hoped this wouldn't be a mistake choosing the water. (but but you both do a very good write and my brain is like "hello i see u trying to write yknow what'd help? turning off yes" ty brain not like i wanted to rp anyway) 0 players like this post! She wasn't afraid of Matchi, but she appreciated his protectiveness. Especially when he himself was afraid of the big cat! When Matchi consented to them tagging along, she rumbled happily. "Lets get going while the day is young! It's much more fun to hunt when it isn't miserably hot." She paused, noticing the muscled male's look of...uncertainty? It was an unexpected expression from him. I wonder what he's thinking...He almost looks sad.She didn't even realize she was sort of staring as she pondered. Thankfully, Nokk's voice cut through her thoughts, and brought her back down. When he said he had the perfect place, she hopped to her feet and shook the dust from her fur. "Lead the way, then!" ((Again. Dw about being short. :) I'll be doing short responses for a while because I'm spending most of my time on exams and studying for them.)) 0 players like this post! Like? |

Aastral | female | I get bored since there is no action and i hop from the tree. I land on the ground silently and look as nokk, mikaeda, and matchi find them selves in an awkward conversation. "typical." i mutter and stalk off. I head out on a simple hunt and sniff, looking fro something. AS i walk around, the sun bares on my dark fur. I begin to pant from my dark fur soaking up the hot sun rays. I pant and reach a small pond and start lapping the cool water on my dry throat and tongue. While drinking i hear a rustle and quickly dart into the shadows. I look to see a lone giraffe, fairly young and a little skinny, steadily walk to the pond and look for predators. HE slowly bends down and starts lapping at the water. I stalk inch by inch, closer and closer. Soon i leap and startle him. He jumps to the side and rises his head and long neck. When he raises his neck, i immediately bite it and don't let go. He can't raise his neck much since my weight is heavy on his neck. I soon take him down and while on the ground and after a while, i'm dragging him back to camp. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I drop him in the food pile and walk off to the pond and take a sip. I decide to go and see if the bobcat, samit, is still there and enjoying his meal. I sniff around, remebering where the cave i left him at is. 0 players like this post! Like? |
