new year new me. let's see if we can edit this old thread and get some new tricks out of it.

you can call me val, or valkyrie. or "hey you." it doesn't matter that much. i'm 20 years old. i live in the us. i've been roleplaying for 12+ years and consider myself literate to advanced. i'm laid back when it comes to ooc chatting so please don't let any lack of punctuation or capitalization here scare you off.
i prefer chatting/plotting over discord and roleplaying over email, but i could be convinced to rp over discord as well.

specific things i'm looking for:
-literacy: someone who can give me a solid 2+ paragraphs most of the time.
writer's block and certain situations can call for shorter, and that's fine. also someone who can spell correctly, and uses the right "their, there, they're".
like if you use the wrong one more than once in a single reply i'm out. it's a big peeve of mine.

-activity: someone who won't bug me if i disappear for a few days without warning. i have depression and real life crap going on, and i'm not going to let impatient people get to me

-flexible: probably the thing that annoys me most about other roleplayers are the ones who say they "only play females" or they refuse to do f/f, or something equally ridiculous. it makes me want to scream. certain cravings are totally fine, but i really hate ultimatums like that.

-characters: not really a necessary thing, but i enjoy making up new characters for new roleplays and would like a partner who does the same.
it's also nice if you're able to play multiple characters (particularly with animals) and have small side characters who can come in and out and don't really matter.


what can i give in return?
-a solid 2+ paragraphs per character per reply. i'll let you know if i get stuck or something.
-proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc.
-creative plots and fun characters (imo, it's something i'm good at)
-i'm super chill and p easy to talk to ooc??

things i refuse to do:
-PWP, or a "mature" roleplay just for the smutty scenes. i want romance and friendship before we get to that point.
-a handful of kinks including but not limited to: mpreg, scat/watersports
-play as or against canon characters. originals in a fandom-verse is totally fine.

things i would love to do:
i currently have a strong hankering for a modern fantasy/paranormal/supernatural rp playing as a feline shapeshifter of some kind. beyond that i'm open to ideas, but this is actually a favorite theme of mine.

warriors is also really big for me! but with this i like playing 5 or more characters probably.

wolves, lions, dragons (oh my), basically any kind of feral animal is cool too.
