Edit: Please - if you don't support, I'd like to know why, thanks. I'd like a VALID reason. Come on criticism, come at me! it would be cool if in explore, very rarely you come across a foreign cat that sells lots of goodies. there can be a sort of beetle currency to trade in for special items or just plain sb. im not sure on appearance, but I would imagine it to be very messy, worn out and very smug looking so.. he could say something like, '' hey you, yes you. ya want to buy somethin? I have lots of goodies so what do ya say?'' and it will have an option to look at shop (which would contain special items) or snatch item. (which will give you a random rareish item or some of his sb) the merchant should appear extremely rarely since it would be crazy to get him every few % in explore. he could say other things like, ''psst, ya you! I have been diggin' in the ground and found this, so wanna buy it for a few... beetles?'' and would have the same/similar options. sorry for plucking this idea from my head :P Edit: Khajiit has wares if you have beetle. Edit: Now that a story mode feature exists, its possible ;) Edit2: And a possible way to introduce tigons.  |

Some games do this with event (usually cash shop) items (so for example, you have a rare, limited-time chance of buying 1 event item, such as an applicator). I think it's a really cute idea.  0 players like this post! Like? |

This sounds really cool. I think using just plain SB would be easiest. What about it being something exotic, like a South China Tiger (living in Africa because of rewilding program). That would be really cool. He could sell stuff to you. Special stuff. I love this idea. But, it should be rare. Maybe like a 5% chance. Or less. Maybe he could sell things that are very rare, like Lion Scrotum. Or, maybe we could make it an African Golden Cat (since that isn't in the game). 0 players like this post! Like? |

@xiinos I was thinking of the Khajiits while reading this as well! I'd say maybe have him also say something like "follow me I might have some treats ya might like?" or have the option to like roar to get him off your territory and he gets angry and snags like 3 beetles before running away? 0 players like this post! I was thinking... Usually, the animals you can buy things or get a service from - Monkey Business, the Ultrasound Bat, those from Events with their special brand of beetles - want your beetles because they eat them. The Falcon is a bit of a stretch in this reasoning, but that's the only one. While I know that cats can and will eat bugs, it would be interesting if we could collect this special cat's currency while exploring all year 'round. Maybe he wants some kind of herb - it would give another use for the catnip that languishes in those who aren't interested in claiming NCLs -, maybe he might want those little meat scraps that spoil in your hoard daily? Or maybe another type of beetle for whatever purpose - maybe to gift them to the ladies? I don't think we have any beetle inspired on the Chelorrhina polyphemus species, and those aren't part of the beetle battles either. Jewel Beetles might be inspired on them, but they're really eye catching, with a nice, bold green that fades to orange and gold accents. Maybe a tribute to the ES Khajiit, and have him ask for sugar? No support. We have plenty of shops already. We have shops that have the wares randomized. I don't want to have to go looking for the shop too. I find it a supremely annoying "feature" in other games. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I would support but what kind of things would he sell? I would not support selling rare items like lion scrotums, those should be kept to events, but I would support maybe something like an exclusive beetle you can only get from him. That'd be neat. C: 0 players like this post! Like? |
