Bumbletail was about to answer Talon before they were interrupted by Boulder. Her eyes sparkled with happiness as she quickly walked up to Boulder, a limp still visible in her stride. "Boulder you silly tom, where have you been." She said rubbing her head with his purring uncontrollably. "Do you like making your mate worry about you." She said her eyes starting to water. "I thought you left me, to be alone." She said pressing up against him. She looked back at Talon. "I will get back to you on that Talon my friend." She said with another warm smile.

Boulder smiled, nuzzling Bumbletail. "I would never leave you, and you know that!" Boulder licked her head, his ears flattening. "I-I'm sorry, I was just looking for prey, and got lost...I can't believe I'm not still a kit if I can't remember the way home!" Boulder let out a mrrow of amusement, licking her ears. "Again, I'm so sorry, Bumble." Boulder meowed. "Next time, I'll just bring lots of cats with me, I'll also tell you where I'm going." Boulder purred happily.

He looked after her as she padded off to her mate and as she turned around to tell him she would get back to him on that, he smiled back at her. He was happy because she called him friend.. it was the best feeling ever to him. "Yes, of course! You know where to find me if you need me" He replied happily, not really caring if her mate got the wrong idea. He stretched as he looked at Boulder, so that is her mate.. he looks kinda small.. but he didn't really care. Wasn't his mate.. besides, he was straight and couldn't care less what cats went with who. All he knew, was that he wasn't ever going to get one. He wasn't interested at all, for all he knew mates were a pain and you would get followed around everywhere.. he wasn't going to be tied down and he wasn't going back to clan life.. no thank you.. he was going to wait a little more to drag his brother away and that would be that. With a flick of his tail he turned and padded towards the medicine den, poking his head in to see Maple and Stoneclaw.. goody.. his new friends brother with a stupid cat's mate.. how was this going to go...? What would happen if he flirted with Drake's mate.. he wanted to find out. He puffed out his chest and looked as charming as he could as he stood there, "hello.. what den is this?" He smiled, trying not to look at Stoneclaw, not wanting to find out if the cat was glaring at him or not..

She entwined her tail with him, her purring stopped at the mention of a pond, memories came flooding back... Riverwhisker had wanted her to travel to a pond, this couldn't possibly be the one, it wasn't time yet. She reassured herself quickly, then turned to face the tom, leaning into brush her nose against his. "Sounds wonderful" she purred, her heart starting to race a little with a mixture of nerves and joy.

Maple lifted her head up to get a better look at the newcomer, she raised an eyebrow. "Don't play dumb kitty, I know you know this is the medicine cat den... Or in the case my prison." She threw a glare at Stoneclaw, before standing up and padding over to the tom. "Oh, you're that pitiful cat Nightfang's brother aren't you?" She purred, proud of herself for remembering such information. "I'm Maple by the way" she added, sitting down and running a paw over her ears.

Maple hissed and turned her back on Stoneclaw, humphing as she did "Don't listen to him, he's no fun." She said, curling a mismatched tail around her paws "and Silence is fine, your just jealous" Maple teased, smiling at the fact that she was making him miserable. All this sitting around had put her in a terrible mood, and she wanted to get out of here as soon as possible.

"Jealous of what exactly Maple sweetheart." He chuckled. "Don't get to cocky dear, I still dream of killing you every night." He smiled evily. "After all wasn't it your jealously that got Bumbletail hurt in the first place." He said rolling back onto his stomach, knowing it wouldn't take alot to piss Maple off. "You were jealous on how her and Boulder were falling in love yet you only have that pathetic excuse who doesn't even seem interested in saving you." He laughed evily. "Maple you are one funny cat you know that." He glanced at Talon. "Watch yourself tom cat, or her weak mate might leave you with minor cuts." He teased Maple on some more, he knew that Talon didn't like Drake so much ethier. Why he had no idea, but he was sure he would find the joke funny as well.

She let out an agitated yowl and turned to face him, their faces inches apart "Lies! All of them, just shut up!" Maple was practically biting her tongue to prevent the tears from coming. She knew he was only messing with her, but his words still hurt, she knew there was a good reason for everything Drake did. Besides, he probably had better things to do then save a worthless cat like her. She closed her eyes, suddenly uninterested in Talon she padded over to a corner of the den, curling up in a small ball.
