She was so scared, she didn't know what to do. Tears were streaming down her face. She was NOT going to lose him like she lost her father.

He watched her as she cried, he swallowed hard, "Ravenstar... you are a great friend.." he gave a small smile. She was one of his best friends.. He wasn't going to die now.. He didn't want to.. "Do I look that bad..?" he joked, trying to make her feel better.. He winced as he tried to move.. he sputtered out the words, "I am not going anywhere... I am staying here to keep you safe just like Darkshadow will.." His eyes flicked around to see his surroundings.."I think of you as family..." he was hesitant to go on, "Can I call you family..?" He didn't think she wanted that because of the way he had been lately.. he just wanted to keep her safe... He felt a brotherly bond with her but, he knew he was probably going to meet his own brother soon.. He fought and fought, not giving up.. he wasn't leaving her.. he wasn't leaving his clan to fight this alone.. never..

Drake
He emerged from his den and sat in the entrance, he looked around. He was covered in dried blood, he looked horrible.. the only thing was, it wasn't his.. He looked at Bloodfang who was approaching with a smirk. he bared his teeth, he didn't want him near.. Bloodfang looked like he knew what he had done.. He looked for Ravenfeather, he couldn't have felt more like a cold blooded cat..

She was almost smiling, yet tears were still coming. "You know.... ive...ive always seen you as a b-brother....and i just...wanna say....i...love you....." she knew he probablh didnt see her like that, but she had to admit those trapped feelings. She waited for his response. Hoping he was still with her.

He gave a small smile, "you are like my sister.." He coughed. He never knew what it had felt like to have a sister.. he guessed now he did.. he stared into her eyes, "I love you too.. my brother will be happy to know he also has a new sister.." He joked. He sat up with a hiss of pain and then slowly made it to his feet. Everything in his body protested.. but, he wasn't letting life go.. "Please help me to camp.." He didn't want to leave her.. she was family and he would protect her..

She was by his side the moment he said somthing," im glad you think of me like that too..." she was smiling now, but tears were still coming down. She didnt need to lose anymore family, she had just recooperated from her mothers death.

He touched his nose to the top of her head to comfort her, he then slowly padded towards camp, limping and a little blood trickling from his wounds hit the ground.

She stayed beside him the whole time, even for stitching. She actually helped a bit. She could not lose him too.

When they reached camp, he headed for the medicine cat den.he was in rough shape and he looked around for their medicine cat.. where were they? He plopped himself right near the entrance and laid down.. he was so tired so, he stayed there and rested his aching body.

He looked around, "where is our medicine cat?" He huffed, he was tired and his eye lids were getting heavy. He remembered what they used to use on him when he was young and reckless, he needed cobwebs.. his voice was raspy as he spoke, "cobwebs.." He was getting worse as time went on..

He swallowed hard before continuing, "cobwebs stop bleeding.." He remembered the old medicine cat that had been there when he was an Apprentice... he had heard them talking to their Apprentice and had always remembered it.. he had always gotten into bad situations but; never as badly injured as this..

He nodded, he didn't have enough energy to reply anymore. He was getting worse quicker now as the blood escaped from him.. he felt helpless, he was determined to stay with Ravenstar, his only family left for him now..
