She nodded, she called for the medicine cat and when it was all over, she looked at her kits. She could only tell one was alive from her position.. the little kits back rise and fell with every breath it took but, she was going to wait for the medicine cat to say something before anything else. Her kits mew led as she moved her tail, oops.. she put her tail back closer to them to keep them warm and they seemed to settle down.

(oooh....that makes more sense. i had no idea who was pregnant and who wasn't other than the male characters (duh), my characters and Sunfang :P)
Cheetahpaw
After a quick nap near the river, Cheetahpaw padded up to the river to take a drink. "I should head back." He suggested to himself. Making up his decision, he strolled towards the den, looking around at the scenery. At the time of his arrival, he spotted Russetheart. "Hey Russetheart. How're the kits?" He asked, tilting his head at the pregnant she-cat.

She looked at her kits and realized that only one was breathing. She looked at Cheetahpaw and said. "Only one survived." Her voice was flat like it didn't bother her that two had been born stillborn, but she had hoped all of them would survive. "Can you make sure the breathing one is healthy. I don't want to loose her two."

He looked at the female, empathy significant in his expression. "Sorry for your losses- and sure, I can do that for you." He padded up to the female and proceeded to (ultrasound? I have no idea :P) the unborn kit. "Yes... The kit is alive and quite healthy. However I do recommend you get a tiny bit more sleep as well as eat a bit more food. Maybe one or two more fish? Other than that, the kits are perfectly healthy- don't worry as much." He informed. He stood in the exact same spot before nodding slightly in respect and trotted off to his den to take another nap.

Russetheart breathed a sigh of relief when Cheetahpaw said her kit was healthy. She glanced at her kits and said. "I'll name the silver and russet one Wishkit. She the one that will survive and so my wish came true. The two that were born stillborn will have names as well. I know they'll be happy in Starclan. The russet and black patched one will be named Patchkit and the silver one will be named Ivykit. I hope Patchkit and Ivykit made it safely to Starclan." She glanced at Wishkit and knew that the she-cat was going to survive.

She was happy that at least one kit survived.. she loved what she had named her kit, "what a beautiful name" she smiled at Russetheart.

She looked at him, grateful he was there. "Hey... do you know where Mistkit is?? She never came back after looking for you...."

Darkshadow looked at Ravenstar and then remembered something. "I was supposed to answer her question. I forgot all about it." He mumbled, speaking louder he said. " I last saw her in camp."

He emerged from resting in the warriors den and looked around, he didn't know the kit that called Ravenstar mom.. but, he was curious.. he looked around to see if the kit was around, wondering if she was OK and wondering why she wasn't in the nursery..

She was wrong aimlessly around the warriors den, wondering where mommy went, then she runs into riverwhisker. Scurrying backwards she apologizes hurriedly,"oh,oh, oh, I'm soo sorry! I I didn't see ya there..."

He let out a little meow of amusement, "it's OK but, shouldn't you be in the nursery?" He looked around for Ravenstar, this was her.. kit? They didn't really look alike... oh well.. but usually kits call their mothers and fathers by their names.. oh well.. it wasn't hurting any cat. He looked back down at Mistkit, he smiled.

"Do you know where Ravenstar is? I'm worried about her. And no she didn't have to stay in there all the time..." She looked at him hoping an answer would arise.

He huffed, "she is probably with Darkshadow.. you should go to the nursery and wait for her before you get into something that gets you into trouble" he was exaughsted.. he couldn't watch the kit until Ravenstar came.. maybe the Queens could watch her until Ravenstar came back. "You can go check out the new kits"

"New kits?! Where?!" She jumped up and down excitedly.

She was just outside her den when she noticed mistkit. She limped over to the warrior den and pushed the kit, making her squeal even more.
