Cocking his head slightly, Shadestep tried to understand Bumbletail the best he could. "No one can completely stay away from.. darkness. Though I do like how he looks out for you, he should believe more in your own capacity and abilities." His smile towards the other turned playful. "For example: physically, I'm sure you could take me down if you wanted to."
Upon hearing her last question Shadestep considered it for a moment- but didn't have to for long as he drew only blanks. "No, however, I do hope there is a cat out there for me. How about you?"

Bumbletail stayed quite she tail flicked with each tought. "No but i hope i will find one soon, if not i woukd at least want some kits." she smiled looking at Shadestep. "Im going to go the kill pile want me bring you back something." she giggled after her stomach made a loud gurgling sound.

At the mention of kits Shadestep chuckled. "You seem to have your life planned." His tail swished to his side, off from around his paws. "Sure. If there are any birds I feel like one right now, but anything would be fine." Giving Bumbletail a warm smile his eyes flickered off her and to outside the camp.

He opened his eyes after sleeping for a little while. His ember eyes looked around curiously as he wondered how long he had slept.. he could have missed so many great adventures! he looked up to Rainpaw and purred, happy she was still there. He rubbed his head against hers after he climbed up enough so he could reach. He was quite small for his age.. he had been born the runt of the litter but, he never minded it. He smiled brightly, "Hi Rainpaw! Can we go play now?" he tilted his head slightly to the side, trying to use his cuteness as a kitten to persuade the older cat to come play with him.

Bumbletail ran off to the kill pile taking a rabbit for herself and a pheasant for Shadestep. She hummed as she walked back to the entrance. "Hefe yof fo" she said with her mouth with. She dropped them next to Shadestep and grabbed hwr rabbit. "Mm i love rabbits, mm this one is soo well fed." she said muchinh away at the rabbit. "How your pheasant?" she said looking at Shadestep.

Honeypaw

Honeypaw sniffed around a dead hare she found close to the camp. It was already killed by..something..I dunno, a fox? She didn't smell anything rotten, in fact it smelled like it was recently killed. She grabbed it by the waist, trotting it back into the camp.

Shadestep concealed a smirk he felt trying to grow on his face from Bumbletail's muffled words. The dark warrior still shot her an amused look, though, as he drew the pheasant closer to him with a paw, giving her an appreciative dip of his head before he dug in. "It's quite good, thanks, although it sounds as if it's uncomparable to that rabbit," he teased gently. Shadestep lowered his head to continue eating his meal, his eyes looking up at Bumbletail amusedly. When he was mostly finished with the bird he sat up straight once more, tilting his head to the she-cat. "Birds are pretty good you know, I would say possibly even better than rabbits. Maybe you're just too intimidated by getting past the feathers to have ever eaten one." His voice was clearly playful, and a small part of himself felt the tension produced by the fight finally leaving him.

Bumbletail smiled at Shadestep. "I love birds but i like them freshly caught and with my own paws." she said nudging Shadestep playfully. "And yes this rabbit is de-li-cious m-m-mm." she said licking the small red stains from the rabbit from her lips. "You are a cool cat Shadestep, it feels nice to finally make a friend." She said with a purr, she laid her tail lightly on Shadestep flank.

He laid in the nest where his mom should be but, she is out fighting like most of the other warriors.. he looked around the nursery for another cat to talk to or something.. he got up and padded over to the exit of the nursery and peeked his head out.
