Shadestep hissed quietly, hearing that the rogues led to Bumbletail's injured state. Though he wasn't expecting anything else, it still aroused his anger hearing it. "Is your shoulder feeling any better?" he asked, trying to take her attention off the hostile she-cat he noticed giving her a dangerous look. He stared evenly back at Maple before looking to Frostflight, and he hoped she did the same with him as to not provoke the rogue.

Stoneclaw looked at the she-cat giving her a small smile and walked away without a word. *I hate being away from Bumbletail, but it is the only way i know to keep her safe.* He sniffed the ground *To keep them all safe they know how to be walked over I don't my pride will kill them all.* He thought looking up seeing the birds fly. He thought of Sunfang, he didn't like being rude to her but he just wanted her to protect the kits from everyone at this time even clan cats. He walked on towards the lake bending down for a quick drink.

Maple slunk into the nursery, she took a seat behind Sunfang, sliding her tail tip along her shoulder. "Don't cry Sunfang" she whispered, just a hint of pity in her voice.

Frostflight glanced at her shoulder, it had stopped bleeding now, but it was starting to swell. "A little, the swelling is starting to bother me though." She said, giving it a light shake.

She looked at the rogue and her pupils went to slits though tears kept coming, she pulled her kit closer and looked for Tigerkit, without giving him a chance she pulled him to her too. She pulled them both close, guarding them. She had nothing to say to Maple.. she looked to Riverwhisker's cold body and couldn't keep the tears from coming..

He watched everything that was going on in camp, he watched as Maple went into the nursery and then watched every other cat. He wondered what he should do with these cats.. they had nothing left, no hope.. he liked it when they cried or thought they had nothing. He enjoyed their sorrow, he was just wondering if he should strike fear into all of them to prevent any more out bursts.. Where was Obsidian anyway??

Maple felt anger light up inside her for a moment, she managed to keep it under control and refrain her pupils from slitting. "I wasn't the cat that killed Riverwhisker, and I'm not going to harm your kits." She meowed stubbornly, Maple realised she wasn't helping. She stood and padded over to Riverwhisker's body, she bowed her head "I'm sorry Sunfang, I'm sorry he's gone, I know how you feel, I lost my father. But we need you to stop grieving, for your sake, and your kits." Maple sat opposite Sunfang now, there was a strange feeling inside her now, she didn't have the urge to kill and to make people miserable, she didn't have the urge to feel power. She looked almost longingly at Sunfang's kits, she had hidden the fact that she has always wanted kits, a rouge's life is no place for kits, Maple had to accept that.

She looked to Maple as she spoke, then watched as she sat down and stared at the kits. She kept the kits close, she wondered what the she-cat wanted.. "can I help you...? you must have come for something.. not to comfort me.." She said plainly, knowing she was probably making the cat angry but, she didn't care. She wanted the kits safe.. she was going to keep Honeypaw safe too..

Maple narrowed her eyes, she stood abruptly, "I came to see if everything is alright, which its obviously not the case. If you don't trust me perhaps you should talk to someone you trust? Perhaps Riverwhisker? Oh wait, I forgot He's gone!" She turned on her paw, flicking her tail strait out as she did so "I would never harm your kits, or any kits for that matter." She said, not bothering to keep the hurt out of her voice. She pushed out of the entrance and strode over to drake, pressing her flank against him in a defending way. "Stupid queen wallowing in her grief" she muttered.

He watched as Maple came over and pressed her flank against him, he listened to her and then licked the top of her head. "She lost her mate.. I will give her that much sympathy.. but I will not tolerate the way she treats you." He sounded like a genuinely defending mate. He rubbed his head against hers, he didn't purr as he couldn't come to bring the sound up. He never had since his brother had made him a blood thirsty cat. He would kill the clan cat's kits, he knew he would without hesitation.. He wanted his own kits but, he would never let clan kits live past 7 moons..

Bumbletail woke up sore all over her body. She looked around seeing Frostflight. "W- where is Stoneclaw?" she said trying to get up.

Stoneclaw had returned with some herbs for Bumbletail and Frostflight. He had passed the nursery hearing Maple *Damn kitty pet, picking on a mother and her kits.* He walked in looking at Maple. "Leave here now kitty pet," he growled. "Or I will hurt you more than i did the monster of a mate you have." he hissed walking straight into her face. "You know you are his only weakness i can take you out rigjt now if i wanted." he let an evil grin appear ob his face. "I know ypu are the one who hurt my sister, come on kitty pet I wanna play the same game me and Drake played." his laugh was so sinister. "Gow long can you last kitty pet, Drake gave up to easily that he did." he looked into the she cats eyes hatred burned in his eyes

She watched as Stoneclaw passed, looking in. She wondered what he wanted.. she looked at the kits, not making eye contact and comforting her son as well as protecting Tigerkit from any cat that was coming near. She hadn't care that Maple left hurt, she thought the cat was faking it anyway.. she looked at her lost mate and sighed, she didn't want to act up or else Drake would kill the kits.. he never showed mercy and she was surprised when she had heard that he gave up easily when he fought Stoneclaw.. what was Drake up to..?

Maple growled and walked towards Stoneclaw slowly "Call me a kittpet one more time and i'll scratch your eyes out." She yowled, her pelt standing on end. Fury ran through her veins "I think your the real monster here! I would never hurt kits, i didn't lay a paw on Sunfang." She hissed Maple unsheathed her claws, she wouldn't let Stoneclaw get away with this unscathed.
